About: Hi! I’m Keira, a 21 year old lifelong dog lover from Chattanooga (Soddy-Daisy/Lakesite area) who’s completely obsessed with giving dogs the best care possible! I only take one house-sitting booking at a time so I can give your home and your pets my complete love and attention. Your fur babies will be my whole world while you’re away — I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and very loved every single day! I had the privilege of caring for my soul dog Charley (a mini schnauzer) for almost 10 years. During that time I learned so much about loving and caring for dogs — including giving daily subcutaneous fluids when he needed them. Because of him, I’m especially gentle and patient with senior dogs, but I also adore puppies and their endless energy! I’m very loving, attentive, and flexible with scheduling. Whether you need daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I treat every dog like they’re my own. Your fur baby will get lots of cuddles, playtime, and genuine affection while you’re away. I’d be honored to care for your dog (or cat! I’m very good with cats although I do have fewer years of experience with them!) Feel free to message me with any questions 💕 I’m currently between jobs so all of my focus is on animal care! I have a super open schedule so your furry friend will get so much attention and love!! I can’t offer care from my home, I live with too many people and would hate to stress out your pet, but I can come and stay in your home, whether it be overnight or drop-ins. I’m very good about feeding on time, watching the water bowl, giving frequent potty breaks, and taking a few walks throughout the day. I will also adhere to any special requests you may have for your pup!
“Carrie did a fantastic job looking after our two cats while we traveled to OH for our daughter’s wedding. We were gone a week and had never been away from them for that long, so I was quite worried. Carrie fed them, cleaned their little box and played with them. She also provided great photos, which is always reassuring. I would definitely hire Carrie again. The cats seemed to love her!”

“Kurstyn has been amazing! She always shows up right on time and keeps me updated throughout the visit, which I really appreciate. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing Zoe is in good hands.”
“Abagail was great. Showed up on time and communicated with a detailed narrative of the visit. Also included pictures. Great communicator. Will definitely call on her again. Thanks”

“I never left my cat before with anyone. I had to make last minute plans and turned to Rover based on a referral from a friend. My cat is my everything and I was so nervous. I read how a rover sitter is screened including a background check and the employees are bonded. I looked closely at each available persons profile and decided on Monica. From our very first interaction Monica was accommodating, friendly, attentive, and understanding. Her communication skills were on point. In the future I will use Rover and most importantly Monica. She is wonderful in every meaning of the word. I came home to my cat being healthy and happy. I would score higher than a 5 if possible!”

“Emily is such an amazing person. She helped us out in a tight spot with our daughter’s dog sitter canceling last minute, while also house sitting and dog sitting our shepherd. She truly went above and beyond! She’s so friendly, kind, and caring. She’s very professional and knowledgeable about pets, as well. Our house looked the exact same way we left it, and our dogs were happy and healthy, when we returned home from our trip! Emily is easy to love and has a huge heart for pets and people❤️ We will hire her every chance we get, bc she is truly the best we’ve had to care for our pets and our home while we were away. Give Emily a try and you won’t regret it!! She is incredible!!!”

“Crystal was very sweet to our senior cat. She was happy to give her medication and check on her while we were away. We returned to a happy kitty and a tidy house. Thank you, Crystal!”

“Kari did a fantastic job checking up on my two cats while I was out of the country. She even took pics which I know is not an easy task with my cats…they’re either elusive or constantly moving. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Kari for her services again in the future.”

“She was always on time and easy to communicate with. Great with my feline and left in-app notes to let me know how the visit went if there were any issues/concerns. Def recommend to others!”

“Casey, Luigi, and co are absolutely amazing! They are very professional, respectful, and timely. We received updates with every check-in on our pup. We loved seeing the pictures and videos of our dog playing and happy. Highly recommend these awesome, dependable people!”
“Sarah took care of my 2 cats while I was away. Not only did she pill my cat when she didn’t take her meds, she also spent as much time as she could with my fur babies and gave them plenty of attention!”

“Steven was able to drop in last minute for me and provided updates and photos and made it seem like it wasn’t an inconvenience at all and I was so appreciative at how Professional and enthusiastic he is for his clients! Monte and I love him!!!”

This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, medication administration, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I am available most weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Every animal is unique, so I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs before care begins. About: I’ve spent my entire life learning what it means to have a pet and how to treat all animals with compassion and care! In my house, pets are family and should be treated as such. My love of animals has led me to adopt a dog from the shelter, foster dogs, and open my home to any pets of family, roommates, and visiting friends. Now, after 20 years of numerous experiences with pets of various nature, I feel comfortable handling even the most energetic, difficult, and unique pets. Most of my experience is with handling dogs but I also have experience handling cats, rodents, fish, and amphibians. As for my experience with dogs, I have studied dog behavior for approximately 4 years and have handled nursing dogs, puppies, skittish dogs, aggressive dogs, and older dogs, large and small. My older dog is an adult chow mix who I have owned for over 5 years now and my younger pup I adopted into my pack recently once I started dating his dad. The younger pup is a gentle 3 year old black lab/pit mix. Both of my dogs love to have a house filled with other animals offering your companion play time and cuddles! Currently, I am only offering services in other’s homes, but hope to offer boarding in my home again soon. Please contact me with any pet walking, check in visits, and boarding inquires. I am currently on break until the beginning of next year as I am a graduate student getting my doctorate in physical therapy. Therefore, I am able to care for your dog most of the day outside of the time I’ll be spending with my pups at home and running errands. If you’d like another dog for your pup to play with I am happy to bring my pup along! I try to cater my care to the pup and owner’s needs. If you’re looking for your pup to get plenty of outdoor time, cuddle time, or play time, I’m happy to offer all these services and any other services which may be necessary for your companion. Ultimately, I want your furry friend to feel safe and comfortable until you are able to come home to care for them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
