About: Though I'm new to Rover, I've been pet-sitting for neighbors and friends for 10+ years! I've taken care of dogs, cats, llamas, goats, and more. I've lived my whole life with dogs and cats of all ages, so I'm familiar with puppy/kitten and senior care. I know how to give medications including oral, topical, and injectable. I love animals and I promise to give your pets the same love and compassionate care I give my own! I'm currently working part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I may be able to accommodate some last-minute requests, especially for drop-ins or dog walking. I live in Greene County, but I commute to Harrisonburg when I'm working so I can potentially take bookings around that area as well. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot hold dates for a pending request indefinitely. If your intention is to book with me, please confirm the booking as soon as you can so I can update my availability accordingly both on Rover and with my other job. Prompt communication is greatly appreciated! I believe it's most ideal for your pet if they can stay in their home environment and keep to their usual routine while you're away. If your dog likes to visit a certain tree on all their walks, or your cat gets a treat at a specific time each day, let me know! Please also share any quirks, anxieties, medical problems, or anything else special about your pet so I can cater to their individual needs.

About: The past 12 years a variety of animals have found their way into my life. For me to either love as my own or take care of as if they were my own. From large dog breed to farm animals, big to small, low maintenance to high maintenance. I have done it all and feel confident and comfortable that I can provide quality care for anything that may come my way. I have experience with taking care of more than 8 dogs at a time on my own, some being aggressive or timid. In situations where I am faced with aggression I am able to execute a calm and just course of actions. I believe that my experience in animal care will continue to grow. About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. From rabbits, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, fish, a squirrel, dogs, and/or cats. I currently have a 2 year old high energy husky who loves to keep us on a schedule for his park visits and walks. I love all animals- all shapes and sizes- and would love to help you get your pup out for exercise and potty breaks or even visits in the home if you have a cat or caged animal that needs tending to while you work or travel! I work 12 hour shifts Saturday Sunday and Mondays so I am not available on those days. I am available anytime Tuesdays through Friday however. I have a 2 year old husky who keeps us on a very regimented routine. Once we have taken our kids to school he is ready for his daily trip to the local dog park in hopes we catch his doggy friends, where we spend at minimum an hour and by 3pm he is ready for his evening walk to burn up some of his energy!

About: Ive been involved with animals my whole life. My family and i have raised 3 generations of labs. I've been grooming dogs for over 8 years. I've worked for doggy day cares throughout my career. I've volunteered for the SPCA. I love animals they are my passion in life and would care for them as my own. I love all types of pets and can handle super excited puppies and not so friendly doggies. :-) I love all types of dogs. Can be there in short notice and am quick thinking in case of emergency. About: I treat others animals the way I would want someone to treat my animals and showing how much they are cared for. I love animals so much! I will have plenty of time to take care of animals by feeding and giving water and letting them outside and playing with the animals. I play with my dog all the time, I feed and give water to my dog and cats, I show mine and others animals that they are loved.

About: I have taken care of and been around animals since I was a child. I had worked in Dog Daycares, walking dogs, and being a sitter for all kinds of animals. I can be gentle or authoritative with your pet while giving them love and kindness. My life is taking care of animals and loving them. I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets for walks, playtime, and so much more! I am quite strong to be able to hold tightly onto a leash if your animal is leash reactive. I am well versed in dog body language and can handle a hyperactive animal or a calm and cuddly baby.

About: I have had pets all my life. I grew up with dogs and cats. I have worked in a dog grooming washing salon as well as watched them! I am excited to meet all the adorable dogs!!! I currently work part time 12-5 most days and pretty flexible after most days after that. Available during The weekends when I’m off as well! About: I have grown up around animals but also have watched others animals since I was at least 12. I work at an equestrian barn and primarily petsit dogs and cats. I greatly enjoy my time with the animals. Ask for more details! Petsitting fits into my weekly routine so well! Whether it’s popping in for a walk or feed time, boarding, etc., I am dedicated. I have a lot of free time in the summer and during the school year (I’m a teacher), I also find time before and after school to recharge and take care of animals. About: I've had experience with my own pets since I was 10 years old, and I have walked dogs and house sat occasionally as well. I raised and trained my cat from when he was a kitten and my dog from the moment he was born. I love animals, and I'm excited to work with yours! About: My name is Charne! I used to have an English black lab who became my service baby and was the sweetest boy on this planet. I always knew I wanted to work with animals growing up. Weather that was rescuing them or just sharing my love with them!! I am certified for wildlife animal rescue as well. I am very active and would love to do outdoor/indoor fun activities with your pets!! I am experienced in special care for pets like medication, injections, wound care, etc. Animals are life and without them where would our hearts be! I’ve always had pets from the age of 0 until now! Growing up I was raised with three dogs, two cats, and always two birds! My parents always told me you can tell a lot about a person on how they treat animals!! I currently live with my Fiancé and we rescued our pup Zeppelin from an abusive home 5 years ago. He has now grown to realize that love does exist, kisses are always wanted, and the couch/bed is the most comfortable place on earth!! He has severe allergies so I have experience in prepping a raw diet to fit his allergy needs! We also have a cat named Sage. She’s my baby and our snuggles are my favorite part of the day! I’d love to share my love & care with other furry friends!! I currently own my own silversmithing business and make jewelry full-time, in my home and on my schedule so my availability is completely open!!! 🥰 I follow instructions to the T!! I understand that every pet has their own individual needs & requirements and those need to be met in order to keep them happy, by sticking to their known schedule! I unfortunately do not allow in home pet setting at my house as our dog was a rescue and we are still not comfortable him being around other animals for longer than an hour as his patience can run out. For the safety of our pets, I’m more than happy to pet sit in your home!! I have years of experience with different pups, volunteering at rescues and rescuing animals myself, so their safety and care will always be my top priority! Also giving unlimited love :))
