About: I’ve had pets most of my life, and at one point we had 3 cats and a dog. I love being able to stay with your pets so you can travel knowing they will be well cared for! I’m currently retired so my schedule is very flexible. I have done quite a bit of house sitting for dogs and cats and manage my life around their needs. I’m happy to care for your pets at your house so that they can stay at home and not have to adjust their routine. I can administer medication, and feed them on the schedule that they are used to.

About: I have been pet sitting for many years, typically with friends and family. I have been responsible for cats (domestic & feral), dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, fish, bearded dragons, geckos and even a millipede! I have also worked with animals in a professional setting for 14 years and I have some veterinary assistant experience. I’m happy to handle extra tasks such as retrieving mail, watering plants and even some light housekeeping. I work full time (4 days per week) but can provide morning and evening care most days. On days off, I can be flexible and as available as your pet requires. I will be as candid as possible about my schedule to ensure choosing me is the best option! In a clients home, I follow all instructions given in regard to their pets care. I ensure the pet is comfortable with me before any handling or petting. I love to send photos and updates to clients letting them see how their pet is doing.

About: I have always had dogs in my life. My parents chose our first dog, a blue healer, after their honeymoon. I was three. Skeeter and I would tromp through the woods often. We moved to the Middle East when I was 9, and we had to give her to another family, but when we returned, we were contacted by the family: they were moving and wondered if we would like her back. It was a very happy reunion. She passed away when I was 18. In my third year of college, I decided to get a dog of my own. It was a dumb idea because I didn't have the forethought to think about how being a dogowner would limit my housing options over the next 10 years. Baloo was a German shepherd mix. He was a rescue from a Native American reservation in AZ, what we call a "res dog". He and I had several adventures over the decade I could call him mine. He passed away a little over two years ago, and I still miss him now. These days, I am mom to Benedict and Tigerlily. Benny is a sweet old rescue from California. He is likely part pitbull, and part sharpei. He's a sweetheart, super chill with my kids, and loves to walk the trails behind my house. Tigerlily Is a baby baby. The two of them are inseparable. I work from home and have my kids 3-5 nights / week. We love all the dogs and love to take them on walks through the woods and to the park. I provide a chill space where dogs feel like they can relax and trust that someone will come along soon to scritch their ears. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a large unfenced backyard.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. For more than 20 years, I’ve cared for my own dogs as well as pets belonging to friends, family, and clients. I’ve worked with puppies, seniors, and dogs with special needs, and I’m comfortable following detailed feeding routines, giving oral medications, and caring for anxious or reactive dogs. Since I have a reactive dog of my own, I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and helping dogs feel safe instead of overwhelmed. Most mornings start with several miles on the trail or around the neighborhood with my own dogs, so active dogs who enjoy getting outside fit naturally into my routine. At the same time, I’m just as happy taking things slow with a senior dog who would rather wander, sniff, and enjoy a quiet walk. When your dog is with me, you can expect: • Calm, dependable care from someone who is comfortable managing multiple dogs • Safe, structured walks based on your dog’s pace and personality • Time to explore, sniff, play, or simply relax, depending on what your dog enjoys • Regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing I don’t believe every dog needs the same experience. Some love an adventure, some thrive on routine, and some are happiest curled up beside someone they trust. My goal is to figure out what makes your dog feel comfortable and make sure they have that while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and learn what makes them happiest. Most mornings you’ll find me outside before the heat sets in. I walk my own dogs every day, spend a lot of time hiking local trails, and genuinely enjoy being outdoors. Adding another walk or checking in on someone else’s pet doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s just part of a life I already love. I’m pretty low-key by nature, so I don’t rush through visits or watch the clock. If your dog wants to sniff every blade of grass, we’ll sniff. If your cat would rather sit quietly while I read a book than play, that’s okay too. I believe every animal has its own personality, and I try to meet them where they are instead of expecting them to fit into my routine. My goal is simple: when you come home, your pet has been well cared for, and you don’t have to wonder if they were just another stop on someone’s schedule. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I try to keep life as normal as possible. I stick closely to the routine you’ve already established because consistency helps pets feel secure. Meals happen when they’re used to eating, walks happen on their schedule, and medications are given exactly as instructed. I don’t believe every dog needs the same approach. Some want to play nonstop, some just want to sniff every inch of the yard, and some are happiest curled up beside you. I pay attention to what each pet is telling me and let them settle in at their own pace. I also know how reassuring updates can be when you’re away. I’ll send photos and let you know how your pet is doing, so you can enjoy your trip without wondering if everything is okay.
