About: Hello Pet Parents! I'm available for pet sitting, dog walking, and house/plant sitting on a one-time or recurring basis; I am available for boarding only if your pets are dog-friendly & potty trained. Certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid for cats + dogs, fully insured by PCI, and experienced with my own 3-legged 11yo rescue dog's medical needs, I am prepared for any emergency situation life may throw our way. I always travel with a first aid kit for pets (and humans too). I have no problem carefully administering food and medicine (including insulin injections) alongside other care for senior and special needs animals. I am local to Cross River (where I was raised) and can travel up to 12 miles from 10518. I can do overnight stays but cannot be present in the home 24/7, as I have my own dog to feed and walk as well. I only host pets in my own home if they are dog-friendly and potty trained. I will always make sure to leave the home leashed (unless going into fenced in area) and ensure your pet gets back home safely & happily.

About: I recently moved in to the area and I am a student at Roger Williams University studying Communications and Media Studies. I have looked after many neighbors and friends dogs over the last 8 years. I even had 2 dogs of my own and I am ready to give you dog my full and undivided attention. About: I only accept small dogs up to 30 pounds for boarding and daycare. I love taking care of the small pups and they fit right into our pack of 2 Boston terriers and a pug! I have taken care of dogs and various other pets my whole adult life. I believe trust is the most important thing when it comes to leaving your pets with a sitter and I can assure you I will treat your pets like I would my own, with love and respect. Your dog will be staying in a family style boarding situation, where they get the love and attention from myself, my husband and our 2 children (7 and 10) who adore helping out with all the pups. We have a large fenced in back yard for lots of supervised running, playing and sniffing! I am trained in obedience training and can provide puppy socialization. Please reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a meeting! Boarding is always available. I am available weekdays after 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for walks, drop ins, puppy socialization or obedience training. I am fully available on the weekends for boarding, walking, drop-ins, puppy socialization and obedience training. I have 3 extremely friendly small dogs for your fur baby to play with or relax with. I strive to make the dogs that stay here comfortable and as stress free as possible.

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day that's necessary. I have two dogs of my own and my day heavily incorporates them into it. I made a concerted effort to do the same thing whenever I took care of foster dogs. Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. If there is a situation where your pup gets along with mine then it would be fine for them to hang out with us during the day if that's preferred for some company. Otherwise, we are able to separate my dogs and keep them upstairs while I care for your pup downstairs. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
