I am currently a graduate student at Oklahoma State, and I have a very flexible schedule. My classes and meetings are typically in the mornings, so I am free most weekday afternoons/evenings and on the weekends! I am also available most weekday mornings during the summer months.

I have two dogs of my own in my home, and I would be open to taking in other dogs for play dates after supervised visits! Generally, I would be more available for drop-ins and walks at a client’s home, but I also have a hard bottom backseat extender for dogs if you’d want me to take your dog(s) to a park!

Please let me know if your dog(s) has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of. I have spent a lot of time working with rescue dogs so I am comfortable handling most situations, but always like to be aware of things beforehand when possible!
A typical day
Aside from taking your dog(s) on walks, I love to play fetch. With permission, I would take them to the dog park, and take them for walks at Boomer Lake!

Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life around animals of all sizes, and have yet to meet one I didn’t love! I have a huge place in my heart for all animals, and have had experience house sitting and dog walking for others. Additionally, I spent a few months helping care for and train the puppies and dogs at the Trail of Hope Animal Rescue, so I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and sizes. I currently have two dogs of my own, and I fully understand the need for an extra helping hand when it comes to taking care of fur babies!

Shelby is fantastic! I am so glad we found her. My babies came home clean. She washed all their blankets and food bowls. She sent me pictures and updates on them daily. I did not have to worry about them while she had them. Will definitely reach out to her again for care.
She was so welcoming and kept me updated throughout the entire stay, would recommend!!
Shelby has watched my dog while I was on vacation multiple times, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it! I am very particular about who I trust my puppy with and she made sure to follow every detail I left. But most importantly, my dog loves her too!!
10/10 would recommend! Shelby loves animals of all shapes and sizes! Incredibly patient and caring! I don’t leave my fur baby with many people but I wouldn’t think twice if it’s Shelby!
