“Linda is an amazing cat sitter! She helped us out when we were in a pinch, and we’re so grateful she was able to care for our cats. One of our cats is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day, and Linda handled everything with such confidence and care since she also has experience caring for a diabetic cat of her own. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our cats were in such capable hands. She kept us updated, treated our cats like they were her own, and went above and beyond. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was a child, and over the years I have been able to not only take care of many different kinds of animals but also can train as well! I recently just had a surgery so I am available most of the week! I’m still in recovery but handling animals is no big deal. I am excellent with getting any animals trust, and I have a perfect record over my previous jobs to be dependable and trustworthy! I like to leave things in better shape then I found them.
“Amazing sitter! She was very attentive and understanding when taking care of my cats. She sent many thoughtful updates and photos! Very caring and accommodating! Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes since for 8 years now. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I also have two pugs of my own, so I understand routines, patience, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I have also helped my female pug give birth on my own and delivered 6 healthy puppies on my own! I always treat every pet like family. I’m a full-time college student and work part-time on weekends, giving me flexibility during the week. My schedule can be flexible, and earlier arrangements can be made if needed. I provide a safe, calm, and closely supervised environment and always follow each pet’s routine and instructions. My two pugs are very friendly with other dogs and have been crate trained since they were puppies. I introduce pets slowly, supervise all interactions, and can crate or separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure.
“Paul was great -- came for a meet and great to learn about Scarlet and get to know her. Arrived right on time and delivered a snazzy report card on Scarlet's outing! She sacked out for a big nap afterwards. Will certainly be using Paul again!”
“Felicia was great with both of our cats. We had her coming in every other day during the summer. She communicated well, followed our instructions closely, and never hesitated to bring a problem to our attention.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of patience, compassion, and individualized care I give every pet. As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I know that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I have experience caring for both energetic dogs and senior pets who need a slower pace, extra patience, and gentle attention. I'm happy to stick to your pet's regular routine, administer oral medications if needed, reinforce basic training, and provide plenty of exercise, playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship—whatever helps them feel most at home. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I'll send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being cared for as if they were one of my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I am beginning graduate school this fall, which gives me a structured schedule and flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the week. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I prioritize regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship. As a lifelong pet owner, caring for animals has always been part of my everyday life. I’m used to balancing responsibilities while making sure pets receive the attention, patience, and love they deserve. Whether it’s an energetic dog needing exercise, a shy cat needing time to warm up, or a senior pet needing extra care, I make their well-being a priority. I’ll provide dependable updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident your pets are happy and cared for while you’re away. I believe pets are happiest when their routines and environments are respected. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal schedule as consistent as possible, including feeding routines, medications if needed, playtime, walks, litter box care, and plenty of attention and affection. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and comfort level. Some pets need lots of play and interaction, while others feel safest with quiet companionship and a calm presence. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would want for my own animals. I also understand how important communication is when someone is trusting me with their pets. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
About: With over 3 years of dog walking experience, I’ve spent countless hours keeping pups happy, healthy, and active. From playful zoomies to relaxed strolls, I know how to match each dog’s energy and personality. I’m reliable, caring, and always ready to turn every walk into the best part of your dog’s day! I’m free for fun walks with your pup after 4 PM each day! I’m currently a full time college student and I have a full time job. In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved—just like they’re part of the family. I provide plenty of playtime, walks, fresh water, and snuggles, while keeping their routine consistent. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their pet’s normal schedule and environment, following all care instructions closely, and giving them the same level of attention and affection I would my own pets.”

About: Not only do I have two of my own dogs whom I love very much, but my friends and family have their dogs who I help out with often. I pay attention to detail, so if you are working on specific training techniques I am happy to implement it while I’m with your pup!! Loving on dogs is the highlight of my day and I would love to help with your furry friends! I am a student, in my last year of school so I am hopping in between work and internship sites. However most evenings I can stop by for a check in or walk! Sometimes during the day I have availability and weekends are usually free as long as I’m in town! :) My pets are VERY spoiled! Treats on deck always and I am most definitely a helicopter dog mom! My pups are like my kids. I love cuddles, walks, and teaching new tricks. My dogs are inside dogs who live life to the fullest! I would love to do the same for yours!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life! I have experience with small dogs, medium dogs, and large dogs! I have a short-haired German pointer named Bonnie. My husband and I adopted her in August 2024 after we lost our dog Peter Pan in June. I have experience with dogs with seizures as well. Peter experienced seizures. I also have experience with senior dogs who have trouble walking and back problems. My dog I grew up with back problems and I learned how to feed her when she couldn’t walk. I am a stay at home mom to my 1 year old, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Weekends I’m free in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings before 6:30 pm. I have a fenced in yard and a 2 year old dog. She is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I also have a 1 year old who loves to be around animals!
“Lauren was amazing! I needed her last minute to assist my dog who was just hit by a car while I was at work for a long day. She was able to administer the dog her meds, and take extra care needed for her state. She offered for a meet and greet first as she pointed out my profile said the dog was shy- and has anxiety and wanted to make sure she wouldn’t be alarmed with a stranger coming to assist her. Thx so much Lauren you are much appreciated!!!”

“Judy and Cliff were amazing pet sitters. They sent plenty of pictures of my cats and were thorough in taking care of their food/litter. I am always a nervous traveller away from my pets, but they made it easy and stress free.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wolfforth
Kelsey was great! She did a few 30min drop ins for our two dogs while we were out of town. She always communicated when she was heading over, left notes and pictures each time, and even placed our Amazon packages on the counter (a small, but thoughtful gesture)! We will definitely be booking her again in the future.

This was the first time I've used Rover and I'm so glad I booked Emily to check in on my pups. She took time a few day beforehand to introduce herself in person to my dogs and to me. That was great, since it was clear that we all really liked her. My dogs got along great with Emily and she was very good about taking pictures while here and texting them to me, so I could see how well they were doing. I highly recommend Emily!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
