About: Have administered specialized medicine to senior animals for ongoing diseases such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. Was very diligent nursing my senior kitty before he passed. I work and go to school so my schedule varies but I always have some nights and mornings free each week that I would love to use on animals. I understand and respect animals boundaries and try my best not to encroach them. I've also mastered the "foot as barrier" approach when opening doors.

“Our 100lb Bernese Mountain dog loved Kailey from the first time they met! Her detailed report card and multiple photos gave us peace of mind while we were away for the day. I know our dog would love to see her again whenever we are out of town!”

“I wasn't sure what to expect from my two.. but everything was great! I love the pics and the "bathroom" updates. Joe is great with the "big one..Seamus" and the "little one" warmed up after she realized Joe had food...lol!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life, have helped train family pets, and am certified as a Comfort Dog handler. I have watched dogs from the wee size of a Chihuahua to big fluffy Newfoundlands. I love using patience and kindness to ensure your pups safety and well-being. I agrew up with the high energy of Border Collies, both young and older. I have dogsat at someone's house up to 5 dogs at a time, with varying food needs and medications. I try my best to be flexible and up for anything you need to ensure your furry friend is taken care of the same way I would care for my own. From walks, to watching them in my home, I am here to help you remain confident in your dog's care. For boarding, I do have two dogs that live in residence and would be available for a meet and greet prior to booking. I work a hybrid schedule, so some days I am fully working from home and other days I am in the office and usually pop home in the early afternoon to let my dogs out and finish the day working from home. Dogs get fed before I start work and dinner when I finish. If I work from home I usually take a break outside at some point to play with the pups and after work we can do walks or dog park or hanging out in the yard. I have a fenced yard and two other pups in the home who are relatively chill. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and get lots of snuggles. My own dogs are crate-trained but rarely use them. They are often left on the living room couch when I leave, with a baby gate keeping them in. Can use crates if needed, I own a size small and a size large. My dogs are 25 and 12 pounds. The smaller of the two is a rescue and is extremely chill and friendly to all other dogs. The bigger dog can be sensitive with other dogs sniffing his butt but the most he does is bark at them to move away. He usually minds his own space and doesn't play with other dogs much but also doesn't bother them.
“Shyla was very reliable stopping in to care for my 6 cats. I didn't worry at all, except that 4 of them wouldn't come out of hiding when she came! That's not unusual, though. She left the house clean and in order. Everything was done properly. She was good at communicating with me and sent some cute pictures. I am so happy I found her and have another trip coming up, so I hope she is available! Shyla, please let me know if there is anything that would make your visits easier or if you have any suggestions for me. Thank you!”

About: (I go by Dakota, so some reviews might call me that) I started off pet sitting for neighbors when I was about 14. I would feed, let out, and walk the dogs, and feed and clean cat litter boxes as needed. I moved up to dog sitting for family friends, old coworkers, and coworkers’ clients about three years ago, where I would do the same, and even bathe dogs if needed. I have experience pet sitting rodents and reptiles as well! I am currently not working a job, so I have all the time to give your babies the love and attention they need and deserve! I have experience with body language in dogs, so I can always tell when your baby is happy, upset, or uncomfortable. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, no problem! I can take your fur baby on a secure leash outside!

About: As a teacher, patience, responsibility, and building trust are part of who I am every day. I naturally create calm, positive relationships and understand that every dog, just like every child, has a unique personality and deserves individualized care. Since I'm on summer break, I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet the time and attention they deserve rather than rushing through visits. Whether it's an energetic walk, extra playtime, or simply providing companionship, I strive to make every dog feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to give you peace of mind by treating your dog like family. 🐾 As a teacher on summer break, I have a flexible daily and weekly schedule, allowing me to prioritize consistent, reliable pet care, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I care for pets with patience, attention, and love—ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and happy through reliable walks, playtime, feeding routines, and gentle companionship.
“Shawn is reliable and communicates in a timely manner. This was our first time using Rover and Shawn came daily for 2 weeks for our cats. Our cat litter box and their dishes were as clean as we left them upon our return. We would definitely use Shawn again.”

About: I’ve taken care of French bulldogs since I was 16 years old. I tend bond quickly with animals and have patience with animals that are aggressive or overly anxious. I’ve good with cats and dogs, as well as exotic pets like ferret's. I am currently working a full time job, and am also a college student dispite this I am quite good about time management. I care for my own cat and frequently help out with my sisters dogs that need to be walked and watched. When previously working for her I take the dogs for average of 3 walks one in the morning, then afternoon, then night. When it comes to pet care I will be able to do basically anything needed. If an animals needs to be put in the crate I am easily able to do so. If a pet were to get dirty I am good with cleaning if needed. I am a very determined individual who can cut stubborn animals nails if needed, but I also am good with animals who have issues. As I have experience with owning an aggressive dog myself.

“Jack did a great job with my 2 dogs. I was concerned because my Great Dane was a bit on edge from all the fireworks on the 4th, but Jack put my mind at ease with pics of them playing in the yard. Will definately book again.”

About: I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes. I am willing to do whatever is needed to provide the best care for the animals, no matter their specific needs. I am currently in school, so I have a specific schedule, but I still have some time available. I am able to be flexible and make things work. I am very involved in the care of my own cats and will do whatever is asked of me by clients to take the best care of their cats. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.
“Your Review Michelle Z. took care of my two cats, one of which is totally blind. I knew the first time I met Michelle, she was the right person for the job, but she far exceeded my expectations. She helped me troubleshoot getting rid of uninvited guests to the food bowls, volunteered to come for extra visits when the need arose, washed out the wet food cans before throwing in the recyclable bin and she kept the house, the floors, the litter boxes and the food bowls spic-and-span. I highly recommend Michelle, and will request her in the future, Lee R.”

“Leslie is a compassionate animal lover who provided outstanding care for my cat. She always had great communication, providing plenty of adorable photos and thorough updates. She is detail-oriented, going above and beyond to make sure all of our pet and home-related needs are met. Knowing I had someone so genuine and reliable looking after my pet and home was a huge peace of mind. I came back home to a happy, satisfied cat and a clean space with everything left in place. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
