I usually have overnight pet sitting. I request a schedule they already have for their pet/pets that I can follow. Feeding times, bathroom, and exercises their pets are comfortable with. I also request vet and emergency phone numbers. Phone numbers of neighbors they trust is always nice.

A typical day
If allowed, I will take them to dog parks. When walking dogs, I will vary the routes, so they can enjoy new sights and smells. I can play fetch, if there is a yard or open park/field near by. I can also drive them to new walking areas, if owners approve.

Pet care experience
Pets have been an important part of our family for over 50 years. We have raised a Basenji, a couple of labs, cute mutts, many cats, even squirrels. During the last year, I have been pet and house sitting for others, who have requested me back many times when they are away. I give their pets the same care and love I give my pets. Currently, we have three adorable and loving cats roaming our home. I have also cared for My mother, mother and father in law and my husband in my home full time during their declining years.

Pat was wonderful! She stepped up for me at the last minute and took loving care of my pup and home for the weekend. She sent photos and even indulged my pups fussy diet. I will definitely call on her in the future.
Pat stepped in and coordinated a smooth transition of care with my previous cat sitter when I was stranded and unable to return home in time. She went above and beyond to work with me to make sure my cat was cared for and not left alone, and offered extra time with my cat, support, and reassurance when I was panicked and stuck a second time at the airport. So grateful for her care, highly recommend!
We were so grateful Pat was able to take a last-minute booking for our sweet, elderly dog, and she couldn’t have taken better care of him. We’ll definitely book with her again. Thank you!
