About: I love animals, but dogs just have my heart. I have had many pet dogs in my life. One whom was born sick; she had a sever type of mange and i had to give medication daily and bathe frequently. That was never a problem to me. I currently have two fur babies, one that i found on the street that someone had thrown and one that i adopted. My fur baby that was found on the street has a problem with his hips and I try my best to keep him comfortable. ALL animals are beautiful! Hello Fur Parents! Need someone to have a companion the whole time you’re gone ? I got it, i’m always home! I am a full time momma trying to make a little extra cash to help my husband. Before staying home, I was in the Medical Field as a CNA/Phlebotomist but left that behind to stay home with my newborn baby! My husband is off (Fri. - Sun.) so he helps me on weekends which are my busiest. We’re a team! I have a home that has a backyard that is securely fenced and is pretty specious for your babies to burn all that energy out. I also have two of my own fur babies who are the most loving and playful that have what feels like a million toys who are waiting to be shared with.

About: I've taken care of dogs for many years in all sizes from toy to extra large. I also work with birds, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I have veterinary assistant experience and love all furr babies with all my heart! I'm available on weekends and most evenings to care for your sweet babies. I do have a full time job that keeps me away from home during the week. I have a large fenced yard or can crate your baby if needed. I follow instructions to the letter if I visit your home to care for your baby.

About: Available for initial meet up - to ensure a good match. I've had many pets throughout my life. Dogs, cats, lizards, birds, frogs, rabbits, an injured horned owl, raccoons, and fish! I currently share my apartment with one special cat - a rescue cat named Mogwai. I've had both inside and outside dogs. I have trained several of my dogs (small breeds) so I have a fair amount of knowledge. I'm a 36 year old working from home as a retirement financial investment manager during the day. I have a lot of flexibility to be able to also take care of your pet! I think Rover is a great way to meet some cool pups and cats and help people with the many responsibilities of pet ownership. I look forward to meeting you and your pet/pets! Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work from home. I have ample flexibility to care for your fur baby. I’m an active person who like to talk walks and be outside while also loving a good pet cuddle. I ensure it is a good match between me and the animal. Generally speaking, let’s usually like me. I’d give them plenty of attention and love while also ensuring their basic needs like food, water, relief and exercise are met.

About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!

About: Growing up with dogs—from my childhood Yellow Lab, Chili, to my German Shepherd, Jaylee—instilled in me a lifelong love and deep respect for pets. I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends for years, handling everything from daily walks to overnight care. As a college student, caring for dogs isn't just a side job for me; it’s something I truly enjoy. I take pride in providing a safe, attentive, and fun environment where your pup feels right at home. As a biochemistry major with a double minor in math and biology, I’m used to staying organized and focused. I intentionally manage my workload so I never take on pet care unless I can give your dog the full time and attention they deserve. My busiest day is Thursday during my lab, but because most of my coursework is online, I’m home study-buddy style with your pets during the week. Plus, I keep my Saturdays completely free for fun trips to the park or Starbucks pup cup runs! When caring for your pet in your home, trust and safety are my top priorities. I treat every home with respect and ensure your pet is kept supervised and out of harm’s way by keeping all hazardous items completely out of reach. I also believe that clear communication brings peace of mind, so I send frequent updates and photos throughout the visit to keep you connected with your pet every step of the way!

About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of three girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with most dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. Probably the only animals I would not be comfortable with are mice and rats. To each their own, of course. I love to spend time with new animals. Depending of course on how friendly yours are, I like to do more than just feed them and walk them. If your cats or dogs like to play, then I am the person you want. I have my own three cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. I do this and other gig jobs, so my schedule is pretty flexible. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own three are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are not so busy with traffic, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority. I do not mix animals from different families. It's stressful enough that they are around a new person.

About: I have owned a pet for 16 years so I have a very good knowledge of animal care. I have two personal dog and many family pets! I’d love to watch your fur buddy! I am currently doing online schooling with no other job, therefore I am available at all times of the day. I am in college and have lots of free time due to having a light load! I can take your pets out as often as needed! I love giving furry friends treats and lots of play time! I have one puppy who eats at 8am and 8pm and goes out around every hour!

About: If it's love they want, I give and if it's to be left alone, I can control myself, I promise! I do not have training experience but I have cared for many animals in need of special care in the past. I am a mother of three and they are all in school most part of the day. Activities and school events will arise, however, I will never let it interfere with my responsibilities. Should I care for your fur babies at my home and leave for drop off and pick ups, I am more than happy to use my small traveling kennels or use theirs if traveling is safe for them. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule has more so become a routine rather anything else and so should there be a minor change I will give notice with ample time. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your pet if needed but, at the moment, I do only have one small kennel and a small traveling kennel as well. I do not invite your pets to get on furniture but I also do not turn away cuddles and snuggle, and kisses on any piece of furniture. My oldest is 15, followed by middle child who is 11. My youngest is 4 but he is the most loving and gentle kid because he has grown with Chihuahuas and has learned that not all pets should be played with in any way not invited.
