About: I’ve pay attention to dogs personalities and enjoy surrounding myself with animals. Nothing more brings me joy than a happy pet! I can teach dogs tricks especially if they’re food motivated it’s fun to see how clever they are. I’m working part-time unfortunately right now I can’t house any dogs unless they are smaller/lapdogs. I am willing to housesit and have a vehicle to provide guaranteed transport. I live next to a park that’s friendly for dogs and I’m available to walk them just about anytime. To care in your home I’m willing to go to dog parks or long walks in the neighbor to reach their needs.

About: I have a dog of my own and my sister has a cat. I've taken care of pets for family and friends. Both staying in house and dropping in for feeding and potty breaks. I firmly believe pets are members of the family, a friend and a companion not just an animal. I have very flexible hours. I will be returning to college in the fall but i will continue accepting bookings. Im typically available morning to late at night. For Drop-in visits or house sitting that require early morning care I am able to work it with my schedule with no issue. For drop-in visits I'll check in minimum 3 times daily for feeding, potty breaks, and short playtimes. For house sitting i am happy to stay overnight. In the event I need to leave for any reason, I'm happy to take your fluffy loved one on a car ride with me if acceptable and only if i am not getting out of the car.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little. From training puppies, to grooming, to senior dogs who may need gentle care. I look forward to meeting your babies! I work full time, but it is a banking job so it’s very flexible. I can check on your animals every morning occasionally during my lunch, and also after work. I’m off by 4. I am off every weekend as well so I have plenty of time to make sure your babies are well taken care of. In my home currently I have a puppy of my own. I have crate, plenty of toys to share, the best of quality food, extra water and food bowls. There is a lot of grass and a lake with sidewalk to take your puppy on walks. My puppy also does well with other dogs but can be separated if needed. I am very respectful of owners homes, as I would expect in return. I am providing a service and would not only want your animal to feel comfortable but you as well. I’ve sat for many family members, so I would treat my clients even better.

This was our first time leaving our pets with a sitter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Felicia was absolutely amazing—patient, caring, and truly attentive to our pets’ needs. She kept in great communication the entire 4 days, sending regular updates and photos that really put our minds at ease. It was clear our pets were in loving hands. We came home to happy, relaxed animals and a clean home. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!

About: I’m an Animal Science student at Texas Tech with hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I understand animal behavior, basic health needs, and how to keep pets safe and comfortable. I have experience working with different temperaments, including energetic dogs and more anxious pets. I’ve also worked at a pet hotel, where I handled onboarding, daily care, walks, pet runs, potty breaks, and enrichment activities. This role taught me how to manage multiple dogs at once, read behavior cues, and safely step in when needed—including breaking up conflicts. I consistently maintained a safe environment and never had any issues under my care. I take pet care seriously and focus on providing a safe, calm, and loving environment. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, walks, or just giving your pet attention and companionship, I make sure they feel at home while you’re away. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to treating every pet like my own. I currently work part-time, but my hours have been reduced, so I’m looking to gain more hands-on experience in animal behavior and animal science while earning additional income. Because of this, I have a very flexible schedule and am available on both weekdays and weekends with prior confirmation. I’m committed to being reliable, communicative, and accommodating to your pet’s needs and routine. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home or a client’s home. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and overall well-being to ensure pets feel secure and stress-free. At home, I care for my own cat, who has access to a stimulating and enriching environment with plenty of toys, scratchers, and high-quality treats, including freeze-dried options like shrimp, minnows, and chicken hearts. I maintain a clean space by regularly cleaning the litter box every 1–3 days using natural, fragrance-free litter. He also has access to a stainless steel water fountain with a filter to promote clean, bacteria-free water, and I support his health with a balanced dry diet supplemented with salmon oil. This level of care reflects how I treat every pet—paying attention to detail, maintaining cleanliness, and making sure their physical and emotional needs are met.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was a kid. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and watch their pets. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, shy dogs, and energetic pups. I make sure each pet gets personalized care, attention, and affection based on their unique needs. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of free time throughout the week to focus on caring for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends, daily walks, drop-ins, and flexible scheduling to match your pet’s routine. Your pet will always get consistent attention, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I provide a safe and comfortable environment with a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love company. I always supervise outdoor time, follow any feeding or medication instructions carefully, and can crate your dog if you prefer or if it helps them feel secure. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and cared for.

About: I grew up with large dogs -Cane Corsos, Mountain Malamutes, German Shepherds, Great Danes, etc.- all my life. From small dogs full of energy to gentle giants, I take the time to get to know your fur family's needs so their routine is comfortable, consistent, and stress-free while you're away 🐶❤️ I'm a full-time student with Rover as my part-time job year round and during peak holiday periods; I do drop-in visits, house sitting, and walks! My personal schedule fluctuates frequently which provides an incredibly flexible schedule based on your fur children's routines. 🛑 🗓️ I do require at least a weeks notice for bookings and can't guarantee last minute scheduling. 🛑 🏠 I cannot provide boarding in my home. I prefer going to where the pets are the most comfortable for their care, in their own home. 🏠 At your home, I prefer to have every detail possible to make sure your fur family's routine is being upheld from administering medicine, outside time, to minimal home care such as watching over plants. 💊 If your fur children have specific needs (senior, kitten, puppy, surgery recovery, etc.), I'd love to open up a conversation on how I can make them feel the most comfortable while you're away.

About: Available for initial meet up - to ensure a good match. I've had many pets throughout my life. Dogs, cats, lizards, birds, frogs, rabbits, an injured horned owl, raccoons, and fish! I currently share my apartment with one special cat - a rescue cat named Mogwai. I've had both inside and outside dogs. I have trained several of my dogs (small breeds) so I have a fair amount of knowledge. I'm a 36 year old working from home as a retirement financial investment manager during the day. I have a lot of flexibility to be able to also take care of your pet! I think Rover is a great way to meet some cool pups and cats and help people with the many responsibilities of pet ownership. I look forward to meeting you and your pet/pets! Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work from home. I have ample flexibility to care for your fur baby. I’m an active person who like to talk walks and be outside while also loving a good pet cuddle. I ensure it is a good match between me and the animal. Generally speaking, let’s usually like me. I’d give them plenty of attention and love while also ensuring their basic needs like food, water, relief and exercise are met.

Judy was wonderful! Our little kitty was happy and in perfect shape when we returned home. Judy kept us notified about her throughout our trip and sent us photos of Graycie eating, playing, and climbing on her cat tree. She even noticed our refrigerator was acting up and moved perishables to our other refrigerator. We definitely want Judy to keep our kitty again.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes since for 8 years now. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I also have two pugs of my own, so I understand routines, patience, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I have also helped my female pug give birth on my own and delivered 6 healthy puppies on my own! I always treat every pet like family. I’m a full-time college student and work part-time on weekends, giving me flexibility during the week. My schedule can be flexible, and earlier arrangements can be made if needed. I provide a safe, calm, and closely supervised environment and always follow each pet’s routine and instructions. My two pugs are very friendly with other dogs and have been crate trained since they were puppies. About: What sets me apart is the level of patience, compassion, and individualized care I give every pet. As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I know that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I have experience caring for both energetic dogs and senior pets who need a slower pace, extra patience, and gentle attention. I'm happy to stick to your pet's regular routine, administer oral medications if needed, reinforce basic training, and provide plenty of exercise, playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship—whatever helps them feel most at home. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I'll send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being cared for as if they were one of my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I am beginning graduate school this fall, which gives me a structured schedule and flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the week. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I prioritize regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship. As a lifelong pet owner, caring for animals has always been part of my everyday life. I’m used to balancing responsibilities while making sure pets receive the attention, patience, and love they deserve. Whether it’s an energetic dog needing exercise, a shy cat needing time to warm up, or a senior pet needing extra care, I make their well-being a priority. I’ll provide dependable updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident your pets are happy and cared for while you’re away. I believe pets are happiest when their routines and environments are respected. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal schedule as consistent as possible, including feeding routines, medications if needed, playtime, walks, litter box care, and plenty of attention and affection. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and comfort level. Some pets need lots of play and interaction, while others feel safest with quiet companionship and a calm presence. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would want for my own animals. I also understand how important communication is when someone is trusting me with their pets. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Shallowater choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Shallowater with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
