About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little. From training puppies, to grooming, to senior dogs who may need gentle care. I look forward to meeting your babies! I work full time, but it is a banking job so it’s very flexible. I can check on your animals every morning occasionally during my lunch, and also after work. I’m off by 4. I am off every weekend as well so I have plenty of time to make sure your babies are well taken care of. In my home currently I have a puppy of my own. I have crate, plenty of toys to share, the best of quality food, extra water and food bowls. There is a lot of grass and a lake with sidewalk to take your puppy on walks. My puppy also does well with other dogs but can be separated if needed. I am very respectful of owners homes, as I would expect in return. I am providing a service and would not only want your animal to feel comfortable but you as well. I’ve sat for many family members, so I would treat my clients even better.
“Ashlee did such a wonderful job with our three pups! She sent us plenty of photos and her updates on the dogs made us feel confident and secure that they were receiving the utmost care. She was kind and attentive at every check-in and even patient when one of our dogs kept eating pillows! Absolutely recommend Ashlee!!”

“Kathryn did a great job with Harley. She was consistent and reliable. The photos she sent showed that Harley was very comfortable with her and was getting lots of scratches/attention.”

“Emily was the best!! She took such good care of our kitten while we were away for a few days. She provided constant communication and lots of pictures and videos of our little girl! We will definitely be using her again :)”

About: I have grown up with small dogs my whole life and currently have a cat named Rio, aka my best bud! I have experience from energetic puppies to senior dogs who might enjoy moving a little slower. I am comfortable with daily feeding and play routines for dogs and cats and value their schedule. I have some experience with giving pill medication to dogs and cats and walking dogs that are well behaved. I am willing to listen to and understand your pet’s routine and am dedicated to keeping them on track and happy. I work a full time monday through friday 8-5 job, but I am committed to making the most out of my pet sitting experiences. I might have shorter morning and/or lunch time visits, but in the evenings and on weekends I will have plenty of time to spend extra playing with your fur babies and making sure they feel loved. I will listen to and abide by client wishes and instructions on care. My goal is to make you feel at ease while away knowing your fur baby is safe and sound at home just waiting your return.
About: I have a lot more experience doing check-in visits and house sitting. I have been house sitting and doing check-in visits for an elderly dog when needed for two years. I have only boarded once for two weeks and it was a great experience! The dog I took care of became a part of our little family when she was with us! I do not mind picking up messes, giving medication if needed, and paying special attention to animals that may require extra duties. I love animals so much! I promise to love your animals just like I love my own! I hope to be hearing from you soon! I am currently a stay at home mom looking to bring in some additional income. I have plenty of time during my days to pet sit or do drop ins. I have a cat and a 3 year old. My animals are never left unsupervised with each other or my child. I can set them up in our large bathroom if that’s what the family wants. However, I prefer them to have free roam of the house when I am home which is a majority of the time. I would take on daily walks around my apartment complex so you will need to provide collar or harness and a leash. I am available most of the day so potty breaks can occur as frequently as every 2 hours.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since as early as I can remember! My fiancé and I have fostered and cared for homeless dogs that we’ve found, and have even adopted one! I have a cat and two dogs that I love and treat like my babies, just like I would any other pets. I have experience house sitting and caring for animals for 10 consecutive years, between family and friends. I will always care for, and treat your pet like my own! I would love to start to build my clients so I can do this more! I am a SAHM, so my schedule is very flexible to meet the needs of you, and your fur babies, to provide them with exactly what they need. I am very dependable and always thorough in making sure your pets are fully taken care and will strictly follow any routine/schedule that is provided. I will make sure they get all of their energy out during check-ins, walks, and playtime! I will always offer as much time as they need to have that interaction they deserve! You can trust me to care for your pet, in any capacity. I am a SAHM, so I can be fully available whenever needed. Please let me know what your pets routine/schedule is so I can be as accommodating as possible! I’ve had animals my whole life. I have two dogs and a cat of my own that I treat like my children. I take the utmost care and responsibility when caring for others fur babies to ensure both them and their owners are satisfied.
“Fantastic care taker! Treated my dogs like family and they adore her as well. She even took them on a neighborhood walk and I didnt even ask, she just wanted to ensure they got some good exercise outside the yard. You animals are in great hands and her updates are so great they could be published!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember—starting at just 10 years old with our family pets. Growing up in a home with 7 dogs and 1 cat has given me hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities, needs, and care routines. I’ve helped raise puppies from their earliest stages all the way into adulthood. Because of this, I understand how important it is to provide pets with patience, consistency, and lots of love. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and routine-oriented, I’m confident in my ability to keep them safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a full-time teacher, which means I have a structured and dependable schedule throughout the school year (Unavailable from 7am-4pm). During the summer months, I do not work, so I have much more flexibility and availability. I’m available during weekdays and Saturdays to provide any pet care assistance you may need, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to ensure your pets are well taken care of. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medications if needed, and preferred exercise routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while also respecting their individual personalities and energy levels.
“Lauren was amazing! I needed her last minute to assist my dog who was just hit by a car while I was at work for a long day. She was able to administer the dog her meds, and take extra care needed for her state. She offered for a meet and greet first as she pointed out my profile said the dog was shy- and has anxiety and wanted to make sure she wouldn’t be alarmed with a stranger coming to assist her. Thx so much Lauren you are much appreciated!!!”

“Ciera (and her partner) took care of our kitties when we were travelling and did an amazing job! They were very punctual and sent us frequent updates of the cats, including photos and videos. They made sure to give every kitty attention and even got Nomnom to come out of hiding! Ciera was easy to communicate with and replied to messages promptly. Above all, she and her partner are very nice people and we would definitely have them look after our cats again. :)”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wolfforth. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
