About: I’ve been around pets my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. There was already a cat in my home before I was born, so I’ve had animals since day 1! My family got our dog when I was 10, and I’ve helped care for her ever since, including feeding, walking, playing with her, and general daily care. I’ve also cared for pets belonging to friends and neighbors. In addition, I have cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with the care, attention, and patience they need. I truly enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. About: For the last 10 years I have been the go to pet-sitter for my family, friends and neighbors, and I can be for you also! I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes and cats of all kinds. I have taken care of itty bitty baby kittens and helped raised them up to go into their forever homes. I spent time working at a doggie daycare, where I gained some experience administering medications such as pills and eyedrops/eardrops. About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was a child. I grew up taking care of my aunts dog. She was my best friend. I have been asked to take care of many loved ones animals and I have always been reliable and trustworthy. I work at puppies and yoga on the weekends. During the week I work at a thrift store in the mornings. I am a student at Matc and I have morning and afternoon classes on Wednesdays and Fridays. The best time for me to walk the dogs and pet would be the afternoon. I care for every pet as if they were my own, while always following the owner’s specific instructions and keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks or walks, playtime, exercise, and plenty of attention and affection. I also keep their environment clean, comfortable, and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their home and follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, crates, and house rules. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I’ve had friends and family members rely on me to board, walk, feed and bathe their pets! I am very attentive and have been around pets big and small since I was born! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for years, but done it more seriously the past three years. I do overnight stays with my friends/families dogs, and a lot of dog walking! I’ve done everything from administering medications to cleaning up accidents. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I don’t have time constraints (for the most part), so I can take my time caring for your pets. I would like to say I’m very good at being aware of my surroundings. I’ve taken care of dogs that aren’t dog-friendly, so I know how to handle those situations when on walks, etc. I also realize that growing trust with animals is extremely important.

About: I'm Julie (Jules), a graphic designer and creative director. I own a design and branding company in the Chicago/Milwaukee area that services clients locally, nationally and globally. I love all creative pursuits, including writing music for piano and singing. I've always loved all dogs, especially larger breeds (though the smaller pups are super cute and sweet and steal my heart equally!). My pup, Bella, a black lab mix, was a very kind, sweet and gentle dog. She passed in 2016 at age 14, having had a very nice life. I would love to help other fur babies who need caregiving while their humans are away or need a daily walk or check-in. I'm at home working during the week and have access to a wonderful backyard, an amazing neighborhood, and parks nearby. I love all outdoor activities, especially hiking and swimming. Would love to take your pups to the beach or on any sized walk they desire!! :) I offer these services because I love dogs, not to make a living. It's a great win/win to have a sweet fur baby around from time to time. Yes, it's nice to have some extra cash to work on the house, but my primary career more than covers my income needs. I share this info so you can be sure no other dogs will share your pup's time with me.* I keep to a strict policy of one-on-one care and up to two dogs from the same family... if you have more than two, please reach out, and I may be able to make exceptions. My rates reflect this customized care and focus for your sweet puppers! *In mid-2024, I started pairing up dogs that requested having another pup present from a different family. Please let me know if you are open to having a playmate for your pup. If you prefer no other dogs in the home while yours is here with me, I strictly adhere to your preferences and take this quite seriously. I specialize in customized care for dogs with behavioral issues such as not getting along with other dogs. Since my dog passed in 2016, I have been able to devote all my time to your pup when they're in my care. They will be carefully cared for and pampered, with every need catered to. The only thing I won't abide is a pup who isn't house-trained. If your dog/pup has never been left with a sitter before and you'd like to ensure they're a great house guest, I do suggest booking a 1-2 night stay much in advance of your trip so we can see if your pup has any specific issues to call out, and if I'm a good fit for them/you. I have found this to be of great benefit to you and me! I charge a cleaning fee IF your pup has "surprise" issues with incontinence, as this behavior can happen; however, I don't take on dogs with this issue unless we have a solution, like a doggy diaper or pee pads (for puppies). Severe separation anxiety can also be challenging, as my own pup had this issue. If there are situations such as this, I ask that you bring a crate, and the pup must be trained and be OK to be in their crate as needed. If no issues like these exist, they need to have their own bed or spot where they like to sleep. I don't allow dogs to sleep upstairs with me. Snuggling up on the sofa with a couple of pups is one of my favorite things to do. I know most dogs like a comfy bed. As noted above, please bring a fresh bed for your pet, either a cleaned dog bed from home or a new one. I have blankets for the floor and a lovely sofa that I cover with a blanket for the occasional daytime snooze. If you have an elderly dog, I know just what to do to provide the best care. As my dog Bella aged, I learned how to adapt every year. Listening to your dog and providing the best care is my priority. I realized that leaving an ailing or elderly pup in another person's care can be stressful. I would treat your dog like my own and hope to put your mind at rest. I welcome all questions as part of our meet + greet. I only sit for dogs I know or can meet during our meet + greet (unless out-of-town circumstances or timing prevail). I can sit at the last minute only for pups I've sat for previously or know well. If you are traveling from out of town and cannot sync up for a meet + greet, please reach out to discuss your situation. As far as breeds go, I have experience with an extensive range of breeds—larger breeds with special needs like an elevated dog water/food bowl due to how they process food or other breeds that are great with humans and not so wonderful with other dog breeds. I've had great results with training. I have experience with smaller breeds as well. As mentioned, I only sit for house-trained and well-behaved dogs in the home. I book up early... sometimes six months before a planned trip. Please plan ahead to secure your desired dates. I look forward to meeting your amazing pups soon!! Jules I'm home most of the time. I work days and some evenings but make my own schedule. I'm available as needed for all types of customized care. I have a lovely yard for dog play. About: I have one dog and one cat that tend to stay upstairs. I absolutely love animals, So I hope to have my own little hobby farm one day. If your pet is in my home, please know they’ll always feel loved, safe and most likely tired out from all out walks. I believe humans and animals benefit from exercise which helps with behavior, same for humans. So bring your pup to me, and they’ll be tired for you:) Also, I have a special place in my heart for special-needs animals that need a little extra love and patience. I have been doing dog-watching for the past four years, in addition to working part-time for 10 years. I work at a school right down the road, which is perfect for dog watching. I leave at 7am, and I’m back by 11am each day. I do boarding, play dates, pickups, drop-ins, and trips to the dog park. I have a fenced-in yard, so your dog may play, run, or simply get some fresh air. I spend my time walking dogs, feeding them, playing, cuddling, kisses, relaxing on the porch and constantly opening and closing the door so they can go outside. Ha! It’s my life, and I truly love it.

About: I've been around animals my whole life! Family and friends have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also worked for Wag, which I thoroughly enjoyed and learned so much about caring for pets. My schedule is extremely flexible and I only work part time, so I can care for your pets at almost any time of day, especially mornings and afternoons. In a client's home, the pets are in a familiar environment with an unfamiliar person. So, the first thing I do is give the pets a chance to get used to me! Let them sniff me, let them approach me at their own pace.

About: I have over 27 years of personal dog care experience, looking to help those in the community that need their best friends walked and cared for. My soulmate Olaf crossed the rainbow bridge May 2026 and I am looking to utilize my energy to help those in the community care for their dogs. I live with two Dachshund mixes that aren't much of walkers themselves, so I'd love to walk with some dogs that appreciate time outdoors. In that 27 years, I have experience with multiple breeds including "bully" breeds and small dogs. I have worked with numerous types of dog breeds and sizes, and personalities, and I open to work with any dog that needs that special care while you are out. I have experience with different harness and leash types, as well as environments for taking your dog on a stroll (city, country, downtown, etc). I practice patience with each new dog for them to get to know and trust me, while adding some fun and extra pats into the mix. I have a fairly set work schedule though can be available any evening of the week with proper notice. I am open to discuss availability to help care for your dog and get them the care they need while you are taking care of others things. For dog walking services and drop-ins, it will be best for me to come to your home to care for them to best accommodate you and your dog's needs.

About: Me and my husband dog sit together and have had dogs growing up and currently have one, I work at dog daycare/boarding facility and have been there for over 3 years now. My husband, Mateo, currently works from home and can be there when I’m at work. We absolutely love dogs and have taken care of them our whole life. I work full time but am available most days and am always available. I’m also available full time on the weekends. My husband currently works from home and is available to provide care while I’m at work! We would make sure to take care of any safety precautions necessary to keep your pup or pups safe in your home while you are away!

About: I’ve been a pet sitter for dogs and cats since I was in high school for family members and neighbors. I have a background with volunteering at local animal shelters. My schedule is flexible throughout the week which helps provide plenty of pet sitting availability. Pet care easily fits into my schedule. About: I've been around dogs my entire life — in 28 years, there have only been 7 days I've lived without one! I grew up in a home with five dogs, including four Bernese Mountain Dogs and a Sheltie. My family also responsibly bred Berners and Shelties, and I grew up around training, proper care, and learning to understand each dog's individual personality. I also prepare homemade food for my dog and have learned a lot through that experience about paying attention to ingredients, sensitivities, age, energy levels, and individual needs. I'm comfortable with dogs of different ages, personalities, routines, and needs, and I believe patience and consistency go a long way. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I treat every dog like they're part of the family — with plenty of attention, patience, playtime, and care while you're away. 🐾 Pets are already a big part of my everyday life. I have always had dogs and currently have three cats of my own, so feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, and keeping up with their routines are naturally part of my day. I’m also intentional about making time for the pets I care for. I’d rather give a pet my full attention than simply “check a box” and leave. I’m happy to work around their normal routine and give them the consistency they’re used to while their family is away. 🐾 I start by learning your pet’s normal routine — feeding times, walks, medications, favorite activities, boundaries, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. Then I stick to those instructions as closely as possible. I believe good pet care is about paying attention to the little things. I watch for changes in appetite, energy, behavior, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice something worth knowing about. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable, not like their routine has suddenly been turned upside down. Whether they want a long walk and lots of playtime or prefer to curl up somewhere quiet, I’ll meet them where they are. 🐶🐱
