“This is the first time we've used Rover.com and we were naturally concerned about leaving Gracie with someone we didn't know, especially for almost two weeks. After meeting Joe and Diana, their girls and their little dog Pickles, we knew Gracie would be well cared for. And she was. While we were on vacation, we got pictures of Pickles and Gracie just chilling out. We even got a movie of them playing together. They apparently were becoming such good buddies, we began to wonder if Gracie would want to come home with us. Joe and Diana were terrific accommodating Gracie's needs. Gracie very much likes to sleep overnight in our bedroom and Joe and Diana arranged for her to do that. Except for one night when they woke to find Gracie's bed was empty. It was not a problem though. They soon found her sleeping with Pickles in the other room. Joe and Diana have the perfect house for dog sitting. They even have a cabinet that runs the length of the front picture window, so Gracie had a place to sit and watch the world outside - one of her favorite pass-times. We will definitely use Joe and Diana to dog sit Gracie in the future. Highly recommend.”

About: I have experience in cat sitting with clients, some of them had anxious cats that were more on the spicy side. I gained their trust and surprised their owners when they found out how close and cuddly they got with me, that's my quality. When going to a client's home, I am very careful when entering and exiting the home when the door opens. I also do a head count of any cats including my own before leaving a house. I know from my own pet that they like to get curious and can suddenly go into a bathroom or closet and can get closed in. Just like my teaching days - taking head counts is important! I also watch the pets as they eat especially if there are multiple in a house so that they don't overeat by sneaking snacks from their pet buddies food.

She did a good job asking questions and making sure Kitten got the medications she needed on the correct schedule. She successfully gave both oral and injection medication and Kitten was in great shape when I got back (which is not always the case after a vacation due to her detailed care needs). There were some minor things that came up but those were mostly me being very particular about some specifics and in the end, were not that important and didn't affect the care of the cats. The house was clean and the cat food and litter box trash taken out, which I appreciated.”

About: Have administered specialized medicine to senior animals for ongoing diseases such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. Was very diligent nursing my senior kitty before he passed. I work and go to school so my schedule varies but I always have some nights and mornings free each week that I would love to use on animals. Constant Care policy: if you are needing constant care that would require me to not leave for more than 4 hours, please book atleast 2 weeks ahead of whatever dates you need so I can accommodate that. I would also need to adjust my rate to reflect the lost income. I understand and respect animals boundaries and try my best not to encroach them. I've also mastered the "foot as barrier" approach when opening doors.

“I can't thank Heather enough for taking such wonderful care of Snoopy while we were away on a month-long trip. Leaving our pup behind wasn't easy, and I'll admit I was a bit worried at first but I'm so glad we found Heather. From day one, she put our minds at ease. We received lovely weekly updates with plenty of pictures, which truly kept our worries at bay and let us enjoy our vacation knowing Snoopy was in great hands. Heather was incredibly attentive and proactive about Snoopy's needs. She promptly let us know when his food was running low and even offered to pick up more while we were away — that kind of thoughtfulness goes above and beyond. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!”
“Rachel was very communicative while we were away on vacation. She sent us pictures of our furry friend and updates. She had the pool out for the dogs and I felt like she was being well taken care of and it eased my mind while away. My dog came home exhausted! Which tells me she had a lot of play time. “Laura took such good care of our dog, Plum, for a week while we were out of town. She sent me photo updates of Plum playing with her dog Diesel every day, and it was clear that her family was showing him so much love. I am so grateful to Laura for watching over Plum for us and being so responsive, reliable, and warm. Her house was also super close to the airport which made pick up / drop of very convenient and a safe fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend booking with Laura and will do so again next time!”

“Great place to stay! We left our dog while we were on vacation for about 5 days and when we picked him up he had his nails trimmed and was given a bath. We got a updated with pictures/videos at least once a day and we could tell that he was exercised and happy!”
