About: Hi there! I’ve had the joy of caring for my mom’s and friends’ dogs over the years, and I was also a proud dog mom myself for over a decade. My sweet girl passed away last September, and while I’m not quite ready to bring another pup into my life full-time, I truly miss the companionship and would love the chance to care for your dog while you’re away. I have experience with senior dogs and pups who need special medical attention, including administering medication and monitoring health conditions like seizures. I understand how important it is to provide patient, attentive care—especially when a dog has unique needs. Whether your dog loves long walks or just relaxing on the couch, I’m happy to meet them right where they are. I’d be honored to give your pup the love, attention, and comfort they deserve in your absence. I work from home and occasionally out in the field, but I'm never gone for more than a few hours—and I can adjust my schedule to be home the entire time if needed. Outside of work, I am a homebody, so you never have to worry about your dog being alone at night. While I do not have a fenced yard, I have a small courtyard and live in a residential neighborhood, which is excellent for walking. Inside my home, your dog is free to go wherever they like. No place is off limits (I am used to having a sliver of the bed).

About: I’m a guy who falls in love with dogs instantly. Don’t want them back? No worries! Dogs instantly want to be my best friend and I’ve never met a dog that I didn’t like or that didn’t like me. I work from home. My dogs are part of the family. I would take care of your dogs as if they were my own children. I have a doggy door and outside kennel for the dogs to use as needed. I’m also happy to take dogs on a walk and my wife is a super dog walker. We have two dogs-a Pomeranian who is all love and a lab who’s an old girl but who is the best dog you’ll ever meet. I understand dogs. How they communicate, how they operate. I know how to get them to develop good habits.

About: I've been around animals my whole life! Family and friends have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also worked for Wag, which I thoroughly enjoyed and learned so much about caring for pets. My schedule is extremely flexible and I only work part time, so I can care for your pets at almost any time of day, especially mornings and afternoons. In a client's home, the pets are in a familiar environment with an unfamiliar person. So, the first thing I do is give the pets a chance to get used to me! Let them sniff me, let them approach me at their own pace.

About: Have administered specialized medicine to senior animals for ongoing diseases such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. Was very diligent nursing my senior kitty before he passed. I work and go to school so my schedule varies but I always have some nights and mornings free each week that I would love to use on animals. Constant Care policy: if you are needing constant care that would require me to not leave for more than 4 hours, please book atleast 2 weeks ahead of whatever dates you need so I can accommodate that. I would also need to adjust my rate to reflect the lost income. I understand and respect animals boundaries and try my best not to encroach them. I've also mastered the "foot as barrier" approach when opening doors.

If your pet is in my home, please know they’ll always feel loved, safe and most likely tired out from all out walks. I believe humans and animals benefit from exercise which helps with behavior, same for humans. So bring your pup to me, and they’ll be tired for you:) Also, I have a special place in my heart for special-needs animals that need a little extra love and patience. I have been doing dog-watching for the past four years, in addition to working part-time for 10 years. I work at a school right down the road, which is perfect for dog watching. I leave at 7am, and I’m back by 11am each day. I do boarding, play dates, pickups, drop-ins, and trips to the dog park. I have a fenced-in yard, so your dog may play, run, or simply get some fresh air. I spend my time walking dogs, feeding them, playing, cuddling, kisses, relaxing on the porch and constantly opening and closing the door so they can go outside. Ha! It’s my life, and I truly love it.
