“I have a high-energy 6-month-old Husky/German Shephard mix puppy who was alone for the first time. Gates did a great job making her feel comfortable while she was cared for. Loved the updates I got with every visit. I will definitely rebook when I need a sitter for Bingo in the future. Thanks again, Gates!!”

“Ava was awesome. She did everything we asked and offered to do more. She came at the time she said she would and sent lots of photos. She even got one of my cats, all of which are scared of other humans, to let her pet them. Will use Ava again in the future if she's still available. :)”

About: I’m an active college student who took care of my dog Oreo from the time she was a little energetic boxer puppy until her senior days. I have also taken care of and helped train my family’s two poodles (Loki and Pancake), our cockapoo (Elphaba), our late dachshund (Zoey), and my grandma’s King Charles spaniel (Gracie). I love dogs dearly, and being away from my dogs at college has been really hard, so I know what it’s like for dog parents to have to leave their best friends! I will help make sure your dogs feel loved and cared for while their parents are away. I am currently a college student, so I have very flexible hours. I am typically very available on Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends and would love to fill that time taking care of some sweet pups! I may also have some dog-walking availability on Tuesday afternoons as well. I am not currently accepting pets in my home as I live in my sorority house, but in clients’ home I will always be respectful and leave it better than I found it and prioritize the pet’s well-being and happiness over everything!
“As a Rover sitter myself, I want the highest quality of care for my own pets when I leave town. Katie exceeds all expectations! She’s timely, she’s a great communicator, and she truly loves your pets like her own. When you book with Katie, expect updates when she arrives at your place, lots of pictures/video while she’s at your home, and your pet’s needs to be well taken care of. Both my kitties and I love her, and will continue to book with her for as long as we can!”

About: I got my first puppy at 9 years old and started learning from there responsibly and caring for animals well. I had many other animals growing up, consisting of cats, 5 Dogs, an exotic bird, and even a goat at a time! I love every animal and my dream job is to care for them. My work days are short so I spend lots of time at home with my pups and kitten. However I’ve been looking into a second job and this fits perfectly into my schedule and I absolutely love taking care of animals! I own my townhome and have a designated gated area in my neighborhood for dogs to play and run around and play. I enjoy taking my dogs on walks when it’s time to go outside and I don’t mind doing the same for someone else.

“Did a fantastic job checking in on our pups! Would send photos daily and message with in questions or concerns. Always responded promptly. Will definitely use Kristin again in the future.”

“She did such a great job checking in on my cats! I could tell they were well cared for and comfortable while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Faith went above and beyond when watching my cat. I gave her bad instructions about our door and she worked with me while I was out of town to rectify it. She was very patient and willing to do whatever it took to ensure my cat got the care and attention needed. Great experience!”

“Ashly was great with my cats! Even my extremely shy one came out and ate with her. Came home to happy cats and a clean litter box. I recommend her and will definitely hire again for future trips!”

“Allissa is the absolute best. She took great care of my cat while I was away. She was professional, provided regular updates, and gave me peace of mind the entire time. She is very trustworthy and genuinely kind. My cat really liked her. I would recommend her and book with her again.”

“We used Rover.com for the first time over the Christmas holiday. We needed someone to care for our cat, Cabernet, once a day in our home while we were out of town. We were fortunate enough to get Kelsey J. for our person! The first time meeting her we knew she would do a great job and she didn’t disappoint. Each day she would send us pictures so we could see he was just fine. Kelsey was thorough, trustworthy, and did an outstanding job. Any time we need a cat sitter again, she will be the one we request and will hope she’s available! We thank Kelsey and thank Rover for providing such a valuable service. We appreciate it so much!”
