She helped me troubleshoot getting rid of uninvited guests to the food bowls, volunteered to come for extra visits when the need arose, washed out the wet food cans before throwing in the recyclable bin and she kept the house, the floors, the litter boxes and the food bowls spic-and-span. About: I have one dog and one cat that tend to stay upstairs. I absolutely love animals, So I hope to have my own little hobby farm one day. If your pet is in my home, please know they’ll always feel loved, safe and most likely tired out from all out walks. I believe humans and animals benefit from exercise which helps with behavior, same for humans. So bring your pup to me, and they’ll be tired for you:) Also, I have a special place in my heart for special-needs animals that need a little extra love and patience. I have been doing dog-watching for the past four years, in addition to working part-time for 10 years. I work at a school right down the road, which is perfect for dog watching. I leave at 7am, and I’m back by 11am each day. I do boarding, play dates, pickups, drop-ins, and trips to the dog park. I have a fenced-in yard, so your dog may play, run, or simply get some fresh air. I spend my time walking dogs, feeding them, playing, cuddling, kisses, relaxing on the porch and constantly opening and closing the door so they can go outside. Ha! It’s my life, and I truly love it.

About: I am an active educator working with elementary aged students 10 months out of the year for the past sixteen years. However, I also have a special place in my heart for animals of all kinds. I have a particular interest and skillset working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments and have over 10 years of experience walking shelter dogs in my community. I have been passionate about dogs since I was a young girl, and when I finally got my own dog at the age of twelve, my desire to learn more about them and how to best care for them grew exponentially. Volunteering in the shelter environment, I have honed my skills in reading dog body language, creating safe walking environments, understanding and communicating health concerns, and handling boisterous, reactive, or fearful behaviors with calm kindness and care. Behavior is communication and I use my expertise as an educator to best care for and enrich the lives of the animals around me. I also adopted my own dog as adult from the humane society in 2018, who came with her own unique personality and behaviors such as reactivity, anxiety, dog reactivity, low confidence, and over-excitable drive. Throughout our eight years together, we have developed a strong bond and communication style that has brought her to achieving her Canine Good Citizen Certificate, and become a calm, confident, well-balanced dog. She also has learned how to communicate with me through augmentative and alternative communication buttons and express her personality in words I can understand which has been mind blowing! I love giving her the best life possible and I’m excited to support you and your furry friend along that journey as well during our time working together. I’m currently an educator who works full-time 10 months out of the year, but am available evenings and weekends. However, during the months of June and July I am available during the mornings, afternoons, or evenings and have a flexible schedule to accommodate you and your pet’s specific needs. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to allow your dog time to run and play freely or just bask in the summer sunshine. My dog needs multiple, slow introductions to new dogs, so if you are in need of overnight care, additional meet and greet walks would be required to make sure they are a good fit together before any bookings.

About: I raised a Siberian Husky and a St. Bernard/ Shepard for about 5 years until I separated. I have I have had experiences with friendly giants like Great Dane and Mastiffs all the way down to littles like Frechies and also cats. I’ve also have experience working in a doggy daycares, overnight boarding daycares and an Emergency Vet Hospital. I’ve had hands on and off training from dog trainers while working. I currently live in Mount Pleasant. My daughter is 13 years old, also a gentle giant herself. She has a lot of experience with specifically dogs of large and medium sized. She is looking to make some extra money so she can go to Disney World with her choir group at the end of the year! If you and your pets are comfortable with my daughter assisting with walks and cares, you would be a big part of her milestone with her first job! If this isn’t something you’re comfortable with, that is still okay! I will come alone with the extra care and love I promised! Pet care fits into my schedule for mornings and nights. I work a 3-8pm schedule right now. Summer will change to 6am-11am. It also fits because my daughter loves the animals she cares for and she’s good at it, of course with supervision:) I love to spend my time with pets and my 12 year old daughter as she says “can we get a dog”, this would be a heart start for her! My pets weren’t really on a schedule. They were free fed because they are picky and spoiled. We went for walks whether it’s a short walk or a 35 min walk around the neighborhood because I did have high energy dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard so we do have a leash. They would get bathed about twice a month in my own home. Unfortunately, my husky had passed away so we are down to one.
