I am a part time math tutor and I also work at Costco. As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. With no classes or school obligations right now, I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits—whatever fits your pet’s routine best. I love spending my summer surrounded by animals, and I’m fully committed to giving each pet the time and attention that they need. Safety and trust are my top priorities in every pet care situation. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their space and routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow all owner instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to medication dosages—to ensure consistency and well-being. I always secure doors, windows, and any potential hazards to create a safe environment. As for staying in my home, I unfortunately cannot have other pets coming and staying with me, due to the amount of allergies in my household and my older dog that is living with me

About: Though I'm new to Rover, I've been pet-sitting for neighbors and friends for 10+ years! I've taken care of dogs, cats, llamas, goats, and more. I've lived my whole life with dogs and cats of all ages, so I'm familiar with puppy/kitten and senior care. I know how to give medications including oral, topical, and injectable. I love animals and I promise to give your pets the same love and compassionate care I give my own! I'm currently working part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I may be able to accommodate some last-minute requests, especially for drop-ins or dog walking. I live in Greene County, but I commute to Harrisonburg when I'm working so I can potentially take bookings around that area as well. If your dog likes to visit a certain tree on all their walks, or your cat gets a treat at a specific time each day, let me know! Please also share any quirks, anxieties, medical problems, or anything else special about your pet so I can cater to their individual needs.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 5 years old and currently have two of my own. For the past three years, I’ve been dog sitting for families with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m comfortable handling everything from energetic puppies to more relaxed, older dogs, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m currently a senior at JMU with a light course load, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and lots of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. About: I’ve taken care of many different size pets. Usually different dog breeds, everything from a yorkie to a bull mastiff. Older dogs 10 years plus and even puppies for a bit of time. Usually I provide weekend services unless they are allowed to be in a crate for an extended period of time. I prefer not to keep them in a crate. Usually I will drop my pet off at my parents house so it makes it easier to focus and stay on top of each pets needs.

About: I started working on a farm when I was 12, taking care of a variety of animals. Dogs, of course, are my favorite. I’ve taken care of tiny chihuahuas, large mastiffs, & even worked with trained hunting dogs. I only work part-time & have a flexible schedule. This makes it easy for me to not only care for your dogs but spend quality time with them as well! I believe animals should be treated with utmost respect. About: Energetic, up and coming dog trainer! I studied for two years at a shop with a dog nutritionist, have apprenticed with a dog trainer for the past year, and just completed a six month program with Highland Canine Dog Training in North Carolina. My love for dogs really started upon volunteering to walk dogs at my local animal shelter and continued to helping with my reactive family pup become her best confident self. I love working with any and all pets including but not limited to puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, anxious pets, cats and even small animals including rats.
