Some dogs are very laid back and only require food and bathroom breaks. For more energetic and/ or needier dogs, I am willing to do frequent walks and play with them. Also, I do currently still have an ileostomy bag attached to my stomach. For the most part, I am feeling healthier and dealing with less fatigue than when I initially had tumor removal surgery, but I feel like all of my clients should be aware of this from the jump. I feed my dog once when I wake up and again in the middle of the day. I also let him out frequently based on physical and vocal cues. For lazier dogs, I can do a variety of relaxing activities with them in my sight. As for more energetic dogs, I love playing with them in their yard or taking them for neighborhood walks.
