About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little. From training puppies, to grooming, to senior dogs who may need gentle care. I look forward to meeting your babies! I work full time, but it is a banking job so it’s very flexible. I can check on your animals every morning occasionally during my lunch, and also after work. I’m off by 4. I am off every weekend as well so I have plenty of time to make sure your babies are well taken care of. In my home currently I have a puppy of my own. I have crate, plenty of toys to share, the best of quality food, extra water and food bowls. There is a lot of grass and a lake with sidewalk to take your puppy on walks. My puppy also does well with other dogs but can be separated if needed. I am very respectful of owners homes, as I would expect in return. About: I love pets and spending time with them. I don't have one currently because I’m in college and I can't afford them. My brother has a dog that I take care of every winter when he travels. About: We have been doing Rover for a decade, and we love hosting your pets in our home! We have always had pets in our home, they’ve always been part of our life! When families are out of town we think it is very important for pets to be taken care of by someone who will treat them like their families do. We want to provide them with love and care while their families are away and help them stick to their routine so they will transition easily back when their family returns home. If this so happens to be a problem for an owner I have the ability to move my animals in order to care for the owner's dog/dogs. About: I can't really think of a time I didn't have a dog, I've learned how to potty train puppies since I was little. Love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Know how to bowl and crate train, as well as all basic commands and care. We have a great shaded and fenced back yard with fresh water and a cool house with dog beds and crates. I've had lots of challenging dogs, and lots of sweet hearts. The two I have now are very good with other dogs, and I have two well behaved kids 2-4 that can be kept separate from the dogs if needed, as we have crates and a yard and multiple rooms (as well as experience in that). Recently got laid off from my blue collar job, so I have lots of free time on my hands rn. I usually let the dogs out as needed throughout the day as they want, or as the heat allows. I am a licensed veterinary technician here in Texas (I was previously licensed in Nevada before moving to the Lubbock area) and as such, I am able to provide services such as medicating furbabies that need medications and providing transport to the veterinarian if necessary (either my place of employment or your own preferred clinic). Some of my own pets are on medication, so making sure your furbaby gets any medication they need will be no problem at all! Some of my pets also have special dietary needs, so you can have complete confidence that if your pet needs the same, all needs will be met. I work full-time during the week at a fairly busy veterinary hospital. As far as drop-in visits go, I am able to make morning and evening visits any day, and midday visits on a case-by-case basis. Drop-ins will be performed at the time requested UNLESS they fall in a time range where I will be working. In those cases, visits will be either early in the morning and/or in the evening after work. Daily pet care is a staple in my household since I have my own pets, many of which require medical care including special diets and medications. Any care requested by clients will be performed to the best of my ability. Whether it be simple feeding instructions or something more in-depth, rest assured that your pet's care is in very capable hands.

As a biochemistry major with a double minor in math and biology, I’m used to staying organized and focused. I intentionally manage my workload so I never take on pet care unless I can give your dog the full time and attention they deserve. My busiest day is Thursday during my lab, but because most of my coursework is online, I’m home study-buddy style with your pets during the week. Plus, I keep my Saturdays completely free for fun trips to the park or Starbucks pup cup runs! When caring for your pet in your home, trust and safety are my top priorities. I treat every home with respect and ensure your pet is kept supervised and out of harm’s way by keeping all hazardous items completely out of reach. I also believe that clear communication brings peace of mind, so I send frequent updates and photos throughout the visit to keep you connected with your pet every step of the way!
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I used to work for a dog trainer and learned so much about caring for and understanding different breeds. Since moving to Lubbock five years ago, I’ve done regular dog walking and housesitting for local families, it’s truly something I love to do. I have a flexible schedule, which means your pup gets my full attention and care. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have two friendly dogs of my own who love having new friends around. My home has a fully fenced backyard where pups can play and stretch their legs safely. I’m also able to crate dogs if needed or if that’s what they’re used to at home, whatever makes them most comfortable!
About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I have owned all shapes and sizes. I currently have a whippit-pitbull mix who is my child. I know how precious pets are to a family and offer the same care I would offer to a person. I love going to shelters to play with the dogs and give them love. If I could adopt every dog in the world I would, until them I will give them love and care while their parents are away. I work full-time during the week, but I am 100% free to stop in on weekend and holidays and walk or love on the dog. My schedule is a little tight Monday through Friday as I have my own baby to get home, but I am happy to stop in after work. I do not offer services in my home as I live with roommates who also have a dog. I am more than willing to do stop in visits in the dogs home.

About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of three girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with most dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. Probably the only animals I would not be comfortable with are mice and rats. To each their own, of course. I love to spend time with new animals. Depending of course on how friendly yours are, I like to do more than just feed them and walk them. If your cats or dogs like to play, then I am the person you want. I have my own three cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. I do this and other gig jobs, so my schedule is pretty flexible. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own three are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are not so busy with traffic, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority. I do not mix animals from different families. It's stressful enough that they are around a new person.

About: I love pets and spending time with them. I don't have one currently because I’m in college and I can't afford them. My brother has a dog that I take care of every winter when he travels. I have a lot of time to spend on your pets. I've had a dogs and a cat my whole life. I'm college student that’s currently on summer break with nothing to do, so l have plenty of time to care for your pets as if they were my own. I live in an apartment community but there is a fenced yard for pets and I live fairly close to a park and a walking trail is just down the street from where I live.

About: I’ve taken care of lots of different animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm with lots of animals and have used rover with my parents for the last couple years. I am now doing so on my own. I’m currently working part time and taking online classes while my boyfriend is looking for a job. We have a lot of time at home to spend caring and loving on our pets.
