About: I've been around dogs my entire life — in 28 years, there have only been 7 days I've lived without one! I grew up in a home with five dogs, including four Bernese Mountain Dogs and a Sheltie. My family also responsibly bred Berners and Shelties, and I grew up around training, proper care, and learning to understand each dog's individual personality. Today, my own dog is still a huge part of my life. I also prepare homemade food for my dog and have learned a lot through that experience about paying attention to ingredients, sensitivities, age, energy levels, and individual needs. If your dog has a unique routine, dietary preferences, or special considerations, I'm happy to listen and follow the routine you've established for them. I'm comfortable with dogs of different ages, personalities, routines, and needs, and I believe patience and consistency go a long way. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I treat every dog like they're part of the family — with plenty of attention, patience, playtime, and care while you're away. 🐾 Pets are already a big part of my everyday life. I have always had dogs and currently have three cats of my own, so feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, and keeping up with their routines are naturally part of my day. I’m also intentional about making time for the pets I care for. I’d rather give a pet my full attention than simply “check a box” and leave. I’m happy to work around their normal routine and give them the consistency they’re used to while their family is away. 🐾 I start by learning your pet’s normal routine — feeding times, walks, medications, favorite activities, boundaries, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. Then I stick to those instructions as closely as possible. I believe good pet care is about paying attention to the little things. I watch for changes in appetite, energy, behavior, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice something worth knowing about. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable, not like their routine has suddenly been turned upside down. Whether they want a long walk and lots of playtime or prefer to curl up somewhere quiet, I’ll meet them where they are. 🐶🐱

About: I've been caring for animals for over 25 years, from mice and rabbits to horses and dogs of all sizes. I'm the proud owner of an Akita named Yoshi, so I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including strong breeds. Working in healthcare has taught me to be dependable, attentive, and calm under pressure. Whether your dog is here for boarding, a walk, or a drop-in visit, they'll be treated like family with plenty of love, exercise, and personalized care. I am also experienced with senior dogs and giving medication. I work from home two days a week, giving me extra time to spend with the pets in my care. I'm available on Sundays for walks and drop-in visits, and I'm home most weekends for boarding. Need an evening walk between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.? Or a one time weekday overnight between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. ? Send me a message—I may be able to fit you in even if my availability appears closed. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only care for one client's pets at a time to provide individualized attention. My friendly Akita, Yoshi, can interact with social dogs or be kept completely separate if needed. I have a spare bedroom, crates available upon request, and a calm, clean environment where your pet can feel at home. I'll also provide regular photo updates for your peace of mind.

Crate Availability: I have a crate on hand if your pup prefers a secure den for sleeping or downtime. I am the proud owner of two energetic Siberian Huskies, Skyler and Dexter. They love making new friends! I regularly host boarding and daycare guests for family and friends. Every visiting dog has gotten along wonderfully with my pack. Guest Dog Requirements: To ensure a safe, harmonious, and fun environment for everyone, I only accept guest dogs that meet the following criteria: Size: Medium, large, and giant breeds only (no small breeds, as my huskies are large and high-energy). Health: All dogs must be spayed or neutered. I am at home full time and available for consistent supervision. I also have other family members available to help entertain and provide company to the dogs on evenings and weekends. I have both a fenced in yard and several baby gates throughout the house. The gates are situated in a way that blocks immediate access to the garage and front door in the event of one of the dogs being an escape artist. I have a large crate for dogs who prefer more of a den space for breaks, however our dogs can and do sleep on various couches, chairs, and beds throughout the house. I also have dog beds and cooling mats available for rest time.

I currently have two dogs — a male black Lab and a female Springer Spaniel — I personally potty trained my Springer and taught both dogs general obedience. I also have experience safely introducing new cats to other cats and to dogs, and I understand the importance of slow, structured transitions. I’m attentive to body language, routines, and each pet’s unique personality. Whether your pet needs structure, playtime, or cuddles, I treat every animal like my own — with patience, consistency, and lots of love. 🐾💛 I am available to assist with walks or potty breaks on weeknights after I get off work around 5pm. I have more open availability on the weekends, as I am off of work from my regular job. On weekends, I can also assist with overnights at my house on Friday and Saturday or hosting during the day. I provide a safe, loving home environment for your pet while you’re away! We have a fully fenced yard (4-5ishft) for supervised play and hardwood floors for easy cleanup. I have a gentle five-year-old daughter who is very comfortable around animals, and my husband. We have two dogs: a male black lab (not neutered) and a female springer spaniel (spayed). If your pet prefers their own space, my dogs can be kenneled in our finished basement, and kept separate to ensure everyone is comfortable. Pets are welcome to snuggle on the furniture or use a cozy pet bed. I provide food and water bowls — you just supply the food. My goal is to make your pet feel right at home!
