“She took great care of my diabetic cat, Sarah. She needs shots twice a day. Jennifer let me know what her schedule was if there were any minor conflicts where an adjustment might be needed. We have a robot litter box which, of course, malfunctioned while we were out of town. She called and FaceTime with me so we could come up with a solution. (Sometimes those litter boxes seem more trouble than they’re worth???) Came home to a clean house and a happy cat. Thanks Jennifer!!”

About: I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. My oldest dog is 14 years old and I’ve had her since she was a puppy. I am very good with senior care as she’s an older gal that takes medication daily and has chronic arthritis. My other two dogs are ages 2 and 6! I also have a 10 year old cat! My dogs range from large to small! I’m looking to help out some pups during the day before 3! Possibly evenings Monday - Wednesday l! My schedule is pretty flexible depending on distance! I will treat your pets as my own, I will make sure they are safe and happy! I will make sure all dogs are properly leashed before walks and safe inside after !
About: I've owned or help own several dogs. My family has 3 currently. I love animals so I volunteer for and ride horses, care for dogs and feed the feral cats in my neighborhood. I'm perfect for someone who needs a quick, cheap, consistent service. Currently available to walk or drop-in with pets from 2-5pm on Wednesdays only. I am a very good listener and a gentle handler. I instill some consistent walk etiquette but I am not a dog trainer! I am here to keep me and your pet walking and safe. I have a fenced in backyard and several parks nearby. My neighborhood is walkable. Your pet will never be far from water, food, space or comfort.
About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m nineteen now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. In school, my teacher had a pet chameleon and turtle and I always was excited to help feed them. I actually started majoring in Biology at first in college to be a veterinarian or zoologist. I have a different path now to help children but I still have a passion for pets and other beautiful creatures of this Earth. I will take care of your fur babies just like I did mine and love them just as much. I am a college student as mentioned before so my current schedule is MWF to be free after 9:00 am and Tu and Thurs to be free after 12:15 pm but this is just until my Thanksgiving and Winter Break which I will be free most of the time. My Winter Break will begin the 12th of December and my next semester starts January 1st or 2nd. However, I will be free Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so very flexible. However, I do love on campus in Norfolk at ODU so I can take business there as well but mainly for dog walking and pet sitting at your residence. I do rely on my mother, boyfriend or friends for transportation but they are willing to help snd be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. Then spend more time with them until our fun is over and they are returned with their beloved owners. I will have a whole day well planned and you and your fur babies will appreciate it. :)

My girlfriend and I walk the dogs at least 3 times a day with a visit to the dog park in the evening. There is 3 other dogs that always meet us at the dog park at the same time as well that live in the same housing territory as us which helps them all socialize and play together. All 3 dogs get fed 3 times a day as well so your dog will not go hungry if it needs fed multiple times a day. I am currently not working so the dogs will be my priority! No worries at all as the dogs will always be coming first in this household. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs to go out. We also have a friendly dog park right out back of the house as well in which we take the dogs to frequently and know most of the dogs that go to the park as well. We have 3 stories so the dogs will get plenty of exercise going up and down the stairs as well.
“This is the first time we've used a dedicated pet sitter and I am very glad we did. Linden is very approachable and friendly; during the meet-and-greet, I could tell that our three cats were in good hands. Our trip was that much more enjoyable knowing that Linden was doing the things we normally do, from litter box management to giving medication to providing the human touch!”
“Kelsie did an excellent job while I was out of town for a week. My kitties experienced a bit more separation anxiety than usual, and ended up making a huge mess of the front room. Kelsie informed me of it immediately and was super understanding of it. Since I wasn’t around my phone during that visit and couldn’t tell her where the cleaning sprays were, she waited till I was able to tell her where the items were. Then came back the next day to further clean up the floors! One of my kitties is very weary of new people and she did great with making sure not to stress her out too much.”

“Kelly was incredible! She really rolled with the punches & took amazing care of our two girls— including giving medication to our spazzy one! We will definitely keep her in mind when looking for sitters in the future!”

“Lauren took care of my sweet Bailey like she was her own. From the moment they met, Bailey was completely smitten, and I can’t blame her. Lauren has this calm, loving energy that dogs (and people) instantly trust. She made sure Bailey was happy, safe, and spoiled with attention, and I never once had to worry. She’s attentive, patient, and somehow knows exactly what a dog needs before they even ask for it. I swear Bailey was happier than ever when I came back from work... probably because she spent her days with someone who truly loves the animals she cares for.”

“Brielle was amazing! I booked her super last minute and she made time to come meet us before. She communicated well and took such good care of Khaleesi! 10/10!!! I will be using her again for sure!!”

I received regular updates to set my mind at easy knowing my “baby” was well taken care of while I was out of town. I would definitely schedule his services again anytime I have to go out of town.”

South Suffolk cat parents share their Rover experiences
Dani was great with Colin, Scarlett, and Aro. She took good care of them and everything went smoothly and easy. The fact that I didn't have to worry about them made our little trip much easier. They liked her from the very beginning and I'm so glad we choose her.
