About: My family worked with the Texas GSP rescue for 15 years, fostering an average of 2-3 dogs a year ever since I was 5 years old. I have also trained and cared for my families dogs every since I was old enough to do so. In my senior year of high school, I interned at a veterinarian clinic and worked at a veterinarian clinic in Lubbock. I am currently taking classes at Texas Tech university and have time between my classes to care for your fur baby. Ill be able too easily include pet care into my daily schedule I am currently not able to board pets in my home so as of right now I will not be able to provide this service

About: Available for initial meet up - to ensure a good match. I've had many pets throughout my life. Dogs, cats, lizards, birds, frogs, rabbits, an injured horned owl, raccoons, and fish! I currently share my apartment with one special cat - a rescue cat named Mogwai. I've had both inside and outside dogs. I have trained several of my dogs (small breeds) so I have a fair amount of knowledge. I'm a 36 year old working from home as a retirement financial investment manager during the day. I have a lot of flexibility to be able to also take care of your pet! I think Rover is a great way to meet some cool pups and cats and help people with the many responsibilities of pet ownership. I look forward to meeting you and your pet/pets! Pet care fits easily into my routine since I work from home. I have ample flexibility to care for your fur baby. I’m an active person who like to talk walks and be outside while also loving a good pet cuddle. I ensure it is a good match between me and the animal. Generally speaking, let’s usually like me. I’d give them plenty of attention and love while also ensuring their basic needs like food, water, relief and exercise are met.

About: I’ve pay attention to dogs personalities and enjoy surrounding myself with animals. Nothing more brings me joy than a happy pet! I can teach dogs tricks especially if they’re food motivated it’s fun to see how clever they are. I’m working part-time unfortunately right now I can’t house any dogs unless they are smaller/lapdogs. I am willing to housesit and have a vehicle to provide guaranteed transport. I live next to a park that’s friendly for dogs and I’m available to walk them just about anytime. To care in your home I’m willing to go to dog parks or long walks in the neighbor to reach their needs.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets of all personalities and needs. In addition to household pets, I’ve also raised cattle and goats through FFA, which has given me a strong foundation in responsibility, patience, and working with animals that require daily care and attention. This experience has taught me how to stay consistent, follow instructions closely, and notice small changes in animal behavior or health. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” animals, I genuinely care for them and understand how to handle both calm and more challenging situations. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine since I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. I attend school from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and I sometimes have a few responsibilities after school, but I’m pretty flexible and good at managing my time. Through FFA, I previously raised cattle and goats, which taught me responsibility, consistency, and how important it is to stick to a care routine and pay attention to animals’ needs. School will be ending soon, so I will be even more available and flexible during the summer, which will allow me to take on more pet sitting opportunities and give pets more consistent care and attention. In my client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I make sure to follow all instructions for feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box cleaning, and any medications if needed. I also spend time with the pets to give them attention, playtime, and companionship based on their personality and comfort level. I always make sure to keep their space clean, safe, and respected, and I check in on them consistently so they feel cared for and not alone. My goal is to treat every pet like my own and keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible.

About: I love animals, but dogs just have my heart. I have had many pet dogs in my life. One whom was born sick; she had a sever type of mange and i had to give medication daily and bathe frequently. That was never a problem to me. I currently have two fur babies, one that i found on the street that someone had thrown and one that i adopted. My fur baby that was found on the street has a problem with his hips and I try my best to keep him comfortable. ALL animals are beautiful! Hello Fur Parents! Need someone to have a companion the whole time you’re gone ? I got it, i’m always home! I am a full time momma trying to make a little extra cash to help my husband. Before staying home, I was in the Medical Field as a CNA/Phlebotomist but left that behind to stay home with my newborn baby! My husband is off (Fri. - Sun.) so he helps me on weekends which are my busiest. We’re a team! I have a home that has a backyard that is securely fenced and is pretty specious for your babies to burn all that energy out. I also have two of my own fur babies who are the most loving and playful that have what feels like a million toys who are waiting to be shared with.

About: I grew up training and showing dogs! I've also been a trusted volunteer dog walker/foster parent for local humane societies in the past, taking care of dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages! My family frequently fostered litters of puppies as young as 6 weeks. I also have plenty of experience with seniors and the specific health problems that come with that, after loving my cocker spaniels right up to the end. Life doesn't allow me to have a dog of my own at the moment, so I'll jump on any chance for some pupper love! I daylight as a professional wildlife biologist, but I am currently between jobs and so have all the time in the world to give your four-legged companions! My schedule is wide open. Safety is, of course, the highest priority, and reading animal body language is the key to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for your pet and avoiding stressful situations. This is a skill I feel very confident with after so many years of varied pet care. Second to safety is fun! Whether that looks like a brisk walk, a casual stroll, a laser pointer, a game of fetch, or just getting some relaxed quality time in is entirely up to your pet. Regardless, I'm happy to fulfill their needs.

About: I have had pets my whole life and have experience taking care of them and other pets. I am now in college majoring in veterinary medicine I am currently in college but I am from Las Vegas and right now I have a very flexible schedule before I go back to school. I always make sure to do meet and greets so my clients' pets can get to know me in a familiar environment. This also allows clients to show me where things are (food, leash, medications, etc.) and anything else I may need to know to take care of their animals.

I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends for years, handling everything from daily walks to overnight care. As a college student, caring for dogs isn't just a side job for me; it’s something I truly enjoy. I take pride in providing a safe, attentive, and fun environment where your pup feels right at home. As a biochemistry major with a double minor in math and biology, I’m used to staying organized and focused. I intentionally manage my workload so I never take on pet care unless I can give your dog the full time and attention they deserve. My busiest day is Thursday during my lab, but because most of my coursework is online, I’m home study-buddy style with your pets during the week. Plus, I keep my Saturdays completely free for fun trips to the park or Starbucks pup cup runs! When caring for your pet in your home, trust and safety are my top priorities. About: I have been pet sitting for about 2 years, but it is my favorite side job! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and have been trusted to stay in homes to take care of people’s beloved family members, and their home. I’m currently an elementary school teacher at Wolffarth Elementary in North Lubbock. Depending on what area I am in, I will usually leave with enough time to get to work by 7am. I cannot leave for lunch as I sadly only have 30 minutes, but I am done by 4 every day. This makes it easy to spend the evening with them and I won’t have different hours every day - routine is great for pets! I also share holidays with students so I am pretty available for sitting jobs at those times. While my apartment is a 1 bedroom, it is cozy and great for lower energy dogs. I have plenty of space for them to lay out and they stay in the air conditioning all day. For more active pets, I live right next to a middle school with a paved track for walking, and I am close to a park for dogs who love to run and play fetch!
