About: I have had all kinds of dogs & a cat since I was a kid; Schnauzers, Beagles, Pittie mixes, and a Chihuahua. About: When my mom wouldn’t let me have a cat as a kid, I knew I still had to be around them somehow. I spent my childhood catching and petting feral cats at my grandmother’s house. I found a cat shelter where I dedicated hours of each week volunteering to rehabilitate feral cats and kittens, including attending fundraisers thrown by the shelter to raise awareness and money to care for the cats. I have now fostered 13 kittens and had two cats of my own. I currently live with four cats and a dog and I’m often visited by the neighborhood kitties as well as the mousers that live at my horse riding barn. Cats have been my favorite animal for my entire life and I love each one of them no matter the personality.
About: I have always had dogs & loved them since I was born. My parents would travel a lot & I would stay and take care of my dogs, I even helped care for and raise 2 litters of puppies! When my siblings, friends, or family friends are out of town, I am always asked to take care of their dogs. I now have an 8 month old puppy of my own, & he is treated like a prince. About: My uncle bred certified schnauzers and I was always willing to lend a hand where needed. About: I grew up with pets, I have 3 dogs my oldest one is 11. I watch over a friend's dogs as of right now. I'll be able to walk your dog however long you would need me to and make sure they have water and are fed if needed. If there's any messes I see around I'll clean them up. My friend has a cat and I love going over to his house to pet her. she's grown a liking to me and I have to her as well, I give her treats time to time and pet her a lot. I don't know how to clean a litter box. but I can definitely give your cat some quality time and play, feed the cat and make sure they have water. About: I have a soft spot for older dogs and the extra patience they deserve. Senior pets need a slower pace and someone who really pays attention — and that's exactly what I provide. On the other hand, I absolutely love a young, energetic dog who keeps me on my toes too! I grew up with Chihuahuas and have regularly babysat my family's dogs over the years, so while I may not have a dog of my own right now, pets have always been a big part of my life. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I work remotely so I am avaliable anytime to fufill your dog's need's house sitting or drop ins! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine — I work from home, so I'm around all day and can give your dog constant attention and companionship. I live in a two-story house with my partner and have a backyard, perfect for some outdoor time. We're also just a block from the lake, so adventurous pups will love the walks! I'm available for sitting pretty much anytime, making it easy to accommodate your schedule. Please note the backyard is not fenced, so leashed outdoor time is always practiced for safety. When a pet is in my care, they're treated like a true member of the family. Since I work from home, I'm available all day to make sure they're never left alone for long. I love getting outside, so expect plenty of walks and adventures — we're a block from the lake, so there's always somewhere fun to explore! For boarding, pets sleep in their own bed or crate so they have a comfortable, familiar space to wind down. About: Hi there, I'm Nichole, and the dog in my profile picture is Chance! She was my best bud for 12 years so senior doggos are my heart! She helped me be familiar with giving oral medication and needing lots of naps and low-key play times! Besides Chance, I’ve had dogs whose ages range from 5 months to 10 years of age, and a variety of different breeds and sizes! I am comfortable with tug of war, playing fetch, or a good snuggle and belly rub. Currently we have two kitties and a doggo that just turned a year and an half (we’re working on behavioral needs with her so I’m very patient!) Are walks your furry best friend's favorite thing to do? Just leave me a note or give me instructions (if needed) in case they are really energetic or have a bigger than life personality so I know what they need. I can of course send pics of your best friend enjoying themselves on our walk, play time or even if they’re snoozing or chowing down on a meal. Do not hesitate to check in either asking how they are! It is my priority to be here while you’re away and to help you feel comfortable with their care even if I am just doing a check in. I know that their mom or dad is the best, but it’s my hope to help them not miss you as much while you're gone so I will make it a fun time for them and love them and care for them like they were my own. As far as how pet care fits into my daily routine, I would be available to walk or do check ins any time after 1 pm Monday-Thursdays and on Fridays anytime after 9 am as I am currently working summer school so have more flexibility in my schedule. Weekends are mostly free for the above mentioned as well as house sitting, I do like to keep some weekends free for a better work life balance though but of course still reach out and we can chat! For house sits I can do up to 4 days unless we’ve spoken of other arrangements; due to family/work life balance I will no longer do more than stated above unless I’ve already had you as a house sitting client prior. With doing house sits during summer I of course will be out of the house still for about 5 hours for working at school so I like to be up front about that but besides running a quick errand I would be back at your house so you can make sure your furry friend is receiving the best care while you’re away! I will care for your pets as if they were family. I will be as hands off or hands on as needed depending on what they like or need. :) I also do have my husband come with me to all meet and greets due to safety reasons. He will not come to the walking or drop ins when being done.
