The perfect pal for your pup!
I have spent my entire life around animals of all sizes, and have yet to meet one I didn’t love! I have a huge place in my heart for all animals, and have had experience house sitting and dog walking for others. Additionally, I spent a few months helping care for and train the puppies and dogs at the Trail of Hope Animal Rescue, so I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and sizes. I currently have two dogs of my own, and I fully understand the need for an extra helping hand when it comes to taking care of fur babies!

My dog, VeeZee, had a wonderful time staying with Shelby. He came home happy and looked good. Shelby was great to send us pics and very responsive to messaging. Highly recommend!
Shelby is fantastic! I am so glad we found her. My babies came home clean. She washed all their blankets and food bowls. She sent me pictures and updates on them daily. I did not have to worry about them while she had them. Will definitely reach out to her again for care.
She was so welcoming and kept me updated throughout the entire stay, would recommend!!
Shelby has watched my dog while I was on vacation multiple times, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it! I am very particular about who I trust my puppy with and she made sure to follow every detail I left. But most importantly, my dog loves her too!!

Shelby is an amazing caretaker, no matter what type of creature she’s looking after; dogs naturally love her. She’s patient with nervous pets and experienced with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Because she grew up on a farm, she’s naturally comfortable around animals and can confidently help with any medical needs your fur baby may have.

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student at Oklahoma State, and I have a very flexible schedule. My classes and meetings are typically in the mornings, so I am free most weekday afternoons/evenings and on the weekends! I am also available most weekday mornings during the summer months.

I have two dogs of my own in my home, and they both love to play with other dogs! Generally, I would keep boarded dogs at my home and in my yard, but I also have a hard bottom backseat extender for dogs if you’d want me to take your dog(s) to a park!

A typical day
Aside from taking your dog(s) on walks, I love to play fetch. With permission, I would take them to the dog park, and take them for walks at Boomer Lake!
