“We have used Sysylya a couple of times now! We absolutely love that we found her! Our mind is at ease knowing Ranger is being taken care of by her and her husband! This last time we had an unforeseen situation happen that caused us to have to extend Ranger stay another night and she was so understanding about it! Ranger always leaves so happy! I can’t recommend her enough! 🥹 15/10 recommend!”

“This was my second time asking Paul to board Jadie, and my experience was as great as the first time. He shared videos and pictures throughout the day, and Jadie was always having a good time. When I picked her up she was happy and relaxed and I could tell she was well taken care of. I can’t recommend Paul enough !”

“Melissa came to my rescue when my other sitter fell through at the last minute. I appreciated the willingness to meet up before I left town and the communication I received while away. My pups had a great time with her crew and have enjoyed returned visits. Thanks Melissa!”

“I was nervous leaving my dog with a sitter because I had never left him with anybody before and wasn’t sure how his behavior would be. Shawna did a fantastic job keeping him for me. He was with her for four nights and she sent me photos and updates on how he was doing. I never had to worry about him because I knew he was safe and taken care of. I highly recommend Shawna and will be a repeat customer when needed!”

About: I love animals, but dogs just have my heart. I have had many dog pets in my life. One whom was sick since she was born and i had to give medication daily. That was never a problem to me. I currently have two fur babies, one that i found on the street that someone had thrown and one that i adopted. My fur baby that was found on the street has a problem with its hips and I try my best to keep him comfortable. ALL animals are beautiful! Hello Fur Parents! I am currently in the Medical Field as a CNA/Phlebotomist. My work schedule is mornings/almost afternoon. I am available in the morning for those whom can’t be attentive to their fur babies due to being at work. While i’m going in to work my husband is almost out so fur babies will not be alone too long. We are a team!! I have a home that has a backyard that is securely fenced and is pretty specious for your babies to burn all that energy out. I also have two of my own fur babies who are the most loving and playful that have what feels like a million toys who are waiting to be shared with.
“Amazing!!! I was super nervous about leaving my dog with anyone, but Chistian made it a worry free experience. My pup quickly became just like their family dog with all the love, attention, and freedom he could want. He didn’t have to stay in a kennel which was a must for me. She sent me pictures, videos, and regular updates on things he did throughout the day that made me feel like she was really paying attention to his needs and helped me not worry about him! Don’t hesitate to leave your dogs with this amazing family!”

About: I have grown up with animals since I can remember. I have cared for all sizes and breeds and have raised a few from birth. I also have chickens and have been around livestock. I am very detail oriented and will always ask questions if I am unsure. I also work in home healthcare so I am used to taking care of pets in my patients homes. I love animals and will always treat and care for them as my own. I am starting school so I am flexible. My weekends are pretty free but I will always be available if you trust me to watch your baby! I have a fully fenced yard, plenty of room, and a barn with an ac unit if your baby likes to have their own space. I have two Dalmatians that are both neutered and very friendly. I will always have my eyes on them because I would never want to put your baby in an uncomfortable environment. My dogs are very used to being around others but are trained enough to be able to be separate areas of the house/ yard if needed.
About: I am a TTU graduate with my bachelors in animal science. I have 3 years of vet tech experience, so I’m comfortable taking care of youthful, senior and sick/medical animals. I know CPR, how to administer medications including insulin and asthma treatments, and tending to wound care as well. I have a certificate in animal behavior, and I am aware some animals may be more nervous/shy to changes and will need more time and attention before gaining trust. I have a fur baby of my own and I would love and care for your animals as if they were my own❤️ Student studying radiation therapy at Md Anderson, just moved here for my clinical. Have availability during the week and weekends when I’m not at school. I will make sure the environment is free of anything hazardous, toxic including items that can easily be swallowed to prevent foreign body. For outside purposes, there are no holes where animals can escape from and that the fences/gates are properly closed.

“This was my first time to use Rover and Haley C. did a great job! She was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She updated me and sent pictures of my pup! My pup seemed like she wanted to stay with Haley C. when I picked up my pup! Thank you Haley C!”

About: I love dogs so much! I've taken care of all different types of dogs for family members and friends during my high school years! Now I'm in college and I miss my family pets so I thought why not dogs sit on the side! The house i live in has a nice big backyard, a giant indoor dog bed, and a doggie door that allows pets to go in and out when needed! I've also cared for senior dogs and puppies in the past so I'm completely comfortable with being more attentive when needed! I currently work 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, I'm avaliable for doggie care after 5pm and I'm completely available on the weekends! You can also drop of your dogs at 5:30pm on a Friday and they can stay overnight until Monday if needed! I have a fenced yard and a giant human sized dog bed that I actually just use for dogs in the living room. Currently, I have no puppies of my own in the house, but typically they are allowed to roam around the house and go in and out the doggie door when needed. I can also close the doggie door if you don't want your dog outside. I take doggies out for potty every few hours. I do not crate my dogs but I would be willing to do that if a crate was provided to me.
About: I've been surrounded by all sorts of animals my entire life! All of my family, neighbors and friends have always had my watch over their animals all throughout my life. I'm currently a student at Texas Tech University! I have classes throughout the week from 11am to about 5pm most days. On weekends I am readily available. Since I am in a dorm currently, I am unable to bring your animal to me. I will only be able to go to your home to car for the pet. I have always been trusted to petsit animals ranging from cattle to kittens and puppies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
