Before I care for your pet, it’s helpful to know their daily routine, energy level, and any medical or behavioral needs. Do they have favorite toys or triggers (like doorbells or other dogs)? Are there any allergies, medications, or special diets I should be aware of? I also like to know how they do on walks, how they react to strangers or other animals, and what helps them feel most comfortable when you’re away. The more I know, the better I can care for them just like you would.
A typical day
Each day starts with a morning potty break or litter box check, breakfast, and some play or cuddle time to ease into the day. For dogs, I usually take them on a walk or spend time in the yard, depending on their routine. I make sure they get their meals on time, stay hydrated, and get plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day. For cats, I refresh food, water, and litter, and spend time engaging with them through play or quiet companionship. I send regular updates and photos (when asked) and keep their routines as consistent and comforting as possible.
