“Kailey has been amazing for our puppy Cooper!!! She leaves very detailed notes for us on the walks and we LOVE the pics she takes for us! She understands his quirks and works so well with him!!!”

About: Have administered specialized medicine to senior animals for ongoing diseases such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. Was very diligent nursing my senior kitty before he passed. I work and go to school so my schedule varies but I always have some nights and mornings free each week that I would love to use on animals. I understand and respect animals boundaries and try my best not to encroach them. I've also mastered the "foot as barrier" approach when opening doors.
“Carmen has been great! She filled in for my normal walker twice now and was timely both days. She sent pictures and a brief explanation of their walk and my pup was tired out after each walk. Can’t wait to use her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals all my life. It’s something that I’ve always loved doing. From fragile kittens to senior Dogs and vice versa. You need to know that your loved ones are cared for with love and that comes with experience and real love for our 4 legged furry family members. Now a senior myself I’m hoping to care for the next generation of pets for others. CATS and DOGS. Walks, interactions, fun and safe care. My yard is fenced in with toys and fun for CATS and DOGS a friendly caring environment for all. Safe and secure. A place they will love.
“From the moment we met Gianpaulo we knew!! He bonded immediately with Stanley! He very, very conscientious, very warm and an absolute joy to have around our dog! Cannot recommend him enough!”

“My pup loved Jack. He is very gentle, yet authoritative, ensuring they know who the alfa is and that they are safe with him. Jack's communication skills are good, and he keeps you posted on how things went. I would recommend Jack to anyone who is unsure whether or not to allow someone else to care for your new family member.”

About: As a lifelong dog owner, I’ve cared for pups of all sizes, ages, and personalities. From playful puppies to senior dogs, I’ve learned how to tune in to their needs and routines. I treat every dog like my own — with patience and love. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. Your furry friend will feel right at home with me. Dog sitting is more than just watching pets — it’s about creating a safe, loving space while their owners are away. I stick to each dog’s routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they feel calm and cared for. I have open availability during weekdays, making scheduling easy and flexible for you. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. In my home, pets have space to relax, play, and feel at ease. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect the space and treat it like my own, making sure your pet is happy, well-fed, and never lonely.
About: I am a dog lover and caretaker of my own 5-year-old basset hound, Pearl! Each dog is unique and deserves lots of love and respect. I'm happy to work with dogs of all breeds and will honor their individual needs, preferences, and schedules. With a flexible job schedule, I am able to provide dog care (walks, drop-ins, and/or overnight boarding stays) during the week and on some weekends. As a dog parent myself, I understand the care and thought that goes into establishing your dog's routine. I am happy to accommodate for your dog's usual schedule and habits, whether that's in our apartment or your place of residence. Pearl, our dog, is gentle and kind with all dogs, and she would love to make a new friend!
About: I love animals and have always had them. My friends reach out to me for pet sitting because they know I will take the best care of their fur babies! I have a teacup Yorkie and a cat so if you have a friendly pet, they are welcome to stay by me, but I am also retired so can stay by you if that's more convenient. I am very flexible! I am retired so have all day & evening to spend with your fur babies. I love to walk so would be sure to take your fur babies outside for fresh air any time of the year. I live in a safe area and have beautiful paths for dog walking any time of day. If your pet likes car rides, I love the beach & the water so could have lots of fun taking them wherever they like to go!
About: I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes. I am willing to do whatever is needed to provide the best care for the animals, no matter their specific needs. I am currently in school, so I have a specific schedule, but I still have some time available. I am able to be flexible and make things work. I am very involved in the care of my own cats and will do whatever is asked of me by clients to take the best care of their cats. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.
About: My experience entailed taking care of multiple dogs over the course of several years. I have sat for a golden retriever for two years, a chihuahua for four years as well as a chocolate lab at the same time. When I was in middle school, I also cared for our neighbor’s golden-doodle and shih-tzu, Roofus and Boomer. They were the first dogs I sat for and it was such an amazing and fun time. They were over for two years and taught me the first skills I needed for taking care of dogs. My duties were walking, feeding, taking care of the dogs’ well being and all other dog-related duties. Molly, the chihuahua I took care of, was such an awesome time- she was so energetic and bubbly; she always wanted to go outside and play. I have always loved meeting new dogs and taking care of them. There was much joy in the pets I took care of, I want to continue doing the same! I am currently in school getting my degree at UWM as well as taking summer classes, but my schedule is flexible and I will have time during the day to walk and take care of the dogs. My home has a fenced in yard as well as it being a spacious one, so I have experience also with letting the dog out and taking care of them simply outside the home. No matter if it is simply walking or taking care of them in a client’s home, I have the expertise of what a dog needs.
“Michelle was prompt in responding, friendly and outgoing with our pups, and asked great questions about them! We re-booked her promptly and highly suggest her services if you're in the greater SE-WI area.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and reliable pet sitter with a true love for animals. I currently have a 6 year old Maltipoo and a cat, and I grew up with two Yorkies, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve also worked in a veterinary clinic, which gave me experience with animal care and safety. I treat every pet like my own and can provide dog-sitting references upon request! I currently am very flexible and have an open schedule! I can work around schedules if need be. I’m used to taking my dog out early in the mornings. I care for pets by meeting their needs that they need. I can crate them if needed and have a clean and safe house. To make your fur babies comfortable.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
