About: Hi, I’m Connor! My services are dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting in Lubbock. I’ve cared for dogs and cats through Rover and for neighbors, helping with walks, feeding, fresh water, cleanup, playtime, and companionship. I enjoy getting to know each pet and following the routine they’re comfortable with. I follow care instructions closely and send photos and updates so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop-in visits and can often accommodate morning, midday, and early-evening care. We’ll confirm visit times around your pet’s routine and my existing bookings. For house sitting, I’m available to stay overnight in your home. I may leave during the day for other pet-care visits or personal commitments. Before booking, we’ll agree on the overnight schedule, daytime care, and how long your pets can comfortably be alone. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, bathroom breaks, and household routines, keep fresh water available, and clean up pet-related messes. I pay close attention to doors, gates, and leashes and make sure your pets and home are secure before leaving. It’s always scary/nerve racking hiring someone new to take care of your fur babies and house sit but Kayla was great! She came by twice before our trip. Once to meet the fur babies and get acquainted with our place and then a second time right before we left to go over specifics for our animals and house. We hired her to both pet and house sit for us and when we got home our fur babies, house, plants, and packages were all very well taken care of! She was ver communicative while we were away and always responded promptly if I had any questions or wanted to check in. Not only did she house sit, but she also stayed the night at our place so our pups felt safe and comfortable sleeping. We’ve got quite a zoo and she handled all three dogs and two cats wonderfully. About: I'm a West Texas native — born here, schooled in El Paso, graduate work at Texas Tech — who spent twenty years in the Seattle area before coming home to Lubbock. I've been caring for animals professionally since 2003, most of that as All Shook Up Dogs and Design in Washington, where I served more than 200 regular clients: drop-in visits, walks, house sitting, vet and groom transport, medication administration, and senior care. Alongside it I've been a nonprofit executive director, a dance educator, and a small business owner, and I'm currently finishing a master's in art history. I hold degrees from the University of Notre Dam, Texas Tech, and Northeastern. What all of it has in common is showing up on time for people who are counting on me. My own dogs are the reason I'm good at this. I have six, and they are not decorative. We train — herding, agility, nose work, and a frankly unreasonable amount of ball. I cook for them. I study canine behavior and nutrition the way I study anything else, which is to say obsessively. I've spent years in Australian Shepherd rescue and have served on the national board of a breed rescue organization since 2012, which means I've seen what happens to smart dogs whose needs go unmet. That's why my specialty is herding breeds. A bored Aussie, Border Collie, or Heeler doesn't need another lap around the block — it needs a job. Reactive dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs with complicated medical routines are all welcome here. I work in your home so your pet keeps their own routine, their own bed, and their own smells. You'll get photos and an honest update every visit. I have full availability Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and I can take early morning and late evening visits the rest of the week around a standing commitment. Holidays are usually open — just ask. Midday and recurring visits are my sweet spot. If your dog needs a reliable lunchtime break while you're at work, I can build a standing schedule and keep it consistent week after week. I take a limited number of clients so nobody gets a rushed visit. I'm building toward pet care full-time, so my availability will keep opening up. If we're not a fit for your dates right now, ask me again in a few months. I work in your home, on your pet's schedule. Before the first visit we'll do a walk-through together — feeding, medications, where the leash lives, which door sticks, what your dog does when the doorbell rings, and who your vet is. I'd rather ask ten questions up front than guess once. Dogs stay leashed unless you've told me otherwise and the space is genuinely secure. I lock up behind me every time, and I'll bring in mail, rotate lights, and water plants so the house looks lived in while you're gone. If something seems off — a refused meal, limping, vomiting, a dog who just isn't acting like themselves — you'll hear from me right away, and I'll get to your vet or the emergency clinic if that's what's needed. Nothing gets hidden or held back for an end-of-trip summary. I have dogs of my own at home and I change clothes and wash up between households, so nothing travels from my place to yours.

About: I earned my certificate as a vet tech assistant in 2013 at Eastern New Mexico University (Roswell). I used to dog sit for a family friend for several years. I worked at Veterinary Clinic of Lubbock for 8 years and Live Oak Animal Hospital for 2 and 1/2 years. I've monitored doggy daycare, trimmed nails, given baths, restrained for vaccines in nail trims, etc. I have a cat of my own. I've worked at vet clinics for over 10 years and went to school for pet care. I used to dog sit and I sometimes walk my neighbor's dog for extra money. I just have one cat currently in my home, but I've had years of experience working with animals. I know how animals how to make animals comfortable with me.

About: I've comfortably taken care of pets with special needs, from blind pets to needing daily medicine. I can care for puppies all the way up to senior pets. I love to go on walks and can handle any situation. I’m a Texas Tech student with lots of free time, and I love caring for animals. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily work around your preferred times, from early mornings to late nights. I prioritize safety and comfort in every home. I follow the pet’s normal routine, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure food, water, and medications, if needed, are handled correctly. I always double check doors, gates, and crates to ensure pets stay secure and safe as well. As the saying goes, I always aim to leave things better than how I found them.

About: I love animals, but dogs just have my heart. I have had many pet dogs in my life. One whom was born sick; she had a sever type of mange and i had to give medication daily and bathe frequently. That was never a problem to me. I currently have two fur babies, one that i found on the street that someone had thrown and one that i adopted. My fur baby that was found on the street has a problem with his hips and I try my best to keep him comfortable. ALL animals are beautiful! Hello Fur Parents! Need someone to have a companion the whole time you’re gone ? I got it, i’m always home! I am a full time momma trying to make a little extra cash to help my husband. Before staying home, I was in the Medical Field as a CNA/Phlebotomist but left that behind to stay home with my newborn baby! My husband is off (Fri. - Sun.) so he helps me on weekends which are my busiest. We’re a team! I have a home that has a backyard that is securely fenced and is pretty specious for your babies to burn all that energy out. I also have two of my own fur babies who are the most loving and playful that have what feels like a million toys who are waiting to be shared with.
