We also have a small Senegal Parrot named Pum’kin, who is 30 years old. Our “little old lady” Pum’kin can get a bit grumpy and screechy at times. Victoria did a great job with her too and sent us photos of a curious and happy Pum’kin every day. Pum’kin’s cage was spotless when we got home and Pum’kin was very calm and happy. ❤️ So, Jaxson and Pum’kin both fell in love with Victoria and we did too. We are so grateful that she was able to help us out. We’ve already booked our next trip and have complete confidence that Jaxson, Pum’kin, and our home will be very well cared for.”

It’s always scary/nerve racking hiring someone new to take care of your fur babies and house sit but Kayla was great! She came by twice before our trip. Once to meet the fur babies and get acquainted with our place and then a second time right before we left to go over specifics for our animals and house. We hired her to both pet and house sit for us and when we got home our fur babies, house, plants, and packages were all very well taken care of! She was ver communicative while we were away and always responded promptly if I had any questions or wanted to check in. Not only did she house sit, but she also stayed the night at our place so our pups felt safe and comfortable sleeping. We’ve got quite a zoo and she handled all three dogs and two cats wonderfully. All in all, she was great and I highly recommend her! I’m happy to say that I think we’ve finally found a sitter I feel comfortable and confident hiring again. Thank you, Kayla!”

I currently share my apartment with one special cat - a rescue cat named Mogwai. I've had both inside and outside dogs. I have trained several of my dogs (small breeds) so I have a fair amount of knowledge. I'm a 36 year old working from home as a retirement financial investment manager during the day. I have a lot of flexibility to be able to also take care of your pet! I think Rover is a great way to meet some cool pups and cats and help people with the many responsibilities of pet ownership. I look forward to meeting you and your pet/pets! Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work from home. I have ample flexibility to care for your fur baby. I’m an active person who like to talk walks and be outside while also loving a good pet cuddle. I ensure it is a good match between me and the animal. Generally speaking, let’s usually like me. About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all sizes my whole life. I have my own beloved dog at home and enjoy walking and watching my friends’ and family’s pets. Aside from dog sitting, I also was a veterinary technician at an emergency vet clinic so I have a lot of experience handling animals. I am confident in caring for puppies, seniors, and pets with medical needs. I can administer medication, monitor changes in behavior or health, and provide attentive care. I love spending my time with animals and helping out owners! I currently work a full time job Monday through Friday but would love to help you out in the evening and anytime on the weekends when you need! When caring for pets in the owner’s home I try my best to create an environment that is safe and comfortable for both the pets and the owners. Owners leaving can be stressful for pets so I always want to relieve some of that stress for them.
