“Kim was awesome with Tito. I felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her. She kept us updated about his day and responded quickly to my questions. I would not hesitate to use her service again. Thanks Kim!”

About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. Animals are my true passion. I am home full time and therefore your pup will receive constant supervision, companionship, and love throughout the day. This schedule is ideal for dogs who need frequent potty breaks or extra reassurance. I am highly experienced and comfortable managing specific behavioral and medical conditions, including: Separation Anxiety: I provide patience, soothing routines, and consistent companionship to ease anxious pups. Medical Needs: I am fully comfortable administering medications and maintaining strict health schedules. Your pet will receive attentive, expert care tailored to their exact comfort level. 🏡 Fully Equipped, Pet-Friendly Home Your dog will enjoy a secure, comfortable environment. My home features: Fenced Yard: A spacious, secure area for safe outdoor playtime and exercise. Safety Gates: Baby gates throughout the house to manage boundaries or separate dogs if necessary. Crate Availability: I have a crate on hand if your pup prefers a secure den for sleeping or downtime. I am the proud owner of two energetic Siberian Huskies, Skyler and Dexter. They love making new friends! I regularly host boarding and daycare guests for family and friends. Every visiting dog has gotten along wonderfully with my pack. Guest Dog Requirements: To ensure a safe, harmonious, and fun environment for everyone, I only accept guest dogs that meet the following criteria: Size: Medium, large, and giant breeds only (no small breeds, as my huskies are large and high-energy). Health: All dogs must be spayed or neutered. I am at home full time and available for consistent supervision. I can provide regular potty breaks as well as supervised playtime in our outdoor fenced yard, weather permitting. I have both a fenced in yard and several baby gates throughout the house. The gates are situated in a way that blocks immediate access to the garage and front door in the event of one of the dogs being an escape artist. I have a large crate for dogs who prefer more of a den space for breaks, however my dogs can and do sleep on various couches, chairs, and beds throughout the house. I also have dog beds and cooling mats available for rest time.
“This was my first time using Rover and I could not be happier! Dawn and her husband were wonderful sitters. My dog, Jax, was obviously comfortable within minutes of walking in the house. Through out his stay Dawn would send pictures so I could see for myself how ‘chilled’ Jax was. I highly recommend Dawn and would definitely leave Jax in her care again.”
“We had Kristi watch our dog, Roxie, for a few days. It takes Roxie some time to warm up to new places and people. When Roxie wasn’t eating much, Kristi gave her some extra treats and tried some other foods to get her to eat a bit more, which I appreciated. We will use Kristi again!”

“Elba saved the day when I needed a pet sitter last minute. She took great care of my Schatzi. Elba sent me pictures of Schatzi when I was away. Unfortunately, I had no Wifi where I was staying at but still it was nice to open the text with pictures of her having fun. I won’t hesitate to use Elba’s services in the future.”

“Zachary was very helpful with our dog Otis. He was responsive and asked questions when needed. We felt Otis was in great hands with Zachary. Will use him again!”

“Thank you, Mary and family, for letting Bud stay with you! The pictures of him with all the visiting pups were great to see! Lots of familiar friends and lots of love from you and your family. Bud and I love all of you and appreciate how awesome you are to us! Just like an extended family.”

“Ashlee took great care of my 1-year old pup. He had fun playing with her dogs, and she was willing to take him at the last minute. She is very friendly and responsive.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
