About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. I have two cats of my own, and I enjoy dog and cat sitting just as much as spending time with my own pets. Since I love going on long walks, I’m the perfect match for dogs who need some exercise. Whether it's a walk, a check in, or overnight, I will make sure your pets get all the love and care they need! I currently work close to full time, but I still have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to other responsibilities. My days are always free until 4pm, and I’m also available later in the evenings. In addition, I’m off every Sunday, which allows me even more time! I will care for your pets with the same love and compassion I give my own. I'm responsible and dependable, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of many dogs and love to bond with them. Family and friends have let me pet sit for years and who doesn’t love hanging out with a cute dog. I am currently a part time student and in my off I go on walks and play with my own dog at home. I also go to dog parks to play with my two dogs. About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and am currently trying to build my portfolio. I volunteered at the Cincinnati Animal Shelter for 3 consecutive years before I moved to Indianapolis, where I volunteered and fostered at Indy Humane!! I am now in Charlottesville for the summer as I prepare for law school and my boyfriend starts his Masters at UVA. I am currently available because Rover is my main work priority this summer, allowing me flexible scheduling and consistent availability for bookings, care, and communication. About: I’ve always had animals growing up. My family bred Saint Bernards, so I have experience with animals of all sizes and ages. I loved helping take care of them, but have been unable since I moved for college. I am really excited to meet your pets. I’m currently working part-time with a very flexible job. I can do anytime as long as I have about a weeks notice prior. Thank you! I have a fenced in court-yard and currently have no pets, so your pet is my number 1 priority. About: I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications. I’m currently working part time three days a week and an occasional Saturday, so I have the time to care and interact for your furry friend. I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.

About: Animals have been a passion in my life as far back as I can remember. I am a pitbull mama who fell in love with the breed in my early 20s. I learned about their breed by raising a pitbull mama and daddy and their three babies. That pack shaped me into who I am today. I have worked at a pet boarding facility many years ago, and have worked at both the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA and the Fluvanna SPCA. My husband and I currently own 8 pit bulls and 6 cats. Let’s not forget the ducks and chickens! I can promise you that I will take the best care of your best friend, and treat them like my own providing them with lots of love and enrichment. I am available certain Saturdays and sometimes on Sundays. We can look at schedules on a case by case basis and customize based on individual needs. All of our dogs have GPS tracking collars on as well as invisible fence security. Our cats have Apple tags on them for safety. All of our cats and dogs are indoor animals. Safety is the most important thing to me and I assure you I will make sure I am the safest I can be with your pet.

About: I have experience caring for dogs in-home, in a pet hotel, and managing on leash fun. I also ample experience working with exotic pets, zoo animals, and wildlife! There isn’t a species I can’t lovingly and competently care for. Mediation Administration, diet management, and special needs care are my specialties. I provide written updates and pictures of your pet having fun after each visit! When I’m not working as a wildlife care professional, I set aside time to care for your pets! I am available on Tuesdays and Wednesday's, and some other mornings. I request a video meet and greet first to determine if we are a good match. Then, I will get detailed care instructions from the pet owner and will follow them to a T! Always making sure to allow some time for lots of animal cuddles.

About: I’m an active remote worker, which means I have the ultimate flexibility to provide full time supervision and companionship right from home. Because my schedule is so adaptable throughout the day, I can easily head out to walk your dog or check in on them at your home, depending on the service you desire. I’m exceptionally reliable, highly communicative, and dedicated to giving your dog the active, attentive care they deserve. My experience comes from hands on care with dogs of completely different personalities: Dakota: Dakota is a total high energy people person who loves attention and staying active. Bandit: Bandit matches that high energy but is shy around people and does not like other dogs. Hanging out with Bandit has taught me exactly how to advocate for dogs who need their space and take time to warm up. Jackson: I also look after a dog named Jackson. He is high energy, loves the beach, and is a total social butterfly who absolutely loves both dogs and people! I love staying active and have a highly flexible schedule, which means your dog gets constant companionship, plenty of attention, and a built-in workout buddy! Whether they are staying at my place or I'm popping over to your neighborhood, I’d love to include your pup in my daily walks and outdoor adventures. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether we are out on a walk or hanging out at home: On Walks: I stay highly aware of our surroundings and advocate for your dog's specific boundaries. If your dog needs space from other animals, I proactively steer clear of triggers to keep things stress free. If they love a crowd, we keep the pace active and fun. At Home: My flexible remote schedule provides a calm, fully supervised environment with constant companionship. With consistent walks and plenty of backyard playtime, you can rest assured that your dog will be getting plenty of love and activity while staying with me! Routines: I am incredibly diligent about following your exact feeding schedules, safety rules, and strict dietary needs to keep your dog’s routine completely consistent.
