About: DOGMOM to one lucky 1.5 year old Lab/Pitty crazy boy Zakah! :) I am a locally-based animal lover who is seeking the opportunity to provide top-notch care for your furry friends! With my part-time schedule as a dental assistant, I have plenty of time to give your furry friend the playtime they deserve! Very available on the weekends ! Pets are like family members, so ensuring their safety is essential for me. With my certification in human CPR, I believe I can adapt my skills to perform CPR on animals as well.

“Haley has walked our dog a few times now and she’s awesome! Great communication, always provides updates and is punctual. Our dog is super comfortable with Haley and we will continue to have her walk our dog when she’s available!”

About: I have had dogs and other animals since childhood. I currently have 3 dogs of my own and my neighbors rely on me to care for their two dogs when they are away. I am a teacher with summers off, opening up my schedule completely for dog walking. I am available at all times and look forward to working with you and meeting your animals! I am interested in dog walking. I have a large supply of leashes, poop bags, and water bottles/dishes for mid-walk water breaks. I also have a fenced in backyard if any dogs would like to come over and play with my 3 dogs.

“Steph took great care of my two Shibas - meds, walk, water, food, pets. My two dogs aren't the easiest to walk (they aren't great on a leash and one is hesitant around new people). Steph took the time required to treat them as if they were her own. *This was my first time to use Rover. Would definitely recommend Steph!”

“Caroline is super sweet and very attentive with Patches. Always checks in, sends updates and is always available/responsive! Even cleans his wet food dishes after she feeds him, very sweet 😊 Highly recommend ! Thank you Caroline!”

About: Hello there! My name is Kevin. I am an animal lover working remotely with a flexible schedule. I can work from anywhere with a good internet connection. I will be there for your pets as needed and keep you informed about the experience. My sister also works from Rover and she communicated that there was a need for local and committed dog walkers in the Somersworth/Dover area. What a great idea! If you're looking for a local dog walker who can commit to walks or drop-ins around set days every week, I'm happy to help with that. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. If the stay is from Monday to Friday, I only need a strong internet connection to work remotely. ~ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ~ We will review anything you'd like before you leave, and I will do my best to accommodate. Below I will outline what to expect from each service to reduce confusion: ~HOUSESITTING The housesitting rate covers you for 24 hours. I would be coming to your home to watch over it and care for your pet(s) most hours of the day + overnight. I can also water your plants, check your mail, receive packages, and do light cleaning – whatever you need! - One to three walks/day or a few potty breaks in the yard for dogs - Clean cat litter box - Feed + water them - Play + cuddle with them - Pic or video updates -Meet and Greets Before any house sitting, I’d like to have a meet and greet to make sure we are a good fit. Long-distant meet + greets $25 for 10–20 miles away $50 for 20–45 miles away Let’s set something up if you’re interested! ~DROP-IN VISITS I will be dropping by for 30-60 minutes to check in on your pet(s): - Let dogs out for a potty break - Clean cat litter box - Feed + water them - Play + cuddle with them - Pic or video updates ~DOG WALKING I would be coming to your house to take your dog(s) for a 30 - 60-minute walk in your neighborhood.

About: I've been an animal lover ever since getting my first dog Brutus at seven years old. Family and friends have entrusted me to sit and care for their pets since I was a teenager. My family has always had dogs, but I grew to become a cat person after meeting my now wife whose family had many. We eventually took one of the family cats Kira after moving into a new home. My wife and I adopted our current dog Lily in 2018, which was my first experience raising a puppy. I regularly dog sit other family members' dogs at our home, where we enjoy playing catch in the backyard and going for walks in the woods. I work for myself part time, and therefore have a very flexible schedule. I can make myself available for almost any weekday time slot, especially during normal business hours. I am responsible with a calm demeanor and will work with you to gain a thorough understanding of your needs in order to develop a strong relationship with your pet.

About: Welcome to my profile! When you choose my services you can rest assured that I am fully invested in the peace of mind of your pet + will pay close attention to every detail about them + their routine. I am very responsive + never consider any requests for further details about my visits to be inconvenient. I am a professional dog walker/trainer who can mindfully manage walking dogs of any temperament, age, breed, and size. I can confidently walk any dog even if you consider him/her to be a challenge! Not only that but I have the expertise to care for your cats, birds, guinea pigs, etc, due to my background as a professional pet sitter. I know how difficult it is find a compassionate + reliable caretaker who pays attention to details while giving you peace of mind with detailed communication throughout each booking. Because of my genuine love of pets + the ongoing education I've received I've been able to make connections with every dog , cat, bird, rabbit, etc, because I pay attention their individual likes + dislikes + accommodate our time together accordingly. I am primarily only available in downtown Dover, NH, but may be able to accommodate outside of town if the schedule permits. Dog Walking: I can confidently walk your dog even if he/she struggles with confidence, pulling, + reactivity! I am experienced in walking new puppies as well as seniors by taking it slow + by noticing body language + so I can adapt accordingly. Please note that if you want to board your dog at my home, your dog must be well socialized due to the fact that I have a 20 lb border terrier + meeting ahead of the booking is required. Other Pets: I've had lots of experience taking care of cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, chickens, bearded dragons, and rabbits! I love them all! Meet + Greet: A Meet + Greet in your home is a priority before we get started with scheduling visits to give us a chance to get to know each other. I will ask for a brief tour of your home so I can know where their food, litter boxes, etc, are located + I'll test the keys for peace of mind. Another bonus of hiring me is that I will perform basic home care tasks such as watering plants, bringing trash to/from the curb, + alternating lights + blinds for a lived in look at no extra cost! Scheduling: Check my schedule to confirm availability and/or shoot me a message! I am a 1 person operation which means that nobody else shares visits with me so that your pet(s) will be relaxed without the confusion of multiple people coming over. Cat visits: EVERY DAY visits rather than "every other day" visits for peace of mind. I am primarily providing service in South Berwick, + some parts of Rollinsford + Dover but there may be exceptions to travel further so please ask. I adjust my schedule according to your pet's schedule as closely as possible. I am cautious about ensuring that dogs do not back out of collars/harnesses so they will be adjusted if necessary. If I notice your dog is triggered by other dogs, people, etc, I will reverse directions or cross the street to avoid any reactivity. Dogs must be indoors in between visits for safety reasons. Pet sitting isn't a hobby but a passion. I love what I do!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was about 11 when my family got our two dogs. From then on I was tasked with walking them, playing with them, feeding them, bathing them, cleaning their ears, taking them to the groomers, etc. I have also been tasked with taking care for family friend’s dogs multiple times. I am currently a senior in college with a light course load. I have no classes Monday or Wednesday and never have any classes after 1:45pm. I am also available at least one day most weekends. I am very active and completely willing to walk, run, and/or play as much as your dog wants. I also have experience in crate training and am comfortable handling dogs who are being crate trained.

“I’m writing a testimonial as Kevin’s sister. :) Kevin has always loved dogs since he was a little kid and dogs always seem to love them in return. We grew up with a few golden retrievers so he’s been around bigger dogs most of his life. He’s also had roommates with dogs, had done some dog walks and housesitting for clients, and is always looking for opportunities to be around dogs more often! He’s also responsible and has a steady job that allows him to work from home and make his own schedule.”

“Jeanette is great! She is a good communicator and does an awesome job walking our dog.”

April M.
“Highly recommend! I'm retired so my Italian Greyhound, Joey, is used to having me home almost 24/7 so I was worried how he'd do with only 3x a day visits. April promised that if he acted needy she would stay longer than quoted & she did that many times! Joey looked happy & rested upon my return!”

Summer S.
“I recommend Summer S. as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She has been caring for our pets, which include one cat, two dogs, and six chickens, for the past sixteen years. She adores animals, and is considered the “animal-whisperer” in our family. She takes on the responsibility of making sure all animals are fed and receiving appropriate amounts of attention. When she is home she takes on the task of trimming Daisy the Cat’s nails and giving her her daily thyroid medicine. She has also taken the dogs to the vet and the groomer when asked, as well as being in charge of them when home alone for extended periods. She has also befriended the chickens, with her being the first person in the household whom they approached and sat on when she sat with them. I would recommend Summer S. to anyone looking for a pet sitter or walker.”
