My husband and I have two English Cream Retrievers and we love them more than anything in the world! My husband and I are both Firefighter/Paramedics, and know first-hand how difficult and anxiety provoking finding a reliable pet sitter can be. I am committed to walking your furry friend when needed, dropping in to visit them while you are away for the day, and we are open to hosting your furry friend in our home if you need extended care. We have a small, fenced in backyard where your furry friends can play with ours, and we live near the lake so extended walks are always available!! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you and your fur-babies!! I am a Firefighter/Paramedic and work a rotating schedule. I know my schedule in advance, so scheduling should not be an issue! If we are boarding your dog in our home, someone is almost always home between my husband and I! We also walk our own dogs daily, so we are used to daily walks and exercise! If your fur-baby is spending time at my house, I have two very loving and playful doggos that can keep your dog company! I live near the lake, so there are plenty of places to walk and explore! I am also willing to take your dog to the dog park at Pets Park if that is something your dog would like! I am very active, so long walks/runs are not an issue!

About: As a dog lover my whole life, I wasn't able to get one of my own until a year and a half ago. Having our golden retriever Tommy has completely changed my life for the better! I absolutely love dogs of all kinds and enjoy being outdoors and playing with them. I work full time remotely, so I am extremely available and flexible to your schedule. I can accommodate any needs and have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and everywhere in between. Tommy has been professionally trained and gets along great with other dogs. We are able to keep dogs in our apartment if needed, and have lots of parks and sidewalks near by for exercise. I currently work from home full time, so I am very flexible for your pets needs. I currently keep our golden retriever active (as he very much needs it!) and would love to add another dog to the bunch if needed. I live in an apartment but have lots of access to local parks and walking trails. I am available for drop-in visits and walks as well.

“I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I was sick to my stomach worrying about what we were going to do with Daisy during my daughter's wedding. We were staying overnight by the venue so I needed someone to take her until the next day. Sadly, Daisy has epilepsy and needs medication twice a day so I can't just take her anywhere. I was also concerned that the stress could trigger a seizure. Samantha wad great at putting my mind at ease. Her veterinary background made me feel so much better about it and she sent pictures and videos, too. Daisy is in love with Caliber and played the entire time. She slept for 2 days after she came home! If I need a sitter in the future, We will go back to Samantha, for sure!”

“This is the second time Wolfie stayed with Kim while we visited Great Wolf Lodge. Although he is nervous and doesn't like strangers, he had an easy time warming up to Kim. She sent us many updates of them going on walks, enjoying her outdoor area, and (his lap dog favorite) keeping close while she worked. When he wouldn't eat his usual dog food, she prepared him special food (with our blessing). We always knew he was in excellent hands and will be back for another visit if we head to Great Wolf Lodge or Great America!”
