About: I’ve owned and cared for animals for the past 19 years. I have most experience with small breed dogs. I’ve worked for a similar service and kept dogs, cats and bunnies in my home before. Each animal that I care for is like my own pet. We keep them secure in a fenced yard for dogs (other pets we can provide a quiet space for when needed). We have space inside and have set up a rabbit fencing area with cage. Your pets will be safe and happy while they board with us! I am currently a home school mom with 3 children ages 4-9. My oldest child helps care for pets as well with playing, feeding and walking pets. We can care for pets Monday thru Saturday if needed. We have a female puppy who is active and ready to play with your furbaby. We can also crate and provide a quiet space for your fur kid as well. You do not need to provide a crate unless you have multiple pets and want them to be separated. Visiting clients home will include a lot of love and care with treats (if allowed in their diet). My 8 year old daughter loves to help walk dogs and play with animals of all kinds.

“X is great with Atticus and he looks forward to his walk. She keeps us notified of long term changes far in advance and stays in contact with us. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone who needs her services.”

About: I've cared for a wide range of animals in my life; but mostly cats and dogs. I've grown up taking care of cats and dogs and I find it very easy and fun to work with them. I've raised kittens and puppies, as well as elderly animals. I have no issues with feeding, walking, or cleaning up after any animal. During the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, I have some time off from college and want to spend that extra time interacting with pets! I can work every day of the week and the weekend and can also do overnight care. I have a very reactive dog at my house that can be hard to control, but I'm able to get him on walks without escaping my grip. I'm stronger than I look! But I also treat animals with the utmost respect and kindness. I don't believe in negative reinforcement and I will treat your pet like royalty!

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years, and it’s truly something I love. From dogs and puppies to senior pets with special needs, I’ve provided everything from daily walks and feedings to overnight stays and medication management. I currently have a young Doberman, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet’s routine, energy levels, and emotional well-being. Whether your pet needs structured exercise, calm companionship, or just someone reliable while you’re away, I bring a responsible, loving approach to every animal I care for. I have a flexible schedule and a comfortable home in Raleigh where pets can feel safe, loved, and well looked after. I work from home, so I’m available almost around the clock to care for your pet’s needs. Your dog will also enjoy supervised playtime in my fenced backyard, giving them a safe and fun space to get their energy out! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, pet-friendly home in Raleigh with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel secure. My home is fully dog-proofed, and I supervise all pets closely especially during feedings, playtime, and outdoor breaks. With over 10 years of pet care experience, I know how to read body language, manage energy levels, and create a calm environment where every pet feels at ease. I treat each animal like family and follow your care instructions closely to maintain consistency and build trust with your pet. Whether it’s giving extra attention to shy dogs or ensuring high-energy pups get the exercise they need, I’m committed to making sure your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands at all times.

About: I have a kitten of my own who I take care of. I have always owned cats and dogs growing up. Additionally, I have assisted in watching my friends and family members pets ever since middle school! I have experience with walking, feeding, bathing, litter box cleaning, shedding maintenance, nail trimmings, and basic first aid/medication handling such as cleaning and caring for minor wounds along with giving oral, topical, and/or ophthalmic medications. This experience came from helping with friends/family members pets as well as my own. As for house-sitting, I have experience with watering, harvesting, and pruning plants. I take care of my own succulents and help with my mother's garden. I also will take care of basic household responsibilities such as retrieving mail, taking out the trash, and I always clean up after myself. I am a college student and volunteer to help coach my high school cheer team. My schedule is quite flexible though. My max time away from your pet would be 4 hours and I am able to spend some time with your pet every morning, afternoon, and evening each day. I am also available for overnight care any day of the week. I abide by any and all instructions given by the pet/home owner. I love animals and I am very caring. I respect the home and treat it better than I would my own. Same goes for your pets!

“Kelsey is a star! She is so good with our Rosie. Always considerate and kind with Rosie. Great communication - truly goes above and beyond. Thank you Kelsey! 👏👏👏🐶❤️🍀”

About: I’ve had hands-on experience with pets since I was a young teenager. I used to dog sit for neighbors and friends when I was younger. My family has always had dogs, cats, and fish in our home. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. I took my love of pets with me to work when I decided to work at PetSmart for my first job. I worked at PetSmart for over 2 years and learned all about how to care for not only dogs and cats, but all kinds of exotic animals (small mammals, reptiles, birds, and fish.) I also learned how to administer oral medications and care for sick or injured pets. In my spare time I volunteer at SAFE Haven for Cats, a nonprofit cat shelter. I currently work part-time, so I'm often free for overnight house sitting, as well as drop-in visits throughout the day. On my days off, I can stay at your home all day. Even on days when I work, I can still take care of your fur babies as long as they're okay being left alone for 6-8 hours. I try to always keep my calendar up to date to reflect my current availability! I've learned how to read a pet’s body language and respond in the best way for each pet to feel safe, secure, and calm. Every pet is different, so I'm prepared to learn the ins and outs of your pets so that I can provide the best level of care for them. I'm able to provide oral medications, special feeding needs, and any other requests that you may have for your pet to make sure they are as comfortable as possible with me.

About: I’ve had animals ever since I was 2 but I had to give up my German Shepherd and Yorkie due to sports. So now I have my best friend, and aunts dog I play with and can keep when I have time . On Sundays I have church so I won’t be able to pupsit. On Saturday I’m free most of the day and the weekdays. I am also a part time babysitter! I make sure the Dog is well fed. I play with them like play toss and tug-a-war. I make sure to walk them as needed and I show my animals lots of love and care!

About: My name is Chelsea, and I'd love to care for your furry family members! I'm an active, trustworthy sitter who has always loved animals! I grew up with pets (dogs & cats) and have experience volunteering with the Humane Society; where I have adopted and fostered multiple dogs. I enjoy helping others and love being around animals. I offer a modest, yet spacious apartment with lots of outdoor space within a gated community; equipped with a dog park and walking distance to multiple parks and trails. I enjoy going for long walks/hikes and enjoy all breeds. I have a 5-year old lab mix, who is very sweet and LOVES playing with others. I work remotely fulltime, so am available all-day for walks, snuggles, and playtime. You can expect that your pet will be actively cared for and loved like they are my own. :) I have an apartment with one other dog, Pudge, who loves playing with other animals. My apartment is in close proximity to multiple parks, trails, and beaches. I'm happy to administer any medications as needed and can offer training!

About: Growing up I’ve been around a lot of animals ranging from small furry rodents to large dog breeds such as Great Pyrenees and mastiffs. I’m very comfortable walking large breeds. Walks are an essential part of my day and bringing a furry friend along is a bonus. Have an energetic dog that needs to be run? I can do that too! For daycare or boarding, dogs have a huge fenced in backyard surrounded by trees to run and play. Dogs are not left alone for more than 2 hours at a time since I work from home! Happy to drop in for cats as well and give them lots of pets and refresh their water and food. I work from home and work a 9-5 but I can sneak away at various times to care for your beloved pets. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat so as long as your dog gets along with my animals you can drop them off here for the day or for boarding. My animals are incredibly spoiled and they sleep in bed with us. They get to go outside every hour and run around the fenced in backyard. We take them for long walks or on adventures to local parks. If your animal is crate trained they will not be in the crate for more than 2 hours on any day or overnight only of that is their normal sleeping arrangement.

About: I’ve recently lost my dog of 12 years. I’m looking to occupy the free time I’ve been given with a furry companion! I’m good with cats and dogs! I do not discriminate, both will be treated with love & care! I’m home 24/7, so your dog will be able to receive as many pets, walks & love as possible! I’m great when it comes to grooming, your dog needs to be brushed for hours? No problem! I’m great with energetic dogs or cats as well! I love a great play date. I’m huge on customizing every dogs stay differently! No dog is alike! I usually spend the first day figuring out what each dog likes! We play with different toys & try different activities! I also don’t mind taking the dogs to dog parks or on long walks. Dogs I’ve had so far in total : 23 I have plenty of free time! I’m open Monday- Sunday from 11am-12am! If you need to drop off your pet sooner just let me know! I do same day bookings as well I have an open field by my house for your pets to play in! Plenty of space inside the home for any size dog or cat. Whatever accommodations you’ll need for your pet, I’ll be happy to do! If your animal is crate trained, all I ask is that you bring the crate as well!

About: I have always grown up with dogs and have loved them since I was little. I have two dogs at home - a 6 year old Maltipoo and a 2 year old Pitbull so I definitely have daily variety to work with. I am always taking care of the family dogs as well. If we were at a party - I would definitely be the one with the dog! 😊 I’ll care for your pup as much as I would my own, I have lots of patience with all types of personalities and understand their different needs. I look forward to meeting your furbaby! I mostly work from home so my overall availability can be flexible which means I’ll be able to pop in on your fur-baby whenever you need me to! I treat your fur-baby the way I would want someone to treat mine - with patience, love, respect and lots of snuggles! I can accommodate to any needs such as slower or faster walks, medications, special cleaning or anything your pet may need to feel comfortable with me.

Southeast dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alicia did a fantastic job with my dogs! They are both deaf and not an easy pair to walk. She was very communicative and showed up when she said she would. My biggest fear was that my house would be ruined upon returning, but with her frequent visits and love for my dogs, I came home to my house just as I left it. I will definitely be reaching back out to her in the future!!
