About: I grew up on a 500 acre farm in Sebastopol. I have always loved taking care of animals and have had cats and dogs as pets all my adult life. As a professional nanny and Family Assistant, I often care for my charges animals, taking them for walks, letting them in and out, throwing a ball around, taking them on little hikes or just playing at home. Talia did such an amazing job taking care of my beautiful dog Phoenix and my sweet little cat Sadie while I was on vacation in Michigan with my family. Phoenix got lots of exercise and hiking adventures and Sadie got lots of love. Talia was very communicative with me and sent photos of my sweet pets regularly, and my home was spotless when I returned. Would definitely ask Talia to watch my pets again. Five stars! I am so glad I found Lydia. She went above and beyond. She even helped my sister when she needed to find some things at the apt for me. She sent photos and updates everyday. She took Rosco for a lot of walks, out to the park and to run errands with her. I really feel like she treated him like her own pup.
Juliana was a fantastic pet- and house-sitter. She took our dog on many fun outings and spent lots of time with her. Our dog actually seemed a little sad to have Juliana leave at the end of the week-long stay. Juliana took great care of the house as well, and communicated extremely well when a couple of minor issues came up. We highly recommend Juliana without any hesitation.
We could not have asked for a better cat sitter than Marilee, she not only took exceptional care of our kitten, but also went above and beyond to ensure he was stimulated and happy while we were away. She brought him things like string toys and newspapers to play with- which kept him really active and entertained. In addition to her A++ care, she also was great communicating with us. Susan was amazing. We were very concerned about leaving our three dogs for the first time in years especially our 16 yr old with health issues. However, Susan did an incredible job handling the special needs of all three dogs from food issues to medications. On our first meet and greet we could see she was truly an animal lover and had the patience and disposition we were looking for as a dog/house sitter. This was the second time that Kathryn has watched over Peanut. We never have to worry when she watches over our kitten. Peanut is always so comfortable and playful with Kathryn - it makes it easier to enjoy our time away when we know she is in such good hands. Not only does Kathryn take great care of Peanut, our house is somehow always more sparkling when we return which makes for a great homecoming.
We feel like we hit the jackpot when we discovered Claire! And we would not hesitate to book her again to stay with our two pets!!! Claire came by ahead of time for a meet-and-greet, and even our kids immediately loved her. They actually asked if she could come back and babysit, which she very kindly offered to do. While we were away, Claire sent photos and videos of our dog and cat, and clearly gave our pets loads of TLC. Our cat, who is usually pretty fussy with strangers, seemed completely relaxed and happy, which says everything!!! Our coonhound can also be a handful on walks and Claire handled her without a single issue all week!! When we got back from our trip late at night, the pets were calm and cozy, and it was such a relief to walk in and feel like everything had been so well cared for. We had such peace of mind with Claire at our house, looking after our pets, and we look forward to working with her again soon. Thanks again, Claire!!!!
