“If 10 stars was an option Victoria definitely earned it! This was my first experience with Rover and I cannot emphasize enough how AMAZING victoria was! I have two dogs: one was pregnant at the time and needed a little TLC, and the other was a very active 1.5yr old. Victoria took care of them like I would and some! I was nervous at first since this was the first time they were going to be cared for by someone other than friends or family, but I tell you what, I'll be booking Victoria for ALL of my work trips now!!! She would send me pictures every morning and evening and often in the middle of the day as well! She collected my mail for me and even swept the floors! She also took care of them and walked the active one a bit before my late plane flight arrived so they wouldn't be pinging off the walls while I tried to catch up on sleep. I bragged about Victoria and Rover to all my work colleagues when I would get an update; I'm sure they are sick of me talking about it but this by far has been the best pet experience I have ever had! About: I’ve pay attention to dogs personalities and enjoy surrounding myself with animals. Nothing more brings me joy than a happy pet! I can teach dogs tricks especially if they’re food motivated it’s fun to see how clever they are. I’m working part-time unfortunately right now I can’t house any dogs unless they are smaller/lapdogs. I am willing to housesit and have a vehicle to provide guaranteed transport. I live next to a park that’s friendly for dogs and I’m available to walk them just about anytime. To care in your home I’m willing to go to dog parks or long walks in the neighbor to reach their needs.

About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!

About: I have a lot more experience doing check-in visits and house sitting. I have been house sitting and doing check-in visits for an elderly dog when needed for two years. I have only boarded once for two weeks and it was a great experience! The dog I took care of became a part of our little family when she was with us! I do not mind picking up messes, giving medication if needed, and paying special attention to animals that may require extra duties. I love animals so much! I promise to love your animals just like I love my own! I hope to be hearing from you soon! I am currently a stay at home mom looking to bring in some additional income. I have plenty of time during my days to pet sit or do drop ins. I have a cat and a 3 year old. My animals are never left unsupervised with each other or my child. I can set them up in our large bathroom if that’s what the family wants. However, I prefer them to have free roam of the house when I am home which is a majority of the time. I would take on daily walks around my apartment complex so you will need to provide collar or harness and a leash. I am available most of the day so potty breaks can occur as frequently as every 2 hours.

“Kayla was fantastic!! I absolutely recommend hiring her and plan to rebook her for our future vacations. It’s always scary/nerve racking hiring someone new to take care of your fur babies and house sit but Kayla was great! She came by twice before our trip. Once to meet the fur babies and get acquainted with our place and then a second time right before we left to go over specifics for our animals and house. We hired her to both pet and house sit for us and when we got home our fur babies, house, plants, and packages were all very well taken care of! She was ver communicative while we were away and always responded promptly if I had any questions or wanted to check in. Not only did she house sit, but she also stayed the night at our place so our pups felt safe and comfortable sleeping. We’ve got quite a zoo and she handled all three dogs and two cats wonderfully.
