About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of three girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with most dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. Probably the only animals I would not be comfortable with are mice and rats. To each their own, of course. I love to spend time with new animals. Depending of course on how friendly yours are, I like to do more than just feed them and walk them. If your cats or dogs like to play, then I am the person you want. I have my own three cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. I do this and other gig jobs, so my schedule is pretty flexible. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own three are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are not so busy with traffic, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority. I do not mix animals from different families. It's stressful enough that they are around a new person.

About: I love animals, but dogs just have my heart. I have had many pet dogs in my life. One whom was born sick; she had a sever type of mange and i had to give medication daily and bathe frequently. That was never a problem to me. I currently have two fur babies, one that i found on the street that someone had thrown and one that i adopted. My fur baby that was found on the street has a problem with his hips and I try my best to keep him comfortable. ALL animals are beautiful! Hello Fur Parents! Need someone to have a companion the whole time you’re gone ? I got it, i’m always home! I am a full time momma trying to make a little extra cash to help my husband. Before staying home, I was in the Medical Field as a CNA/Phlebotomist but left that behind to stay home with my newborn baby! My husband is off (Fri. - Sun.) so he helps me on weekends which are my busiest. We’re a team! I have a home that has a backyard that is securely fenced and is pretty specious for your babies to burn all that energy out. I also have two of my own fur babies who are the most loving and playful that have what feels like a million toys who are waiting to be shared with.

About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!

About: I have owned a pet for 16 years so I have a very good knowledge of animal care. I have two personal dog and many family pets! I’d love to watch your fur buddy! About: I adore taking care of pets! I’ve owned just about every animals myself including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, a hedgehog, and have taken care of farm animals my entire life. I have deep love for animals and would love to have another dog of my own some day soon. For now I enjoy regularly pet-sitting for friends. About: I’ve had animals my whole life, but the past 5 years I’ve loved and taken care of many animals under the sun. Whether they are young or old, exotic or domestic, I give them the same type of love they would feel from you. I make sure to follow similar routine structure that you give your babies, including certain ear scratches they love, specific walks they like, and I make sure to send lots of updates and pictures throughout the sitting time. 🐾 I make sure to structure drop-ins at the beginning of the day at a time your pet is used to eating/going potty as well as the evening for the same needs. I am currently at a job where I can choose when I work, so if an emergency pet sitting is needed to be booked I’d be able to move things around for your animals! When doing a drop-in/overnight stays I like to follow a similar routine to how you care for your pet, that way there is no extra stress on them while you’re away. A typical drop in includes so much love as I come in through the front door, with lots of cuddles and petting. Then, I will do a walk through of the areas open to the pet to check for any possible accidents/things that need to be cleaned up. I’ll refresh the water bowls, feed them if it’s their time to be fed, and walk them if they are typically walked. I also try my best to play with their favorite toys if they have them, and give them specific pets that I know they like to make them feel more comfortable. An example would be this cute Doberman I watch named Deizel, he loves his dad rocking in the living room chair and being pet with his dad’s foot while they watch some TV. So, I try to incorporate these little moments full of love into my pet sits and rock in the chair the same way Diezel is used to his dad doing. :) Same thing with a cute chihuahua named Franky, who is used to his dad telling him exactly where he is going before he leaves the house and covering him up with his favorite blanket. All of these small gestures of love is what I think makes the pets time more comfortable as their owners are away, because it reminds them of their mom or dad and does not disrupt their day to day life as much when they are being sat for. :)

About: I’ve taken care of every animal imaginable. I am good with all animals, and am comfortable enough in my skills to ensure I can be your favorite pet-sitter! I am available pretty much all the time. I have school on Tuesdays, but that’s it. I am good for overnight pet sitting, potty breaks during the day, walking, and anything else you can imagine!
