I am currently a graduate student at Oklahoma State, and I have a very flexible schedule. My classes and meetings are typically in the mornings, so I am free most weekday afternoons/evenings and on the weekends! I am also available most weekday mornings during the summer months.

I have two dogs of my own in my home, and they both love to play with other dogs! Generally, I would keep boarded dogs at my home and in my yard, but I also have a hard bottom backseat extender for dogs if you’d want me to take your dog(s) to a park!

Please let me know if your dog(s) has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of. I have spent a lot of time working with rescue dogs so I am comfortable handling most situations, but always like to be aware of things beforehand when possible!
A typical day
Aside from taking your dog(s) on walks, I love to play fetch. With permission, I would take them to the dog park, and take them for walks at Boomer Lake!

Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life around animals of all sizes, and have yet to meet one I didn’t love! I have a huge place in my heart for all animals, and have had experience house sitting and dog walking for others. Additionally, I spent a few months helping care for and train the puppies and dogs at the Trail of Hope Animal Rescue, so I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and sizes. I currently have two dogs of my own, and I fully understand the need for an extra helping hand when it comes to taking care of fur babies!

This was our first time using Shelby and she was excellent! She kept us updated and sent pics of our happy pup. Also has a nice, grassy backyard so your dog doesn’t return a dirty mess. Will definitely be booking Shelby on our next trip.
We had never used a dog sitter before that wasn’t family, so we weren’t sure how our girls would do. Shelby made sure both us and the dogs had everything needed to be comfortable. We couldn’t have trusted our girls with someone better!
Shelby was awesome with my dogs, timely, friendly, and communicative! she left detailed reports with several pictures on each drop in. 10/10 recommend and if we need another sitter, i will definitely use her again :)
My dog, VeeZee, had a wonderful time staying with Shelby. He came home happy and looked good. Shelby was great to send us pics and very responsive to messaging. Highly recommend!
