“Our 2 labs had the best time with Delaney and her golden retriever! They had all kinds of fun and were given lots of attention for the 2 1/2 days we were gone. We received frequent photos and updates on how they were doing and honestly didn’t worry about them once while we were away from them.”

“Arianna took such great care of Stuart while I was in town for an event. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was not only well cared for, but genuinely loved while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a natural connection with dogs. Her dog Dakota was a wonderful host as well—Stu loved having a built-in play buddy during his stay. I would absolutely book with her again—highly recommend!”

“Kaitlyn and Scott are amazing! My willow loved them and had a great time. She’s so good at sending updates, pictures, and videos. Will definitely use them again. Thank y’all again guys!!!! ❤️”

“Johnathon was such a great sitter. Fast with replying, reliable, and took great care of my older dog for the first time she's ever been away from me. 10/10 will use him again!”

“Victoria took in Seymour on short notice over the 4th of July weekend which was a huge life saver. He had such a good time he didn’t even want to leave Victoria and Maverick!”

“Sarah made sure we both were comfortable by sending pictures and updates and taking very good care of peanut. I appreciate Sarah’s help with my baby while we were out of town and will book with her for any future pet sitting needs!”

“Amanda is awesome. She kept me updated on Lola, sent videos and pictures throughout her stay, and took her on walks. My Lola is very high anxiety and Amanda went out of her way to make sure she was comfortable. She is very loving and patient and even extended Lola’s stay no problem when I last minute found out I’d be out of town an extra day. I will definitely be using Amanda again. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate her and her kindness. I felt very comfortable knowing Lola was in her care. You can’t go wrong choosing Amanda to take care of your animal. She will go above and beyond to make sure your babies are well taken care of.”

“Jennifer was amazing with my dog! As was her whole family! Harley can be very shy and alittle feisty sometimes towards people she doesn’t know but the moment I brought her over she was so comfortable with Jennifer and that’s a huge positive when your dog is automatically comfortable with someone also imo! Jennifer updated us daily with texts or pics and the whole experience was just a pleasure overall!! I would definitely recommend this home for any and all pet sitting needs and if I ever need someone to watch Harley again, Jennifer will be the first person I book with! Thank you guys again!!! I appreciate you so much!”

“Chelsi was amazing! She gave daily updates of their adventures and sent pics of Coco (clearly enjoying her stay). It is obvious Chelsi cares for the pups staying with her and the 1:1 attention is above and beyond the alternative of a kennel that has multiple dogs and only a couple outings during their stay. I will definitely be hoping she's available if I ever cannot bring Coco out of town with me.”

About: I have a lot more experience doing check-in visits and house sitting. I have been house sitting and doing check-in visits for an elderly dog when needed for two years. I have only boarded once for two weeks and it was a great experience! The dog I took care of became a part of our little family when she was with us! I do not mind picking up messes, giving medication if needed, and paying special attention to animals that may require extra duties. I love animals so much! I promise to love your animals just like I love my own! I hope to be hearing from you soon! I am currently a stay at home mom looking to bring in some additional income. I have plenty of time during my days to pet sit or do drop ins. I have a cat and a 3 year old. My animals are never left unsupervised with each other or my child. I can set them up in our large bathroom if that’s what the family wants. However, I prefer them to have free roam of the house when I am home which is a majority of the time. I would take on daily walks around my apartment complex so you will need to provide collar or harness and a leash. I am available most of the day so potty breaks can occur as frequently as every 2 hours.
About: I have 6 years of hands-on experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pups with special needs. For many years, I fostered dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, giving me a great understanding of doggy behavior and care. In my free time, I volunteer at local rescues, continuing my love for helping animals feel safe, cared for, and happy. I currently work from home, and have a dog of my own that I take on multiple walks a day, and usually to the dog park once a day! My entire day is scheduled around the needs of the dogs I’m watching, as well as my own. I make every pet’s care and comfort my number one priority. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a calm environment, follow all care instructions, and give all of the love, exercise, and attention I can give. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel secure and happy while you’re away.
About: I started working for an animal rescue in high school and it made me fall in with dogs even more! I currently have 4 rescue dogs that eat better than me! I’ve been trusted with all of my family and friends pets. If you need a photo of them I will definitely be stocked up! I don’t work full time so I will be available to cater to whatever needs your babies need! I can give them medicine, walk them, or crate them if needed! I have a fenced in yard where your babies will have room to run and play with our fun loving dogs! All animals are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. Your pet will be loved and cared for as though they are our own!
“I absolutely loved my experience. Not only was the communication constant, open but I also enjoyed the many pictures updates that I got of my baby the entire time. It was so nice knowing thaty girl was safe and spoiled the whole time! thank you so much.10/10 definitely would recommend”

“My Maggie was well cared for and seemed so happy when I picked her up! Absolutely no issues and will definitely be booking with them again next time I need someone!”

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
