“Gabriela was very sweet and accommodating! While out of town she kept us updated on how our pups were doing, sent pictures, and let us know how they were adjusting. There were times I didn't have service and once service would be back, she would have an update. I would definitely recommend booking with Gabriela!”

“Delaney was awesome! She took care of my Boston Terrier, Mollie, while I was out of town. She was very conscientious about the care she provided. She took Mollie for walks, played with her, and fed her per instructions I left. She texted me photos & updates and gave me a summary when I picked up Mollie. It was very clear that Delaney LOVES dogs.”

“Arianna was wonderful. She took great care of our dogs, sent plenty of photos daily and kept us updated on how they were doing. Highly recommend her and will book her again.”

“We have had many pet sitters over the years and Amanda is by far the best! She gave wonderful, in-depth, daily updates of how our dog was doing using videos, pictures, and text. She went above and beyond taking care of his basic needs to use this opportunity to train him in areas he needed. We even learned some fun new things about him like his interest in watching dog TV. Haha Overall, I highly recommend her services!”

“Sarah is awesome!! Bandy has stayed with her three times now and has absolutely loved it. She always keeps me updated and sends photos and my dog always looks like he’s having fun. Whenever we pick him up he is so happy and tired from all the play and walks. She has a great routine and takes such good care of him. No anxiety or worries at all when leaving him. 100% Recommend!”

“Victoria was great for Winston. He made plenty of new friends and according to my husband, he cried when he had to leave. We will definitely be using Victoria again when the time arrives. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our Winston!!”

“Jennifer was amazing with my dog! As was her whole family! Harley can be very shy and alittle feisty sometimes towards people she doesn’t know but the moment I brought her over she was so comfortable with Jennifer and that’s a huge positive when your dog is automatically comfortable with someone also imo! Jennifer updated us daily with texts or pics and the whole experience was just a pleasure overall!! I would definitely recommend this home for any and all pet sitting needs and if I ever need someone to watch Harley again, Jennifer will be the first person I book with! Thank you guys again!!! I appreciate you so much!”

“Our pups loved staying with Kalee and her family. We got daily updates and lots of pictures. They were so patient with our puppies and did an intro meet up with their pups before we scheduled. We appreciate the extra care taking on our pups required. Definitely recommend!”

“They have been amazing to us! Not only have they watched my dog Cooper twice on short notice while fully following his care instructions but they let me keep my car parked at their house during our trip due to car troubles while trying to get to the airport. They have been the best and Cooper loves them!!!”

“Nadia took such good care of our girl Bella! She kept up updated on her daily routine, sent photos and made sure Bellzy had lots of treats. We did not worry once about our girl. She was in good hands and we will use Nadia in the future! 😊”

“Jordyn and her family watched my dog in their home while I went away for a wedding—I got lots of updates and photos and my dog had a great time! Would recommend to anyone who needed a dogsitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little. From training puppies, to grooming, to senior dogs who may need gentle care. I look forward to meeting your babies! I work full time, but it is a banking job so it’s very flexible. I can check on your animals every morning occasionally during my lunch, and also after work. I’m off by 4. I am off every weekend as well so I have plenty of time to make sure your babies are well taken care of. In my home currently I have a puppy of my own. I have crate, plenty of toys to share, the best of quality food, extra water and food bowls. There is a lot of grass and a lake with sidewalk to take your puppy on walks. My puppy also does well with other dogs but can be separated if needed. I am very respectful of owners homes, as I would expect in return. I am providing a service and would not only want your animal to feel comfortable but you as well. I’ve sat for many family members, so I would treat my clients even better.
“Melissa and her husband did an amazing job with Bear. The daily updates kept us comfortable and their dogs were the PERFECT playmates for our little guy. Will be booking them for sure on our next trip out of town! Also, Bear has a strict diet, and they absolutely made sure he ate only the food we provided unlike other hosts in the past. One of the biggest pluses in our book ?”

“She was incredible and took great care of my dog and even helped with a situation beyond that. I would absolutely recommend anybody to her and I personally think extremely highly of her integrity, compassion, care of animals, and the people that own them.”

“They took amazing care of our babies. The videos and pictures gave us peace that they were being well taken care of and were enjoying themselves. I will definitely use them again.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
