About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life. Live near Grant Park for great dog walks, fenced in yard. I have an elderly greyhound who vibes best with other calm dogs. I work remotely and am home throughout the day. Happy to care for your dog for boarding or doggy day care - calm home setup for dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard that dogs love to run around, a close walk to Grant Park for getting outside, and I’m home throughout the day for continuous care.

In the past, I have done dental cleaning on cats & dogs, very satisfying. I’m experienced with administering medication, injection, insulin, etc. I have a genuine love for animals. I’m a professional trusted and long term sitter for my clients. I’m reliable, flexible, and qualified. I have a lot of knowledge for companion animals that I will love to teach my clients. I'm super loving, energetic and calm. I trained service dogs in training while I was in college. I do have the ability to recognize behavioral signals. About: Growing up my family owned a welsh springer spaniel. He was one of my best friends. I felt the same excitement he did when I walked in our front door to his excited jumping. After 13 years, he passed away of old age. Since then I have wanted to get a dog of my own, but I’m waiting until my husband and I get a house to take that step. In the meantime, I love caring for other family dogs. This is a super fun side job for me. I love all types of dogs, have experience with senior dogs, and am happy to care for more than one pet from the same home (whether they be cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, etc.). If your dog is nervous around new people, I will make sure to give them the care, attention, and space that they need. I always give frequent potty breaks, feed them at their regular time, and am very careful around doorways (so no one runs off on any solo adventures!). I always do an initial home visit with my husband so I can meet your pets before setting up a first booking with a new customer. I send great picture updates, so hopefully you won’t miss your dog too much. You will undoubtedly love how passionate I am about keeping your pet in a safe, loving environment while you are away. I am currently working as an 8th grade teacher. I am able to get to your home between the hours of 4pm-10pm on weeknights. I am available all day on Saturdays. I am available Sundays after 10:30am. I am available to do home visits to feed your pets, groom with a brush/bath, play their favorite games, go on long walks or runs, and spend the night if you need a house sitter. I can also take care of other pets including cats, hamsters, fish, chickens, etc. If you need someone to water plants while you are away, I can take care of that too!

I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.
