About: Animal rescue is my true passion in life. I grew up rescuing and caring for animals with my mom, and as an adult, I’ve continued to adopt pets in need from my local shelter. I enjoy building trust with animals and watching them feel safe and comfortable with me. I’m experienced in administering medication, understanding animal body language, and creating a calming environment so your pet can relax. I know how hard it can be to leave your animal with someone else, especially when they require special care. I promise to treat your animals as if they were my own. I am reliable, compassionate and a proficient communicator. My goal is to give you the peace of mind of knowing your pets are loved and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home which allows me greater flexibility to be available for your animals. For dog walking and drop in visits, I'm typically available after 3PM on weekdays, or all day on weekends. For house sitting, I can work at your home during my stay to provide full time care. I prefer to care for your pets in their own home, as my rescue cat does not get along with other animals. I'm happy to take on any and all responsibilities for your pets, whether it's in your home or during walks. Your pet's health and safety is my top priority.

About: Ever since I was a small child, neighbors and friends have entrusted me to check in on their beloved animals and ensure they are fed, played with, and cleaned up after. As an adult who normally teaches full time, I have house sit for colleagues who have children and take them on vacation while I look after their dogs and their parents' chickens across the street. I don't work summers or during school breaks and I don't have kids so I have a lot of flexibility and free time when school is not in session. I'm great with animals On breaks and weekends, I can make pet care my sole focus. No children or other pressing obligations means that I can give all my attention to your furry friends. I come prepared to enrich your pets time and can read a book while they sleep. My husband can handle my household chores so that I don't have to leave your house if that is what the job entails. The only real routine barrier is my teaching job but that is only during week days in the 10 month school year not accounting for planned holidays, Summer or weeks off. I can prepare food, take on walks, clean litter boxes, give medicine, regularly keep water bowls cleaned and filled, play with and ensure that all animals are where they are supposed to be when I turn in for the night or leave the house. I will defer to client's needs or requests as well for anything out of the ordinary.

About: I have cared for pets for many years. I have experience working in an animal shelter with dogs and cats, and have additional experience pet-sitting and caring for a variety of animals with a variety of needs- from dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and even snakes! In addition to my pet care experience, I was raised on an inner-city farm, so I am familiar with the work, time, and care that should be devoted to animals of all kinds. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old! My entire live I have had dogs all around me and apart of my family. As I got older I learned more about the importance of animal care. I have pet sit my families dogs many times as well as friends and neighbors. I not only pet sit but walk and run dogs! In high school I actually had a small business where I would take peoples dogs for a run or walk! I work part time and am in my last year of college at Cornell University. I tend to go on walks and runs daily so I would love to have a dog accompany me. I tend to study at home in a friend friendly community so I will have lots of time to care for them. I am very observant and watchful! Being in the science field has allowed me to pay attention to detail, so I take that in to my practice or caring for animals. I truly love dogs so much and have a passion for caring for them!
