About: I love dogs so much! I've taken care of all different types of dogs for family members and friends during my high school years! Now I'm in college and I miss my family pets so I thought why not dogs sit on the side! The house i live in has a nice big backyard, a giant indoor dog bed, and a doggie door that allows pets to go in and out when needed! I've also cared for senior dogs and puppies in the past so I'm completely comfortable with being more attentive when needed! I currently work 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, I'm avaliable for doggie care after 5pm and I'm completely available on the weekends! You can also drop of your dogs at 5:30pm on a Friday and they can stay overnight until Monday if needed! I have a fenced yard and a giant human sized dog bed that I actually just use for dogs in the living room. Currently, I have no puppies of my own in the house, but typically they are allowed to roam around the house and go in and out the doggie door when needed. I can also close the doggie door if you don't want your dog outside. I take doggies out for potty every few hours. I do not crate my dogs but I would be willing to do that if a crate was provided to me.
About: I have absolutely adored animals of all kinds since I was young. I strive for pet sitting and care to be more than a passion but a career path. I’m more than willing to dedicate my time into making what can be a stressful time for both owners and pets alike enjoyable and rewarding! I have experience with furry friends who take time with new people, and with our over joyful and excited friends! Having the patience, time, energy and dedication needed for building a relationship with your pet thats lasting! I have cared for all sizes and personalities of furry pets for the past 15 years for many neighbors, family members, and friends growing up! It has remained my favorite job and past time for as long as I can remember, as it allows for me to be surrounded by a community of wonderful people and loving animals. Being a stay at home mom has allowed me to work with a flexible schedule. I’m able to provide last minute scheduling and holiday scheduling for pet owners! With minimal adjustments to hours and available days! I have a large fenced in yard for my two dogs, and have spent years learning how to play and interact with them in our space together! Even providing them with a separate space to cool off and relax away from the chaos of children, making sure they’re never to overwhelmed! Having pets has taught me some wonderful games such as tug of war, fetch, and keep away (a house favorite). I’ve learned with time that “animal lead play” is a wonderful way to get any fur baby to interact on a level they’re comfortable with. Offering opportunities for bonds and trust to form between us!
About: Hi! I’ve grown up with multiple pets my whole life and have always had a huge love for animals. I’m very familiar with a wide variety of breeds and personalities — from giant dogs like Irish Wolfhounds to tiny pups like Chihuahuas. No matter the size or breed, I’m passionate about making every dog feel safe, comfortable, and especially loved while in my care. I understand that pets are family, and I would care for your furry babies the same way I would want someone to care for mine — with patience, attention, love, and plenty of affection. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and at ease while you’re away! Pet care is a huge part of my everyday life. I have a super sweet German Shepherd mix who loves other dogs, so caring for pets naturally fits into my daily routine through walks, trips to the dog park, playtime, and bringing him along into everyday life as much as possible. I truly love being around animals and making sure they feel active, happy, and loved. I also enjoy volunteering at the Lubbock Animal Shelter because giving back and helping these babies means so much to me. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love doing every day. I always want pets to feel as comfortable, safe, and loved as possible, whether they’re in my home or their own. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, water, feeding on their normal schedule, and lots of affection throughout the day. I also try to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. In my home, dogs are treated like family. They’re allowed on the furniture, have cozy places to relax and hang out, and get lots of love and attention. I want them to feel at home, comfortable, and cared for the entire time they’re with me.

About: I have babysat for 6 years. Even though most of my experience is with children, I have had to care for pets along with them. I absolutely love taking care of children and pets and creating a safe space for them!! I am extremely reliable and trustworthy with children and animals. I LOVE cats and dogs I am in college right now, with a class at 2pm on Mondays and Wednesdays and all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My next semester is in the fall and I will only have 1 class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I live in an apartment right now so I do not have a yard. We have lots of grassy areas that I can take dogs to. There’s also a dog park about a minute away and my boyfriend and I love to take his dog there! Also, my roommate has a little, old dog but she is super sweet! We are moving to a house in July so hopefully that will have a yard!
“Cecilia was so great with my anxious cat. She was accommodating to his needs. Additionally, she provided frequent photos and thorough updates during his 10-day stay. Her communication was superb. Would 100% recommend!!”

“If you're looking for someone who genuinely loves and cares for your dog, Chelsi is the one. She has an incredible way with animals, and it shows in everything she does. Her kindness, patience, and understanding make such a difference, and she always knows how to keep my dog feeling safe, happy, and at ease. What really stands out is how in tune she is with my dog’s needs. She doesn’t just follow a routine, she really pays attention and responds to how he's feeling. Leaving him with Chelsi gave me total peace of mind because I knew he was in great hands. She goes beyond just looking after him, it’s clear she cares for him like he’s her own.”

About: I worked professionally as a pet dog trainer for approximately four years, where I helped owners improve obedience, leash manners, behavior issues, and overall structure for their dogs. This experience allowed me to work hands-on with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, ages, and energy levels. In addition to my professional training background, I currently train and compete with my own dog, which keeps my handling skills sharp and gives me continued real-world experience with exercise routines, enrichment, and behavioral management. I am certified in pet first aid and CPR and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with owners. I am comfortable handling large breeds, high-drive dogs, reactive dogs, puppies, and dogs that require routine reinforcement of training. I aim to provide dependable, calm, and structured care so dogs feel secure and owners feel confident while they are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work a structured full-time schedule, which allows me to reliably provide morning, evening, and weekend care. I am active and used to exercising dogs regularly, so walks, drop-ins, and consistent routines are easy for me to maintain. I plan my week in advance and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, ensuring pets receive dependable and attentive care. Safety and structure are always my top priorities. With my background as a professional dog trainer and certification in pet first aid and CPR, I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I follow owner instructions closely regarding feeding, medication, crate routines, and exercise. I use proper leash handling, situational awareness, and calm leadership to keep dogs safe and secure both in my home and in clients’ homes.

About: I adore taking care of pets! I’ve owned just about every animals myself including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, a hedgehog, and have taken care of farm animals my entire life. I have deep love for animals and would love to have another dog of my own some day soon. For now I enjoy regularly pet-sitting for friends. In the past I have previously run a pet feeding business over the summers. I’m experienced in feeding, walking, and caring for all types of pets and would love to take care of yours! I am currently working partime with weekends off. I am home until 3pm every day and back by 6pm with nothing but time on my hands. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a nice yard to play in. I am a very hands on caretaker. I usually go on morning and evening walks with my friends and play lots of fetch and tug of war. I don’t mind the little one playing inside with me at all. I have other roommates that love pets just as much as me, however I do like to crate the dogs while I am gone to prevent accidents. I have a great environment for your loved ones!

“Amy is wonderful! I was nervous to leave my husky pup for the first time, but Amy took such good care of her. She even went the extra mile to come meet Lucy and love on her before her weekend stay. I already have our next reservation with Amy booked!”

About: I’ve loved caring for animals from a young age and started dog walking when I was about 10. Since then, I’ve helped neighbors, friends, and family with pet sitting and house sitting. I’m gentle, reliable, and always make sure your pets feel comfortable, loved, and cared for just like they would at home. I currently work part-time and am available most weekdays after 2 PM (occasionally 3 PM). I’m flexible and can adjust my schedule when needed to prioritize your pet’s care. I have open availability on weekends, and with summer coming up, I’ll have even more flexibility, including extended stays and overnight care if needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for play and exercise. I also have a calm, friendly cat who mostly keeps to himself in my room. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, crate training, or any special needs, to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and at home.
About: I love animals, but dogs just have my heart. I have had many dog pets in my life. One whom was sick since she was born and i had to give medication daily. That was never a problem to me. I currently have two fur babies, one that i found on the street that someone had thrown and one that i adopted. My fur baby that was found on the street has a problem with its hips and I try my best to keep him comfortable. ALL animals are beautiful! Hello Fur Parents! I am currently in the Medical Field as a CNA. My work schedule is 3pm to 11pm. I am available in the morning for those whom can not be attentive to their fur babies due to being at work. About: I’ve spent my entire life on a farm with multiple different animals( at one point I even had a pet opossum). I’m used to having 6 dogs in the house with me and I’m super homesick and miss them! I have one dog here. She’s a border collie named Eloise and she’s very friendly and loves all other animals. I would love to care for your animals too! I spend a lot of time with Eloise taking her to the dog park, watching movies, and doing other activities and would be happy to add a few more to the party. I have experience with almost every dog breed and love them all, especially the quirky ones. I work weekends but am available Monday through Thursday. I can also do pickups and am comfortable with animals in the car. I can do early morning walks or runs on the weekends though. In my house the animals are my equals and my friends. I feed them first, they are allowed on the furniture, and i genuinely want them to be as comfortable and happy as i can make them. I have a fenced in backyard and front yard. I also like to go for runs in the morning so I would be happy to provide them with as much or as little exercise as they prefer.
Lubbock pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amelia was amazing and my baby had the best time! She sent photos and vids and took him out on walks and has a set up that would be any puppy’s paradise! Bubba, my dog, is a rescue, and I worry about leaving him because he gets extremely nervous and shy in new environments. However, Amelia was able to get him out of his shell in less than a day!!! That’s so major for Bubba. I was able to enjoy my weekend away that much more knowing he was in such good hands and was enjoying his time as well! THANK YOU!!

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly attentive, communicated every detail, and kept me updated the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she cares for. She took wonderful care of my fur baby and her soon-to-arrive babies lol, with so much patience and love. I truly felt like my dog was in safe, capable hands, and that means everything to me. I would 100% book with Jennifer again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate.

He was super sweet and attentive with my cat!! My booking was made a little last minute but he was always kind and willing to take care of my boy. My kitty used to be a stray and has some phases behaviorally, but Javonte was super understanding and willing to help socialize him with his formerly stray cat! Super cool guy, I would book with him again!

When dropping off Buddy and Lucy, I could tell that Iris was going to take good care of them. She was clearly interested in making sure they are comfortable. During their stay, she was communicative and sent lots of pictures that showed that they were having a blast at her house. At pick up, it was clear that her kids also enjoyed Buddy and Lucy, so I have no doubt that they got plenty of attention during their stay. I hope that Iris is available to keep the dogs the next time we go out of town.

I’m so glad I chose johnathon to watch my dog! He was super nice and was able to accommodate with a very last minute booking which was very helpful. My dog did amazing with him and they got along very well! He sent pictures and replied to me fast whenever I missed my dog!
