About: I'm a pet person! My favorite part of caring for dogs is the walks, whether it's just a a few minutes or a few miles. My experience is as follows: ☆Caring for my family's cat and dog, from youth/kitten to senior age ☆Pet-sitting for friend's cats and dogs ☆Volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter ☆Volunteering with a puppy rescue (walking + working on leash training) I've cared for cats and dogs in all stages, from puppies and kittens to senior animals. I'm always open to learn to care for animals of all kinds and grow my experience! I have open availability for walks and overnight stays! I'm currently not equipped to board in my home but hope to in the future. I'm new to Charlottesville and hope to build community + support myself through pet care until my summer job starts. Keeping a safe and stress-free environment for your pet is my priority! I'll follow your lead in terms of feeding times, walk length + route, and crate procedures to make your pets experience as safe and consistent as possible.

About: I got my first dog at 12, at one point I had 2 dogs & 4 cats! Most of my pets have been rescues, totaling 20+ in 52 years, as my daughters brought home many. I live on a lake with a big back & front yard, in a cul-de-sac, in a quiet neighborhood. I walk my dog when the weather permits and love being outside, at dog parks, playing ball. I look forward to caring for your babies as I do mine. Please have all pets up to date on shots and using a flea & tick preventative. I will need copies of your shot records for boarding. I work from home & have a housemate who helps when I have clients. Gino, my terrier mutt, is 2 yrs. old, well socialized, and plays with my 2 cats. I am hoping to make him more dog friends. I have 2 "guest crates" if you don't have your own. Your pet will be toileted every 2 hrs. unless they're sleeping. Walking will happen as weather permits.

“My dogs (particularly one of them) are a challenge and Nathan was willing to stay with them at my home after meeting them. He took great care of them and followed all instructions for them including giving them their medication. He took great care of the house as well. Highly recommended!”

“Chloe was wonderful with my 3 “fur kids”. My Labrador Jaxon took to her right away. He looked so happy when he was out walking and hanging around the house. Chloe even saved my couch cover from the naughty doggy 🤪 My cat Pistachio happily let Chloe pet him at the first meeting (he usually hides under the bed). My Guinea pig Kaytee came out for her veggie treats and feeding. Chloe communicated with me promptly and sent some great pictures. I am grateful to have found her and will definitely book with her again.”
