“Ashlee was a great hire for combination house & pet sitting for 17 days while we traveled. Our dog and cat (the bunny is human indifferent) were comfortable with her from the first meeting and she continued that positive interaction with them while we were gone. She read over the pages of notes, asked good questions, and that communication continued with daily photos, status updates, and occasional questions, like how to cheer up Ozzie one evening when he looked sad and didn't want to eat. Besides sleeping in the house, I think she played with them a lot more than we do, took Ozzie for walks, spent time just being in the house with them, and really looked out for their welfare. When she dropped off the key Ozzie was SO happy to see her and acted like his favorite people were all together now! She followed requests for taking care of the plants and brought in the outdoor pots when the temp suddenly dropped. Pets and plants were happy and healthy when we returned, and the house was neat and tidy. We'd never met her before trusting her with our home and pets for 17 days, and didn't worry at all while we were away. We'll definitely contact Ashlee for future trips!!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for 18 years from small to large animals! I grew up on ranches and was raised around all kinds of animals!Neighbors and friends have relied on me to feed, bathe, and walk their pets! I’m a Texas Tech student majoring in Animal Science! All my classes usually start around 11am and end around 4:30pm, except Monday's, which are done by 11am! I have a fenced in backyard, and i currently own 1 dog which is a border collie! About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!

She managed all five medicines that he was on and actually by the time I got home he was well. She’s very responsible even did her towels and sheets before I got home and remade the bed. About: I have grown up with animals since I can remember. I have cared for all sizes and breeds and have raised a few from birth. I also have chickens and have been around livestock. I am very detail oriented and will always ask questions if I am unsure. I also work in home healthcare so I am used to taking care of pets in my patients homes. I love animals and will always treat and care for them as my own. I am starting school so I am flexible. My weekends are pretty free but I will always be available if you trust me to watch your baby! I have a fully fenced yard, plenty of room, and a barn with an ac unit if your baby likes to have their own space. I have two Dalmatians that are both neutered and very friendly. I will always have my eyes on them because I would never want to put your baby in an uncomfortable environment. My dogs are very used to being around others but are trained enough to be able to be separate areas of the house/ yard if needed.
