“Ashlee was great as always with my fur baby. This time was a little different as we had to say goodbye to Kindle 2 days before Ashlee came to stay with Duece. I am so glad she was with him as he was going through grieving his sister. Ashlee you are so appreciated and thank you.....”

“She was amazing, she took my baby to get her puppy cup and also sent pictures throughout the day. My baby is quite shy and she was really patient with her 💕 I'll definitely recommend Katherine and I'll be booking again.”

About: I’ve pay attention to dogs personalities and enjoy surrounding myself with animals. Nothing more brings me joy than a happy pet! I can teach dogs tricks especially if they’re food motivated it’s fun to see how clever they are. I’m working part-time unfortunately right now I can’t house any dogs unless they are smaller/lapdogs. I am willing to housesit and have a vehicle to provide guaranteed transport. I live next to a park that’s friendly for dogs and I’m available to walk them just about anytime. To care in your home I’m willing to go to dog parks or long walks in the neighbor to reach their needs.
“Dominique did an amazing job with Johnny! She was very communicative and made sure I knew about all the adventures she and Johnny went on. She was very attentive to Johnny’s care, and I definitely felt at ease knowing she was there to sit with him, play with him, and enjoy his goofy personality. Highly recommend and will absolutely rebook!”

About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!
“If you need a pet sitter, do not look elsewhere! Tatum goes above and beyond for your pets and home! She’s incredible to work with! She helped us with an issue at our house when we were gone, all while providing the best possible care for our dogs. I never once worried about our dogs as I knew they were in the best hands!”

“Kathryn was great. She communicated with me beautifully and sent pictures. More importantly my dogs were very happy. One has bad separation anxiety but, it didn’t seem too bad this time. I would most definitely book Kathryn again and recommend her to anyone else looking for a sitter!!”

“Victoria was amazing! I had her housesit for my puppy and cat while I was away for a weekend and everything went so smoothly. She sent a ton of pics and event left Dixie (my pup) the cutest treat when she left.”

“She did great with my dog and followed the instructions I left perfectly. I loved that she sent pictures everyday with updates at least twice a day. Will be booking again if needed.”

“Jordan did an amazing job taking care of our babies! She sent us pictures and video while we were gone and kept us updated the whole time! We came home to happy fur babies! She even fed our fish while we were gone and didn’t have to! Thank you Jordan! We will definitely book you again!”

“This was Courtney's first time to sit for me. She was very attentive to my babies and sent me photos on a daily basis. I appreciate her care and we'll be using her in the future!”
“Isabella took care of my cat for 5 days, and both she and her partner were incredibly kind, polite, and flexible. Whenever I asked, they sent me photos and videos of my cat and kept me updated about how he was doing. Thanks to them, I felt much more relaxed and comfortable while I was away from my little cat. I truly appreciate their care and support.”

About: I grew up with large dogs -Cane Corsos, Mountain Malamutes, German Shepherds, Great Danes, etc.- all my life. From small dogs full of energy to gentle giants, I take the time to get to know your fur family's needs so their routine is comfortable, consistent, and stress-free while you're away 🐶❤️ I'm a full-time student with Rover as my part-time job year round and during peak holiday periods; I do drop-in visits, house sitting, and walks! My personal schedule fluctuates frequently which provides an incredibly flexible schedule based on your fur children's routines. 🛑 🗓️ I do require at least a weeks notice for bookings and can't guarantee last minute scheduling. 🛑 🏠 I cannot provide boarding in my home. I prefer going to where the pets are the most comfortable for their care, in their own home. 🏠 At your home, I prefer to have every detail possible to make sure your fur family's routine is being upheld from administering medicine, outside time, to minimal home care such as watching over plants. 💊 If your fur children have specific needs (senior, kitten, puppy, surgery recovery, etc.), I'd love to open up a conversation on how I can make them feel the most comfortable while you're away.
“Shayla is probably one of the best sitters we’ve had in a long time. Attentive, communicative, respectful and caring! Samson and Dotty were truly spoiled with her here and I know they were very happy with all the attention from their new friend!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was a kid. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and watch their pets. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, shy dogs, and energetic pups. I make sure each pet gets personalized care, attention, and affection based on their unique needs. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of free time throughout the week to focus on caring for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends, daily walks, drop-ins, and flexible scheduling to match your pet’s routine. Your pet will always get consistent attention, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I provide a safe and comfortable environment with a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love company. I always supervise outdoor time, follow any feeding or medication instructions carefully, and can crate your dog if you prefer or if it helps them feel secure. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and cared for.
About: I’ve been watching animals for ~8 years now, but I’ve had my own animals since birth! I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, cows, chickens, goats, fish, and more. Family friends and neighbors rely on me for help with their animals. I work a full time job, but am available in the mornings, evenings, weekends, and for overnights! I will always work to make time for your animals! I do drop ins and stay with pets frequently in other peoples home. I am consistent with my care and love to meet new animals.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember—starting at just 10 years old with our family pets. Growing up in a home with 7 dogs and 1 cat has given me hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities, needs, and care routines. I’ve helped raise puppies from their earliest stages all the way into adulthood. Because of this, I understand how important it is to provide pets with patience, consistency, and lots of love. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and routine-oriented, I’m confident in my ability to keep them safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a full-time teacher, which means I have a structured and dependable schedule throughout the school year (Unavailable from 7am-4pm). During the summer months, I do not work, so I have much more flexibility and availability. I’m available during weekdays and Saturdays to provide any pet care assistance you may need, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to ensure your pets are well taken care of. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medications if needed, and preferred exercise routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while also respecting their individual personalities and energy levels.
“We couldn't be happier with the services Savannah provided! She was very communicative throughout the weekend and was also very accommodating with some last minute changes. The boys loved her! We will definitely be hiring her again!”

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. She went above and beyond to make sure my girls were comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. She kept me updated and truly treated them like her own, which gave me so much peace of mind. My girls came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely cares. 10/10!!

Julia is an absolute pro at caring for dogs. I have multiple, and she is very detail oriented and writes down everything that is needed as far as care. She stayed at my house while I was traveling for work and did an extraordinary job, and would want to recommend her to everyone, but that would only make her less available to me. She is outstanding, courteous, trustworthy, and polite. And above all else loves dogs and has had years experience, caring for them, and gives them lots of attention and affection. She is amazing!

Danielle was fantastic! She took such great care of my pet and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She was incredibly responsible and always responsive—any time I had a question, she got back to me quickly. I especially appreciated the daily updates with photos, which showed my baby eating well and looking happy. It was clear Danielle truly cared and went the extra mile. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive petsitter!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Broadview on Rover is $35.52 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 252 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Broadview. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Broadview walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Broadview maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Broadview choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Broadview. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
