About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise

Cory was excellent! We did a meet and greet before the stay to go over feeding, medications and questions. She arrived exactly on time, which is unusual in this day/age. Was not phased that my dog(s) are pitties. Left for my trip a bit apprehensive about having a new dog/house sitter... but hopeful. I received pictures daily! I came home to a happy, perky pup and a clean place. Definitely will ask (or beg) Cory to come back:-) Looking forward to my next trip!
We could not have asked for a better cat sitter than Marilee, she not only took exceptional care of our kitten, but also went above and beyond to ensure he was stimulated and happy while we were away. She brought him things like string toys and newspapers to play with- which kept him really active and entertained. In addition to her A++ care, she also was great communicating with us. Parke was great with our two dogs and with us. He was responsive, timely, responsible, and professional. He sent photos every day and sommunciated with us as needed. We returned to a clean, orderly house and two happy, healthy dogs. I would definitely book with Parke again.
Susan was amazing. We were very concerned about leaving our three dogs for the first time in years especially our 16 yr old with health issues. However, Susan did an incredible job handling the special needs of all three dogs from food issues to medications. On our first meet and greet we could see she was truly an animal lover and had the patience and disposition we were looking for as a dog/house sitter. We would highly recommend Susan to anyone who is looking for to care for their fur babies while out of town. We will definitely be using Susan again!
Our first experience with Rover... and we couldn't have met a nicer person or a more wonderful dog sitter. Ariela was so patient with our twin Maltese pups. She was right on time for the meet and greet as she was for the dog sitting appointment. Ariela stayed in touch with us leading up to.the assignment and gave us an update early on that evening. We feel like we hit the jackpot when we discovered Claire! And we would not hesitate to book her again to stay with our two pets!!! Claire came by ahead of time for a meet-and-greet, and even our kids immediately loved her. They actually asked if she could come back and babysit, which she very kindly offered to do. While we were away, Claire sent photos and videos of our dog and cat, and clearly gave our pets loads of TLC. Our cat, who is usually pretty fussy with strangers, seemed completely relaxed and happy, which says everything!!! Our coonhound can also be a handful on walks and Claire handled her without a single issue all week!! When we got back from our trip late at night, the pets were calm and cozy, and it was such a relief to walk in and feel like everything had been so well cared for. We had such peace of mind with Claire at our house, looking after our pets, and we look forward to working with her again soon. Thanks again, Claire!!!!
