1. Zach D.
“Zach is a lover of all dogs, even wild young puppies. He has had dogs in his family his whole life and has loved, played and cared for all of them. I left my 3 month old puppy with him for a month and I could not have had better care. He also helped to train her while he had her.”
2. Ben M.
“Ben has watched our 3 dogs, cat and chickens twice for us so far. We have him scheduled to care for our crew later this summer as well! I can’t recommend him enough, he is very kind and trustworthy. Ben absolutely loves our animals, cares for them just as we would and leaves our home just as we left it! We have also appreciated the daily updates we receive when we are away. Your pets are in great hands with Ben!”
3. Jocelyn J.
“Jocelyn was great with our dog Sage! We would definitely use her again and highly recommend 😊”
4. Kaylie S.

I’ve boarded my families dogs for vacations and made sure all medications and routines were followed I work from home so I am home every day to spend time with your babies. I have minimal plans outside of the city to take me away from your animals care I have a fenced in back yard and a loving standard poodle to keep your baby safe and happy while you’re gone. I also have a large home to give them the space they need to roam and feel comfortable
5. Kori Z.
“Kori loves animals and is great with them. Her friends and family turn to her to care for their cats and dogs and she's taken care of many rescued animals. She has several cats herself including a 20 year old cat who's still going strong. If you're looking for an attentive and enthusiastic sitter for your pet, I recommend Kori!”
6. Karen D.
“Knowing Karen for over 40 years and her love for animals, she would be my first call to watch any of my furr babies. We grew up on farms just a mile away from each other and Karen had taught me so much about the care of animals. She is gentle loving and dedicated to care for others animals, like they are hers. She loves each animal the same, and her love for nature makes her a great candidate to walk, babysit, and care for your furr babies.”
7. Taylor L.
About: I have grown up around large dogs and animals my entire life. I have been pet sitting for more than nine years now, and I’m comfortable taking care of all breeds and sizes. I believe that every animal should be loved and cared for! I'm also a very active person, so long walks and playtime are no problem. I’m currently working a part time job, but my schedule is flexible. Both morning and evening times are preferred, but I can accommodate as needed. Depending on what the owner and pet needs, I can adjust services accordingly. Every animal is different and my priority is to make sure they are comfortable and cared for. For example, trips out of the house, long walks, mental stimulation for high energy/anxious animals, or just extra love.
8. Rebecca P.
“Rebecca was amazing with Archie! He is a rescue with some fear around new people and he had no issues at all, I would highly recommend booking her!”
9. Julia H.
“Julia has dog sit for me multiple times. One particular time, she stayed with my dog for a whole week while I was on vacation. She provided exceptional care for my sweet pup. Every day I was gone she would send me pictures and give me updates on how he was doing. My dog gets excited every time he sees her and she makes sure to spend extra time petting him and playing with him outside of her required duties...walking, feeding, etc. I have seen her interact with my dog as well as other animals, and I can tell she genuinely has a love for animals, and animals have a love for her. I would trust her with my dog any day and know that she would go above and beyond. Julia is the first person I ask when I need help with my pup. She is an excellent communicator and is very flexible. I would recommend Julia in a heartbeat, she is wonderful!”

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. I have often pet sat for family and friends. I have also trained my family dogs basic needs. I work part-time for only a few hours out of the day 3-4 days a week, so I am normally available often. I am always home during the day and love to hangout with animals in my free time. I do not have a fenced yard but I can easily take pets on walks around my neighborhood. We have things put away so there is nothing they could eat or get hurt with. We keep our apartment clean and our door locked at all times.
11. Carrie D.
About: Hi there! I'm Carrie. I have been a pet owner and caretaker for over 15 years! I am experienced in walking, feeding, and otherwise caring for several types of pets. I currently own a cat and a dog, but I can also care for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! My main option here is dog walking, but I can also do drop-in visits as needed. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals and take them for walks. I am available most weekends for drop-in visits, and I will house sit as needed! I will ensure that dogs remain safely leashed during all walks. If the temperature of asphalt is too warm for walks I make sure to stick to grassy areas. I ensure that I know current vet care and contact numbers for emergency situations.
12. Catelyn C.
“Catelyn is wonderful with my dog! She exercises patience and is adaptable with my sometimes ornery and reactive 11 month old puppy. I'm so grateful for her skills and feel totally at ease when she's with Lucy.”
13. Emily C.
“Emily does a really awesome job watching my dog Nash. He is always so excited to see her, he always rolls over on his back for her... and he doesnt do that for anyone else. She consistently sends pictures of what her and nash are doing, whether it be walking, feeding, or playing. She is the bomb! Totally recommend hiring her.”
14. Lauren G.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 13. Family and friends have asked me to walk and feed their dogs, cats, and I have even assisted them in caring for their chickens! I am quite skilled in taking care of senior animals. My two old pups passed away at the age of 15 and 16! I also have a 15 year old cat, Sally. So, I know the importance of being patient and loving to old and young animals. I am available 7 days a week, although three days a week I work at a part time job from 4-10. Just send me a message and I’m sure I can make some time for your furry friend ! I am able to come to your home and take care of your animals in their familiar surroundings - I love to give them lots of attention and play time! I will send video and photo updates at each visit if requested!

16. Hailey S.
About: Hi guys! My name is Hailey, a local to the valley, and trying to survive in my 20’s. I took a break from Rover as I was finishing college, started a new dental job, and I’m ready to come back! I have had many dogs since I was 7 years old, ranging from a 7lb dog to 80lbs. I have experience with many dog breeds and ages from owning them or past dog sitting gigs and I currently have 2 dogs in the house! I’m very active and get to the gym about 4-6x a week, so I would love to take your pup on walks, play with them, and give them plenty of love! I am a huge dog lover and would love to spoil your pup. (I will also send you pictures of me and your pup and what we are doing) I am at the dental office most of the time Monday - Fridays but am free once I get off at 4. I have worked at multiple dog kennels, including free run facilities, and have worked at the SPCA and the Virginia zoo in Norfolk, Virginia. Let me know what your needs are, and we will see if I can accommodate your needs, as my schedule is very open and flexible. My pet care is very custom tailored to your needs and your pet’s needs, let me know what you need and what your pet prefers. I have 4 dogs that stay exclusively in the back part of the home and have access to the backyard. Doggies I am sitting stay exclusively in the front part of the home and have access to the front yard, so there is non interaction between my dogs. 18. Jordan M.
About: Hello! I am a Rockingham County resident and excited to meet any local furry friends! Beyond growing up around cats and dogs, I have been pet sitting for friends and family for the last couple months so decide to come on here to see if I can help anyone else. I currently work from home and have availability to spend time with your pets Monday - Friday and some weekends! Please refer to my availability! I will try to keep that as up to date as possible! With having two cats and a dog I am very comfortable with adding your pet into the mix and I can imagine they will have a great time playing all together. However, all animals are unique and this can bring stress to some. I will try to be as accommodating as possible to the needs of every client whether that is separating the animals in the home or finding different arrangements that make everyone comfortable!
19. Aerika M.
“I have known Aerika for many years. She loves all animals and has kept my pets many times. Her knowledge as a licensed vet tech is a wonderful advantage as I know she would notice anything unusual in my pets. It is not uncommon to see my Boston Terrier Darcy snuggled up beside Aerika which speaks volumes because my Darcy is so very attacked to me. Aerika is friendly, warm hearted and extremely conscientious. I can highly recommend Aerika to any pet owner who wants a loving knowledgeable individual to give extra special care to their pet.”
20. Kristie G.
“Kristie helped me out with my puppy while we were painting our house. She was responsive and flexible to accommodate two long walks for Tsuki. I would highly recommend her as a dog walker! Thank you again!”
