About: I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments throughout my whole life. I have some experience assisting pets recovering from surgery, that require specific/scheduled care, and those who are physically healthy, but perhaps are just very slow to trust. I am more than happy to meet your pet where they are, and to assist with their needs as much as you are comfortable. Due to seasonal lay-offs at my workplace, I am currently available all throughout the day. I am happy to make trips throughout the day if needed, and/or multiple days throughout the week. I take my dog for regular walks, and am happy to do the same for yours. I also do my best to present a calm and controlled energy with animals, in an attempt to let them grow more comfortable with me at their own pace. I am prepared to be patient if your pets are more shy, and playful if they are more energetic and friendly. Every dog and cat is different, and I do my best to match their energy and respect their boundaries, while ensuring I am also meeting their needs.

About: Stephanie developed her passion for dog training after adopting her third dog, Lance from a local shelter. He ended up having many behavior issues, leading Stephanie down this path. She read as many books and attended as many seminars as she could about dog training and behavior in order to help him. He made such wonderful progress and went from a scared, highly reactive dog to a confident NW2 dog before ultimately losing him unexpectedly in 2017 to lymphoma. He was one of those life changing dogs. Stephanie started nose work in 2010 and was hooked from day one. She is a CNWI who recently retired her original nose work dog Logan and is now competing with her third nose work dog Leena and working on her fourth dog Livvy. Along with nose work, she is our reactivity specialist. She is always eager to learn and gain more knowledge about dogs. She is currently being trained by her adorable pups – Leena, Leevi, Livvy & Lynzi. Stephanie is a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA), Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI). She also has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.

About: I have one dog and one cat that tend to stay upstairs. I absolutely love animals, So I hope to have my own little hobby farm one day. If your pet is in my home, please know they’ll always feel loved, safe and most likely tired out from all out walks. I believe humans and animals benefit from exercise which helps with behavior, same for humans. So bring your pup to me, and they’ll be tired for you:) Also, I have a special place in my heart for special-needs animals that need a little extra love and patience. I have been doing dog-watching for the past four years, in addition to working part-time for 10 years. I work at a school right down the road, which is perfect for dog watching. I leave at 7am, and I’m back by 11am each day. I do boarding, play dates, pickups, drop-ins, and trips to the dog park. I have a fenced-in yard, so your dog may play, run, or simply get some fresh air. I spend my time walking dogs, feeding them, playing, cuddling, kisses, relaxing on the porch and constantly opening and closing the door so they can go outside. Ha! It’s my life, and I truly love it.

About: I grew up with pets, I have 3 dogs my oldest one is 11. I watch over a friend's dogs as of right now. I'll be able to walk your dog however long you would need me to and make sure they have water and are fed if needed. If there's any messes I see around I'll clean them up. My friend has a cat and I love going over to his house to pet her. she's grown a liking to me and I have to her as well, I give her treats time to time and pet her a lot. I don't know how to clean a litter box. but I can definitely give your cat some quality time and play, feed the cat and make sure they have water. I always make sure my pets have water, especially after a walk or if it's a hot day out. Love to play with my dogs and lay with them in the couch.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats and birds since I was 12 years old. Neighbors, friends and family relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I also worked for a veterinarian for about 2 years and I am currently going to school to become a veterinary technician. I have a 1 1/2-year-old dog that I am currently training her to be a therapy dog. I am available 7 days a week while working full-time Monday thru Friday. I’ll be able to pet sit in your home. Check out my calendar to see what days I’m not currently booked. In my clients' homes, I give the animals all of my attention and follow any special directions the client leaves for me. I am a firm believer in leaving things better than how I found them, so I am always sure to clean up, lock up, use common sense, and follow proper & appropriate protocol and instruction.

About: I have experience in cat sitting with clients, some of them had anxious cats that were more on the spicy side. I gained their trust and surprised their owners when they found out how close and cuddly they got with me, that's my quality. I don't expect every cat to open all of their boundaries and I respect doing what they want. 😸 I am known to socialize with the cats outside of just feeding them and cleaning their litterbox. I have had 3 cats of my own, 2 which have been elderly cats who needed medicine and careful care. 💊 I am very good at administering meds and staying consistent. I have had two dogs which both crossed the rainbow bridge from elderly age (a malamute and a newfoundland). I am an equal cat and dog lover! I would love to have a dog again one day. I walk with a cane so I am comfortable walking small dogs. 🐶 I have a very flexible schedule since I work from home. I can stop by any time in the mornings, afternoons, and also early evenings. When going to a client's home, I am very careful when entering and exiting the home when the door opens. I also do a head count of any cats including my own before leaving a house. I know from my own pet that they like to get curious and can suddenly go into a bathroom or closet and can get closed in. Just like my teaching days - taking head counts is important! I also watch the pets as they eat especially if there are multiple in a house so that they don't overeat by sneaking snacks from their pet buddies food.

About: My uncle bred certified schnauzers and I was always willing to lend a hand where needed. I also grew up around other breeds such as German Shepard, beagles, Shitzus, Great Pyrenees and many others. So I am fine with any size dog. I am off almost every weekend and have a lot of time on my hands during the day. I do this because currently I can’t have a dog so I plan on treating yours as my own. I will respect your home as if it’s my own. Shoot need a little clean up I will sure be down to do a little cleaning.

About: I can’t remember a time in my life I haven’t been around animals. I’m comfortable with any animal big or small. I’ve owned hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, rats, dogs, cats, and many other pets. I volunteered at a cat shelter for multiple hours a week for over 5 years. I have fostered 13 kittens, some as young as a few days old. I now live with a dog, four cats, and too many small pets to count. I have pet-sat for friends and family, I ride at a barn, and I do little bits of training with our dog and cats. I am comfortable clipping cat nails and grooming. It makes no difference to me if the pet is young or old, big or small; I love them each. Save for Tuesday mornings and afternoons, I am available weekdays and weekends. My Friday and Saturday nights are not always free, but there can be exceptions. I’m a nature-loving girl, so I can take your pet on walks around your neighborhood or a park you know and love. I’m willing to play fetch or help keep your pet up-to-date on practicing its tricks and training. If your pet is the cuddling type, I can do so as well, and if it likes adventure, I have traveled all the way to Montana with my cat in the car.

About: I have always had dogs & loved them since I was born. My parents would travel a lot & I would stay and take care of my dogs, I even helped care for and raise 2 litters of puppies! When my siblings, friends, or family friends are out of town, I am always asked to take care of their dogs. I now have an 8 month old puppy of my own, & he is treated like a prince. I have taken him, and my family dog both to training classes, so have experience there. I think I am considered over others to watch people's pets because of how much they know I genuinely care for animals. I ensure their dogs are fed and watered at a timely manner, loved on/cuddled, and happily exercised. I have always had a special bond with all dog breeds and almost all animals, and promise to provide quality care for anyone's dogs/pet :). Pet care naturally fits into my daily/weekly routine, as I have a dog of my own as well. I currently have a job at a bar/restaurant, however I am only working most weekends. This leaves most of my week days quite open. I have used most of this time doing fun things with my own dog, so I thought "why not do fun things with other dogs that need the care?". How do you care for pets in your home and/or your client's home? This will vary depending on which service you offer. Of course caring for pets will vary based on the home, but in my own, I have a fenced in yard with a large amount of space for them to run around in and play. Inside my house I have a cozy living room in which we can hangout in, and a mud room to wipe paws and eat breakfast and dinner and drink water. For another's home, I would abide by their pet rules and use the space they have to maximize my time with their pet/s. Along with this, I am more than willing to take their pets for walks, or even to the dog park if they would like.
