About: I've had dogs most of my life and I don't know what I would do without them! I love being around all types of animals but dogs are my absolute favorite! I can always be trusted that your pet will be taken care of. The only thing they might get too much of is all my scratches, love, and treatos!(: I work full time at lululemon but can always adjust my schedule to make time for your pet. I usually have shorter work days than most. I have a fenced yard and two friendly pups that love to meet new dogs! They will get plenty of food and water while in my care as well as walks to relieve some energy.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. As a teacher, I’m patient, dependable, organized, and attentive to individual needs — qualities that help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I understand how important trust and communication are, and I’ll treat your dog like part of the family. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily life this summer because I’ll have a very open and flexible schedule. My last day of teaching is June 12th, and I’ll be available throughout the summer for drop-ins, walks, boarding, and overnight care. Since I return to teaching in August, I’m excited to spend my summer doing something I genuinely enjoy — caring for animals and giving pets extra love and attention while their owners are away. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a consistent environment. In both my home and a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, and bedtime routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, supervision, and affection while also respecting their individual personalities and comfort levels. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.
About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was a child, and over the years I have been able to not only take care of many different kinds of animals but also can train as well! I recently just had a surgery so I am available most of the week! I’m still in recovery but handling animals is no big deal. I am excellent with getting any animals trust, and I have a perfect record over my previous jobs to be dependable and trustworthy! I like to leave things in better shape then I found them.

About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!
“Angel of a person & cat whisperer, really goes above and beyond!! If I could give more stars I would!! Usually our cat is a distressed mess when we return from trips but this time he was much more chill and content; it was apparent (if not from the photos and videos) that he was very well cared for and loved on!! Genesis is thoughtful and thorough and really goes above and beyond to ensure your animals and their environment are well taken care of and respected. We could not be more grateful of the time and energy she spent on making sure our baby is happy and healthy. Go with Genesis and rest assured that your fur babies are in the best hands!! Thank you x a million!!”

About: I have been taking care of families house and pet sitting needs since I was in middle school! I am very dedicated to the pet and owners experience and I strive for excellence. I was a vet assistant for 3 years and did hands on work with many animals. I am very good with detailed instructions so don't be afraid to give me a task! I pride myself on communication with the owners. This would include daily pictures and updates on your animal. I'm available everyday to check on any animal and stay with them if needed. Weekdays and weekends I am available to pet/house sit. I do have a part-time job , however it is very flexible and I don't work every day. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. When house or pet sitting, I follow the owner’s routines closely to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive exercise and attention, and that their living spaces stay clean. I’m also very mindful of the home itself keeping everything tidy, respecting house rules, and maintaining a safe, secure environment while the owner is away. My goal is to give both pets and owners peace of mind while they’re apart.
“Jennifer was great with our 3 large dogs! I was looking for someone with experience with dogs that can be rowdy/sometimes intimidating and was so nervous looking for someone new to introduce our dogs to but Jennifer was a perfect match and our dogs loved her. She was great at communication too. Her experience with large breed dogs made me feel very confident and will definitely use her again!”

“Paul was great -- came for a meet and great to learn about Scarlet and get to know her. Arrived right on time and delivered a snazzy report card on Scarlet's outing! She sacked out for a big nap afterwards. Will certainly be using Paul again!”
About: I have taken care of pets for 6 years professionally but have always been around all animals since I was a kid! I can give medicine of any kind, bathe your pet or even just give them some much needed attention! I currently work full time so I can come when I get off work. I take my 2 dogs for a walk first thing in the morning and then get ready for whatever is next on my schedule. I have two miniature Australian shepherds of my own so I know the love one can have their own pets. I will take care of every pet like it’s my own, whether it’s walking, playing, or just giving much needed attention!
About: With over 3 years of dog walking experience, I’ve spent countless hours keeping pups happy, healthy, and active. From playful zoomies to relaxed strolls, I know how to match each dog’s energy and personality. I’m reliable, caring, and always ready to turn every walk into the best part of your dog’s day! I’m free for fun walks with your pup after 4 PM each day! I’m currently a full time college student and I have a full time job. In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved—just like they’re part of the family. I provide plenty of playtime, walks, fresh water, and snuggles, while keeping their routine consistent. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their pet’s normal schedule and environment, following all care instructions closely, and giving them the same level of attention and affection I would my own pets.”
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes since for 8 years now. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I also have two pugs of my own, so I understand routines, patience, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I have also helped my female pug give birth on my own and delivered 6 healthy puppies on my own! I always treat every pet like family. I’m a full-time college student and work part-time on weekends, giving me flexibility during the week. My schedule can be flexible, and earlier arrangements can be made if needed. I provide a safe, calm, and closely supervised environment and always follow each pet’s routine and instructions. My two pugs are very friendly with other dogs and have been crate trained since they were puppies. I introduce pets slowly, supervise all interactions, and can crate or separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life! I have experience with small dogs, medium dogs, and large dogs! I have a short-haired German pointer named Bonnie. My husband and I adopted her in August 2024 after we lost our dog Peter Pan in June. I have experience with dogs with seizures as well. Peter experienced seizures. I also have experience with senior dogs who have trouble walking and back problems. My dog I grew up with back problems and I learned how to feed her when she couldn’t walk. I am a stay at home mom to my 1 year old, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Weekends I’m free in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings before 6:30 pm. I have a fenced in yard and a 2 year old dog. She is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I also have a 1 year old who loves to be around animals!
“Starlight took wonderful care of our kitties during the holidays. She sent photos everyday & spent time playing with them! We would recommend her to anyone & will use her again in the future!”

“Isabella did a great job with my cat! Super happy that he was safe and got lots of love while I was out of town! Even cleaned when he had accidents, very much recommend her!!”

About: I grew up in a house full of spoiled dogs, from poodles to mutts, so loving and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including my sweet lab, Molly. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll always make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm companion, I’m happy to match their needs and routine. As a part-time grad student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend plenty of quality time with your pup. I can provide walks, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and consistent attention throughout the day while keeping your dog comfortable. I understand that pets feel most comfortable sticking to their normal routines, so I will do my best to maintain that consistency while you’re away. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any other care requests to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wolfforth
Kelsey was great! She did a few 30min drop ins for our two dogs while we were out of town. She always communicated when she was heading over, left notes and pictures each time, and even placed our Amazon packages on the counter (a small, but thoughtful gesture)! We will definitely be booking her again in the future.

This was the first time I've used Rover and I'm so glad I booked Emily to check in on my pups. She took time a few day beforehand to introduce herself in person to my dogs and to me. That was great, since it was clear that we all really liked her. My dogs got along great with Emily and she was very good about taking pictures while here and texting them to me, so I could see how well they were doing. I highly recommend Emily!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Wolfforth with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
