About: I've owned and taken care of cats and dogs for a very long time and can't wait to take care of your babies too! I was a veterinary assistant for 5 years in both small and large animal clinics and am very comfortable taking care of all animals. I also grew up riding horses and handling large animals. I'm happy to do farm animal or reptile drop in visits as well. Let me know of any special instructions for your fur babies and we will work it out! I am a graduate student at UVA so I am typically working during the day but can do drop in visits morning/afternoon and walks at those times as well. I want to know what your routine is and I will do my best to follow it to the letter so that your pet is comfortable and gets the most out of our time together.

About: I love animals! I believe your fur baby is more than just a pet, they are a member of your family. I have cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and employers for years, and I will always treat them with love and care. I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. My only available time to assist with pets throughout the work week would be after 5pm. I am very flexible on weekends! I unfortunately will not have the room to care for pets in home yet. However, I can care for pets at your home. I will make sure your dog or cat has all the love and attention it needs and go above and beyond on making sure your pet feels comfortable and happy.

Lucy was fantastic! We had a cancellation less than 36 hours before my wife and I had to leave for our wedding/mini moon for 2 weeks. Lucy responded immediately and was able to help. Toby looked so happy in all of his pictures. He has some medical issues and Lucy was able to follow the care he needs. Would definitely have Lucy sit for Toby in the future!
