About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always been a huge animal lover. I grew up with Great Pyrenees, so I’m very comfortable around large dogs and understand the care, patience, and attention that comes with bigger breeds. Now I have a long-haired miniature dachshund of my own, so I also have plenty of experience with smaller dogs and all of the personality that can come with them! Having dogs throughout my life has taught me how different every pet can be. I’m very patient, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, whether that includes walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications, or just lots of cuddles and attention. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll always treat them the way I would want someone to treat my own dog and keep you updated while you’re away. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to make pet care a regular part of my day. I’m able to plan walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins around each pet’s normal routine. I really enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them never feels like just another task on my schedule. I’m also happy to work with owners to keep things as consistent and familiar as possible while they’re away! I’m very mindful of things like doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions, medications, and any specific routines or house rules you have in place. I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable in their own environment while you’re away. I’m also happy to send plenty of pictures and updates so you can feel reassured knowing your pet is being well cared for.

About: I have experience caring for animals through both my own pets and previous work involving animal care through pet sitting. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and keeping an eye on pets while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable looking after your pets, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention and are cared for according to your instructions. I’m available for pet care visits in the morning, around midday, and before 6 PM for evening feeding. I can stay for a while during visits to feed and care for your pets, clean up after them, play with them, or simply spend time keeping them company. I will follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific care instructions you provide. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, keep their space clean, and give them plenty of attention. I’m also careful about doors, gates, leashes, and anything else needed to keep your pet safe and secure.
“Ashlee has been great with my kitty. I travel for work and Ashlee watches my MauMau when I have to leave town. She communicates great, sends lots of pics and updates.”

“Emily was the best!! She took such good care of our kitten while we were away for a few days. She provided constant communication and lots of pictures and videos of our little girl! We will definitely be using her again :)”

“She was awesome and super communicative the whole time. Sent videos and photos of my pet. Cleaned the liter and everything before she left. Would def book again and highly recommend.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for many years. I have helped watch dogs for my friends’ business around the holidays and busy seasons, as well. I have a large dog and a cat of my own, and I have had pets since I was a kid. I love dogs and cats, and I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to check in whenever needed. I am currently working from home, so my schedule is very flexible, allowing me to check on your pets whenever needed. My weekends are typically free, as well, which could allow for an occasional overnight visit. I can drop in to feed your pets, let them out, give them love, and walk them if needed. Occasionally, I may be available for overnight visits for older or more anxious pets.
“Lacie did a great job completing drop in visits for several days! She sent at least one picture from each visit and promptly answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Lacie.”

“Dominique was great! She communicated regularly about the cats and even took extra time to try to connect with my very shy kitty. I was able to enjoy my time away without worry. Thank you Dominique!”

About: I grew up training and showing dogs! I've also been a trusted volunteer dog walker/foster parent for local humane societies in the past, taking care of dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages! My family frequently fostered litters of puppies as young as 6 weeks. I also have plenty of experience with seniors and the specific health problems that come with that, after loving my cocker spaniels right up to the end. Life doesn't allow me to have a dog of my own at the moment, so I'll jump on any chance for some pupper love! I daylight as a professional wildlife biologist, but I am currently between jobs and so have all the time in the world to give your four-legged companions! My schedule is wide open. Safety is, of course, the highest priority, and reading animal body language is the key to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for your pet and avoiding stressful situations. This is a skill I feel very confident with after so many years of varied pet care. Second to safety is fun! Whether that looks like a brisk walk, a casual stroll, a laser pointer, a game of fetch, or just getting some relaxed quality time in is entirely up to your pet. Regardless, I'm happy to fulfill their needs.
“Ciera (and her partner) took care of our kitties when we were travelling and did an amazing job! They were very punctual and sent us frequent updates of the cats, including photos and videos. They made sure to give every kitty attention and even got Nomnom to come out of hiding! Ciera was easy to communicate with and replied to messages promptly. Above all, she and her partner are very nice people and we would definitely have them look after our cats again. :)”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember—starting at just 10 years old with our family pets. Growing up in a home with 7 dogs and 1 cat has given me hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities, needs, and care routines. I’ve helped raise puppies from their earliest stages all the way into adulthood. Because of this, I understand how important it is to provide pets with patience, consistency, and lots of love. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and routine-oriented, I’m confident in my ability to keep them safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a full-time teacher, which means I have a structured and dependable schedule throughout the school year (Unavailable from 7am-4pm). During the summer months, I do not work, so I have much more flexibility and availability. I’m available during weekdays and Saturdays to provide any pet care assistance you may need, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to ensure your pets are well taken care of. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medications if needed, and preferred exercise routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while also respecting their individual personalities and energy levels.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wolfforth. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
