About: I have experience caring for all types of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and exotics. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant with 250+ clinical experience hours, pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I will be interning at a vet clinic this summer, but I will have a fairly flexible schedule for care for pets in their own home. About: I have had dogs since I was born, and a cat for about 6 years. I’ve dog/ cat sat many times for friends and family, and have nannyed kids with pets as well. I have two senior dogs currently, and also bottle fed and litter trained my cat! I’m currently a student in college, so I’m free most afternoons and evenings! Typically before 9/10, and then around 2-night time. Most weekends are flexible aswell. I have two senior dogs at home, one of which is crated at night. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, animals have been something I’ve loved since I was little. My passion was mainly towards cattle, but after I moved to college I began watching my friend’s dogs when they were gone on extracurricular activities and I fell in love again! Marissa is amazing! My dogs love her. ❤️ My dog Gabie is a tough sell on new people but she instantly took to Marissa I couldn’t believe it. She plays with the dogs and sends me pictures. So fun! She is great. I’m very picky about who I let watch my dogs but I would recommend Marissa to anyone. Especially if you have an anxious senior dog like my Gabie.
She was the best with my Lucy girl! I have never left her for a week, or with anyone who wasn’t family. Safe to say I was nervous, but Rachel kept me updated with pictures and videos that eased my mind, and made me feel included while i was away! Highly recommend!
