About: I’ve pay attention to dogs personalities and enjoy surrounding myself with animals. Nothing more brings me joy than a happy pet! I can teach dogs tricks especially if they’re food motivated it’s fun to see how clever they are. I’m working part-time unfortunately right now I can’t house any dogs unless they are smaller/lapdogs. I am willing to housesit and have a vehicle to provide guaranteed transport. I live next to a park that’s friendly for dogs and I’m available to walk them just about anytime. To care in your home I’m willing to go to dog parks or long walks in the neighbor to reach their needs.
“When I got home to my kitty, her water dishes were full and her litter box was empty, so I could tell Marjorie had kept everything just right. Each day I received photos, replies to my texts, and assurance that my sweet elder kitty was receiving love and attention.”

“Dominique was amazing with my cats while I was gone! Very communicative throughout their drop in visits. I’m looking forward to Dominique looking after my cats again!”

“Jennifer was great with our 3 large dogs! I was looking for someone with experience with dogs that can be rowdy/sometimes intimidating and was so nervous looking for someone new to introduce our dogs to but Jennifer was a perfect match and our dogs loved her. She was great at communication too. Her experience with large breed dogs made me feel very confident and will definitely use her again!”

About: Lots of Hands-on experience assisting with dog walking, feeding routines, basic training reinforcement, crate care, and high-energy breeds through direct involvement in daily pet care support. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I structure my schedule with flexibility in mind. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I plan my days to allow dedicated time for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins without feeling rushed. Consistency and reliability are priorities for me. Safety and trust come first in any home. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, maintain feeding and medication schedules, and keep a calm, structured environment. I monitor pets during walks, avoid unsafe areas, and ensure doors, gates, and crates are secure. I respect each client’s home, keep things clean, and give pets attentive, responsible care at all times.
About: I love animals, but dogs just have my heart. I have had many dog pets in my life. One whom was sick since she was born and i had to give medication daily. That was never a problem to me. I currently have two fur babies, one that i found on the street that someone had thrown and one that i adopted. My fur baby that was found on the street has a problem with its hips and I try my best to keep him comfortable. ALL animals are beautiful! Hello Fur Parents! I am currently in the Medical Field as a CNA/Phlebotomist. My work schedule is mornings/almost afternoon. I am available in the morning for those whom can’t be attentive to their fur babies due to being at work. While i’m going in to work my husband is almost out so fur babies will not be alone too long. We are a team!! I have a home that has a backyard that is securely fenced and is pretty specious for your babies to burn all that energy out. I also have two of my own fur babies who are the most loving and playful that have what feels like a million toys who are waiting to be shared with.
About: I grew up training and showing dogs! I've also been a trusted volunteer dog walker/foster parent for local humane societies in the past, taking care of dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages! My family frequently fostered litters of puppies as young as 6 weeks. I also have plenty of experience with seniors and the specific health problems that come with that, after loving my cocker spaniels right up to the end. Life doesn't allow me to have a dog of my own at the moment, so I'll jump on any chance for some pupper love! I daylight as a professional wildlife biologist, but I am currently between jobs and so have all the time in the world to give your four-legged companions! My schedule is wide open. Safety is, of course, the highest priority, and reading animal body language is the key to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for your pet and avoiding stressful situations. This is a skill I feel very confident with after so many years of varied pet care. Second to safety is fun! Whether that looks like a brisk walk, a casual stroll, a laser pointer, a game of fetch, or just getting some relaxed quality time in is entirely up to your pet. Regardless, I'm happy to fulfill their needs.
“We have used Rachel multiple times and always had a wonderful experience. Our dogs love her. She has made sure our babies have been fed and potties and always reports with pictures. She has also returned to check on them whenever we have had travel delays. We will always choose Rachel whenever we have to leave town.”

“Gwendolyn did an excellent job of caring for our dogs and they really love her. We are extremely selective about who takes care of our babies when we have to be away from them and we hope she is the only Rover sitter we ever need again. I highly recommend her (unless you need her the same dates I do, in which case I don't). But seriously, she understands these are people's precious babies and cares for them as such.”

About: I worked professionally as a pet dog trainer for approximately four years, where I helped owners improve obedience, leash manners, behavior issues, and overall structure for their dogs. This experience allowed me to work hands-on with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, ages, and energy levels. In addition to my professional training background, I currently train and compete with my own dog, which keeps my handling skills sharp and gives me continued real-world experience with exercise routines, enrichment, and behavioral management. I am certified in pet first aid and CPR and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with owners. I am comfortable handling large breeds, high-drive dogs, reactive dogs, puppies, and dogs that require routine reinforcement of training. I aim to provide dependable, calm, and structured care so dogs feel secure and owners feel confident while they are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work a structured full-time schedule, which allows me to reliably provide morning, evening, and weekend care. I am active and used to exercising dogs regularly, so walks, drop-ins, and consistent routines are easy for me to maintain. I plan my week in advance and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, ensuring pets receive dependable and attentive care. Safety and structure are always my top priorities. With my background as a professional dog trainer and certification in pet first aid and CPR, I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
