About: I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes. I am willing to do whatever is needed to provide the best care for the animals, no matter their specific needs. I am currently in school, so I have a specific schedule, but I still have some time available. I am able to be flexible and make things work. About: I am an active educator working with elementary aged students 10 months out of the year for the past sixteen years. However, I also have a special place in my heart for animals of all kinds. I have a particular interest and skillset working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments and have over 10 years of experience walking shelter dogs in my community. I have been passionate about dogs since I was a young girl, and when I finally got my own dog at the age of twelve, my desire to learn more about them and how to best care for them grew exponentially. She also has learned how to communicate with me through augmentative and alternative communication buttons and express her personality in words I can understand which has been mind blowing! I love giving her the best life possible and I’m excited to support you and your furry friend along that journey as well during our time working together. I’m currently an educator who works full-time 10 months out of the year, but am available evenings and weekends. However, during the months of June and July I am available during the mornings, afternoons, or evenings and have a flexible schedule to accommodate you and your pet’s specific needs. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to allow your dog time to run and play freely or just bask in the summer sunshine. My dog needs multiple, slow introductions to new dogs, so if you are in need of overnight care, additional meet and greet walks would be required to make sure they are a good fit together before any bookings.

About: I have had all kinds of dogs & a cat since I was a kid; Schnauzers, Beagles, Pittie mixes, and a Chihuahua. My girlfriend & I currently have a 10 year old pitty named Cannoli, a son to be 2 year old pitty- Great Pyrenees named Carl and 2 12 year old chihuahuas named Tyson and Felix. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and play with their pets while they are away. Kaylee was amazing with our pups! We have two big, very hyper dogs. She was not fazed by them at all, she showed them love from the beginning. This was our first time having someone other than family check in on our pups while we were away. I was very hesitant. Pete was Awesome!!! Fist off, my dogs are rescues. They have idiosyncrasies (lol). Taffy puts up defences when meeting new people. So much so, that two prior interviewees turned down the offer. Peter, who is a gentle giant, won her over during the interview. Not with his giantness, but his amazing gentleness. Usually it takes some time for Taffy to trust someone, but she found something in Peter to trust right away! The rest of the week went incredibly smoothly. I got texts every evening (he offered photos but i declined). Both Tanka and Taffy assumed "Belly Rub" positions once Peter arrived. I heard such great reports that when I got home, I had to tearfully sit down with them and ask if they would rather go and live with Peter. Just kidding, I couldn't ask that question for fear of the answer!! When I came home, my doges were normal. Not filled with fear, anxiety, depression or anything that separation might cause.
