About: I have had all kinds of dogs & a cat since I was a kid; Schnauzers, Beagles, Pittie mixes, and a Chihuahua. My girlfriend & I currently have a 10 year old pitty named Cannoli, a son to be 2 year old pitty- Great Pyrenees named Carl and 2 12 year old chihuahuas named Tyson and Felix. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and play with their pets while they are away. I am currently available during the week Monday-Friday 10am-10pm (and some weekends), so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available for walks or drop ins. Would love to regularly walk or drop in with your furry friends weekly or a few times a week! Active pet sitter near parks & walking trails. I enjoy taking pups on long walks or runs outdoors, or even just providing some company in the house while your are away.
“Jasmyn really helped us have a piece of mind while away this last weekend! She was great at giving updates & we had no issues with both our energetic golden & cat! She was very attentive & sweet. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes. I am willing to do whatever is needed to provide the best care for the animals, regardless of it being messy or the weather being bad. I am currently in school, so I have a specific schedule, but I still have some time available. I am able to be flexible and make things work. I am very involved in the care of my own cats and will do whatever is asked of me by clients to take the best care of their cats. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.
About: (I go by Dakota, so some testimonies might call me that) I started off pet sitting for neighbors when I was about 14. I would feed, let out, and walk the dogs, and feed and clean cat litter boxes as needed. I moved up to dog sitting for family friends, old coworkers, and coworkers’ clients about three years ago, where I would do the same, and even bathe dogs if needed. I have experience pet sitting rodents and reptiles as well! I am currently not working a job, so I have all the time to give your babies the love and attention they need and deserve! I have experience with body language in dogs, so I can always tell when your baby is happy, upset, or uncomfortable. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, no problem! I can take your fur baby on a secure leash outside!
“This was the first time using Rover and I was a little nervous having a stranger come in my home and care for my dog. Caroline was awesome, and went above and beyond during her drop in visits as I was out of town for a few days. She was very accommodating for my dogs needs. She also sent me pictures and updates! I would definitely recommend her!!”

“Michelle has been excellent ! We are so fortunate our Mabel had such awesome care and attention . We felt very comfortable having Michelle in our home and spending time with our best girl ! I highly recommend Michelle to anyone who loves their pet(s) and wants the security of knowing they are loved and cared for 1,000% of the time . I was nervous to use Rover as I am first time user . Michelle made it so easy and comfortable .”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats and birds since I was 12 years old. Neighbors, friends and family relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I also worked for a veterinarian for about 2 years and I am currently going to school to become a veterinary technician. I have a 1 1/2-year-old dog that I am currently training her to be a therapy dog. I am available 7 days a week while working full-time Monday thru Friday. I’ll be able to pet sit in your home. Check out my calendar to see what days I’m not currently booked. In my clients' homes, I give the animals all of my attention and follow any special directions the client leaves for me. I am a firm believer in leaving things better than how I found them, so I am always sure to clean up, lock up, use common sense, and follow proper & appropriate protocol and instruction.
“Samira did a great job with our pup, who struggles with anxiety, is geriatric, and has a few health issues. We had a pretty emotionally loaded event to attend and the last thing we needed was to worry about our dog! Thank you for being 100% caring, trustworthy, and professional!!”

“Miranda did really great! She connected with both my dogs right away and you could just tell she had a lot of dog-savvy knowledge and experience behind her. The dogs had a great time "just hanging out" but I got the peace of mind that a great sitter would be looking after these guys.”

The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Racine is $20

Pete was Awesome!!! Fist off, my dogs are rescues. They have idiosyncrasies (lol). Taffy puts up defences when meeting new people. So much so, that two prior interviewees turned down the offer. Peter, who is a gentle giant, won her over during the interview. Not with his giantness, but his amazing gentleness. Usually it takes some time for Taffy to trust someone, but she found something in Peter to trust right away! The rest of the week went incredibly smoothly. I got texts every evening (he offered photos but i declined). Both Tanka and Taffy assumed "Belly Rub" positions once Peter arrived. I heard such great reports that when I got home, I had to tearfully sit down with them and ask if they would rather go and live with Peter. Just kidding, I couldn't ask that question for fear of the answer!! When I came home, my doges were normal. Not filled with fear, anxiety, depression or anything that separation might cause. That means Peter did not just feed, water, and let them outside. He gave them loving care in my absence. He treated them as I would treat them. That is the sign of an excellent caretaker!! He will always take care of my dogs, dean

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Racine with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
