About: I've been around animals my whole life! Family and friends have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also worked for Wag, which I thoroughly enjoyed and learned so much about caring for pets. My schedule is extremely flexible and I only work part time, so I can care for your pets at almost any time of day, especially mornings and afternoons. In a client's home, the pets are in a familiar environment with an unfamiliar person. So, the first thing I do is give the pets a chance to get used to me! Let them sniff me, let them approach me at their own pace.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for years, but done it more seriously the past three years. I do overnight stays with my friends/families dogs, and a lot of dog walking! I’ve done everything from administering medications to cleaning up accidents. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I don’t have time constraints (for the most part), so I can take my time caring for your pets. I would like to say I’m very good at being aware of my surroundings. I’ve taken care of dogs that aren’t dog-friendly, so I know how to handle those situations when on walks, etc. I also realize that growing trust with animals is extremely important.

About: I have had dogs my whole life, have helped train family pets, and am certified as a Comfort Dog handler. I have watched dogs from the wee size of a Chihuahua to big fluffy Newfoundlands. I love using patience and kindness to ensure your pups safety and well-being. I agrew up with the high energy of Border Collies, both young and older. I have dogsat at someone's house up to 5 dogs at a time, with varying food needs and medications. I try my best to be flexible and up for anything you need to ensure your furry friend is taken care of the same way I would care for my own. From walks, to watching them in my home, I am here to help you remain confident in your dog's care. For boarding, I do have two dogs that live in residence and would be available for a meet and greet prior to booking. I work a hybrid schedule, so some days I am fully working from home and other days I am in the office and usually pop home in the early afternoon to let my dogs out and finish the day working from home. Dogs get fed before I start work and dinner when I finish. If I work from home I usually take a break outside at some point to play with the pups and after work we can do walks or dog park or hanging out in the yard. I have a fenced yard and two other pups in the home who are relatively chill. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and get lots of snuggles. My own dogs are crate-trained but rarely use them. They are often left on the living room couch when I leave, with a baby gate keeping them in. Can use crates if needed, I own a size small and a size large. My dogs are 25 and 12 pounds. The smaller of the two is a rescue and is extremely chill and friendly to all other dogs. The bigger dog can be sensitive with other dogs sniffing his butt but the most he does is bark at them to move away. He usually minds his own space and doesn't play with other dogs much but also doesn't bother them.

About: I have experience in cat sitting with clients, some of them had anxious cats that were more on the spicy side. I gained their trust and surprised their owners when they found out how close and cuddly they got with me, that's my quality. I don't expect every cat to open all of their boundaries and I respect doing what they want. 😸 I am known to socialize with the cats outside of just feeding them and cleaning their litterbox. I have had 3 cats of my own, 2 which have been elderly cats who needed medicine and careful care. 💊 I am very good at administering meds and staying consistent. I have had two dogs which both crossed the rainbow bridge from elderly age (a malamute and a newfoundland). I am an equal cat and dog lover! I would love to have a dog again one day. I walk with a cane so I am comfortable walking small dogs. 🐶 I have a very flexible schedule since I work from home. I can stop by any time in the mornings, afternoons, and also early evenings. When going to a client's home, I am very careful when entering and exiting the home when the door opens. I also do a head count of any cats including my own before leaving a house. I know from my own pet that they like to get curious and can suddenly go into a bathroom or closet and can get closed in. Just like my teaching days - taking head counts is important! I also watch the pets as they eat especially if there are multiple in a house so that they don't overeat by sneaking snacks from their pet buddies food.
