About: I have 15 plus year of experience caring for pets! I am also a current foster for our local humane society. Willing to clean yard/litter pans and administer medications. I have very flexible availability and am looking to stay busy! I have time during the day and most evenings to walk and care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard and my pets get free roam of our house. While caring for your pet, I will treat them as one of my own. They will get lots of snuggles!
“Chucho had such a great stay with Diamond. He is a senior dog with many needs. He also needed multiple medications. Diamond was great following the care indications we provided and made sure he felt comfy and warm during this cold weather.”
“Rachel is great! She will love yours as her own. Stays updated and sends pics of your fur babies. Sets up a meet and greet which is wonderful so you know you’re in good hands. Definitely recommend and will definitely use her services again!”

“Tony was great with Archie. He sent photos and videos which I really liked to see. Archie looked like he really enjoyed himself. Would highly recommend Tony. Thanks again for having Archie in your home”

“Wow! When we picked her up after her first night with Blythe our spoiled pup Stella acted like we could go ahead and leave without her - she felt super AT HOME. We couldn't be happier to have found you, Blythe. Thanks for the excellent care of our fur baby!”

About: Hi there! My name is Jamie and I am a very active dog lover!! I love taking dogs for walks and runs, playing fetch, playing tug-of-war, and playing any other kinds of games that your dog may enjoy! I have 3 years of paid experience in caring for both dogs and cats. I love spending time with furry friends and will make sure that I take care of your pet as if it were my own! My husband and I have two English Cream Retrievers and we love them more than anything in the world! I know that puppies, dogs, and all other animals require a lot of time and attention, and I am more than willing to provide the care that they need! My husband and I are both Firefighter/Paramedics, and know first-hand how difficult and anxiety provoking finding a reliable pet sitter can be. I am committed to walking your furry friend when needed, dropping in to visit them while you are away for the day, and we are open to hosting your furry friend in our home if you need extended care. We have a small, fenced in backyard where your furry friends can play with ours, and we live near the lake so extended walks are always available!! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you and your fur-babies!! I am a Firefighter/Paramedic and work a rotating schedule. I know my schedule in advance, so scheduling should not be an issue! If we are boarding your dog in our home, someone is almost always home between my husband and I! We also walk our own dogs daily, so we are used to daily walks and exercise! If your fur-baby is spending time at my house, I have two very loving and playful doggos that can keep your dog company! I live near the lake, so there are plenty of places to walk and explore! I am also willing to take your dog to the dog park at Pets Park if that is something your dog would like! I am very active, so long walks/runs are not an issue!
“Debbie took great care of our dog, she took her on so many adventures and checked in with pictures! She also handled our dog’s medications without issues. Definitely will book her next time we need a dog sitter!”

“Kim is great. She did an amazing job making Jax feel at home, as well as giving me the peace of mind knowing he was being well taken care of. She sent plenty of updates, pictures, and videos throughout his stay. I could tell he was having fun. She even shared some useful training tips that I plan to use. Jax is definitely looking forward to seeing her again.”

“We had Kristi watch our dog, Roxie, for a few days. It takes Roxie some time to warm up to new places and people. When Roxie wasn’t eating much, Kristi gave her some extra treats and tried some other foods to get her to eat a bit more, which I appreciated. We will use Kristi again!”

“Jody is one of the sweetest people I have met. She took care of my 13 year old schnauzer for a long weekend. She kept me updated with how Lucy was doing with texts and photos the whole time which made us feel so comfortable. We never worried. Also Lucy has a few extra requirements as she is 13, including a pill every day, needs to be carried outside and requires several potty breaks through the day. Jody had no trouble making sure Lucy had proper care. We’ll definitely be booking with Jody again in the future! Lucy was spoiled rotten! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Joseph was so kind as to take our Labrador very last minute. She is fearful of men in general, but immediately went with Joseph without any hesitation. Joseph sent us pictures of our dog playing with his dogs, which was awesome to see, as well as other updates that she was doing great. We already have plans for our dog to stay with Joseph again!!”

Melissa is absolutely the best!! I have used her services multiple times now and will continue to! She loves your fur babies as if they were her own!! She keeps you posted throughout their stay and sends pics. I know I can trust that my babies are well taken care of when I leave em with Melissa!! Her daughter is a huge fan which is an added bonus!! ♥️♥️

Tate is an incredible sitter! She was very responsive and accommodating to us with a couple of problem situations that came up during Jezi's stay. She seems to have an intuition on just what a doggie needs in order to feel safe and calm. She sent pictures and updates throughout on their various activities. She was snuggly and loving and concerned with my dog's happiness and my peace of mind! I very highly recommend Tate!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
