In my clients home: Check ins would include tending to anything outlined by the pet owner, and being sure to give the animal as much pets and playing as they would like. Overnight care would be the same as far as tending to the outlined instructions. Since it is overnight, if there is a certain nighttime routine it would be accomplished. Before I left I would also make sure I have picked up and cleaned up behind myself (ie. fluffing pillow cushions, throwing away trash, washing dishes, etc) In my home Care would be the same as listed above. I do not have a fenced in yard, however, there is plenty of walking space for them to enjoy being outside. I do have a yard if they just need to potty but not go on a long walk.
Information Marissa B. would like to know about your pet
I want to ensure your animal receives the best care, and to do that it is helpful to know about any medical needs and/or specialty services your pets might need.
A typical day
In my experience many dogs enjoy chasing bubbles so I do have non toxic bubbles for dogs to play with outside, as well as stimulating play (ie. walks, fetch, tug-of-war). As for cats, I can play with them however they enjoy (ie. feathers on a stick, fetch). If there is a certain stimulating activity your pet enjoys, I am up for entertaining through that avenue as well. No matter the form of play, I am always mindful and check in with the pet to see if they want to continue playing or are done.

I love animals of all kinds!
Pet care experience
I have cared for many different animals over the years. This list includes cats, reptiles, fish, small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, and xl dogs. These animals have been my own as well as friend’s, family’s, and neighbor’s, as they knew I would tend to them with the utmost care. My specialties include working with deaf, blind, anxious and senior animals. My philosophy for caring for any animal is to respect their boundaries and help them feel the most comfort possible.
Cat care experience

Marissa also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
